Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] (a) Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a cup lid and container
with cup lid, and more particularly to a structural configuration
that enables integration and tight clasping of a plurality of cup
bodies and cup lids.
[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art
[0004] Following changes in people's lifestyle, currently there are
numerous take-along beverages that have become extremely popular,
such as coffee, fruit juice, and a variety of tea beverages. Taking
into consideration the convenience of carriability and cost of
these types of beverages, current cups used for filling with
beverages and carrying away are generally made from paper, plastic,
or foaming material. And because of the preferable structural
strength of plastic beverage cups and lower cost, thus, this type
of cup is most widely adopted by companies selling beverages.
[0005] Hence, following the gradually accelerating pace of life in
modern industrial society, the market offers a wide variety of
containers for easy carrying and filling with food and beverages
(especially food). The food commonly seen in such containers
include: salad, cheese, fruit jellies, soft ice cream, tofu
pudding, and the like, and the containers primarily comprise an
outer cup, an outer lid, and an inner cup. However, the cup lid
must be removed when the user needs to eat the contents of the cup,
thus causing great inconvenience to the user when they are holding
the cup body with one hand while carrying other things with their
other hand. As a consequence, a type of cup lid was developed
wherein a support frame is disposed within the outer cup for
placement of the inner cup thereon. Accordingly, foodstuff such as:
salad, (coffee/tea) whitener, creamer, and syrup can be placed
within the inner cup.
[0006] Nevertheless, because the support frame is usually just a
structure placed within the inner cup, thus, the cup structure
requires the addition of an expendable item and corresponding
increase in cost, as well as raising awareness of environmental
concern. For this reason, development has focused on whether
structural improvements could be made on the cup structure and the
elimination of unnecessary components.
[0007] Hence, it is the desire of the inventor and manufacturers
engaged in related art and purpose of the present invention to
research, resolve and improve the problems and shortcomings of the
aforementioned prior art.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] Accordingly, in light of the shortcomings of the
aforementioned prior art, the inventor of the present invention,
having collected related data, and through evaluation and
consideration from many aspects, as well as having accumulated
years of experience in related arts, through continuous testing and
improvements, has designed a new cup lid and container with cup lid
as disclosed in the present invention.
[0009] The primary objective of the present invention lies in
providing a cup lid and container with cup lid, wherein in an
embodiment thereof a first clasp portion and a second clasp portion
are formed within a cup lid. A fourth clasp portion of a second cup
body is joined to the second clasp portion of the cup lid, and a
third clasp portion of a first cup body latches on to the first
clasp portion of the cup lid, thereby achieving a cup lid and
container with cup lid that facilitates separating foodstuff from
other food materials.
[0010] In order to achieve the aforementioned objective, a cup body
of the present invention comprises at least: the cup lid, the first
cup body, and the second cup body, wherein a first circumferential
surface on the edge of the cup lid is formed with at least one
first clasp portion, and a second circumferential surface on
another edge of the cup lid is formed with at least one second
clasp portion. The first circumferential surface and the second
circumferential surface are unidirectionally offset from each
other.
[0011] The present invention further provides a container with cup
lid, which comprises at least:
[0012] A cup lid, and a first circumferential surface on the edge
of the cup lid is formed with at least one first clasp portion, and
a second circumferential surface on another edge of the cup lid is
formed with at least one second clasp portion. The first
circumferential surface and the second circumferential surface are
unidirectionally offset from each other.
[0013] A first cup body, and the first cup body is provided with a
first holding space and a first open portion. A peripheral edge on
the first open portion of the first cup body is formed with a third
clasp portion, and the third clasp portion latches on to the first
clasp portion of the cup lid.
[0014] And a second cup body, with the second cup body being
provided with a second holding space and a second open portion. A
peripheral edge on the second open portion of the second cup body
is formed with a fourth clasp portion. The fourth clasp portion
latches on to the second clasp portion of the cup lid.
[0015] Specifically, when using the cup lid and container with cup
lid as disclosed in the present invention, the fourth clasp portion
of the second cup body is joined to the second clasp portion of the
cup lid by means of the first clasp portion and the second clasp
portion formed within the cup lid. And the third clasp portion of
the first cup body latches on to the first clasp portion of the cup
lid, thereby achieving a cup lid that facilitates separating
foodstuff from other food materials. Furthermore, a protruding
groove portion on the upper portion of the cup lid provides a
function that achieves a "stacked cups design," and which prevents
leaning over or overturning when a plurality of the beverage cups
are stacked, thus facilitating the saving of space for the user,
which at the same time facilitates moving a large number of stacked
cup bodies. Accordingly, the present invention is provided with
favorable flexibility and stability to facilitate clear separation
of food materials while providing a more convenient cup lid.
