Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) System

An online system that will retrieve documents from the USPTO’s electronic case file for any federal trademark or service mark applications and/or registrations that you own. To obtain information about a specific mark, you must enter into TSDR the associated U.S. serial number, U.S. registration number, U.S. reference number, or international registration number of the record that you seek and click on “Status” or “Documents” to pull the relevant information. Trademark applicants are expected to monitor the status of their applications to ensure that all documents sent to or received from the USPTO are timely acted upon. Check the status of your application at least every six months between the filing date of the application and issuance of a registration. We urge you to set up a reminder system. Please keep a copy of the TSDR status screen. If the status shows no change for more than six months, contact the Trademark Assistance Center by e-mail at TrademarkAssistanceCenter@uspto.gov or call 1-800-786-9199.
