Description
The invention relates to a stand for portable equipment, e.g. a
portable computer, said stand comprising a tray and a lid. Said
tray comprises a set of first grooves for side support members and
a set of second grooves for side support members, where said set of
first grooves is arranged at an angle to said set of second
grooves. The portable equipment is placed on said tray. At least
one of said side support members is movable along said set of first
grooves into contact with the portable equipment placed on said
tray and at least another one of said side support members is
movable along said set of second grooves into contact with the
portable equipment placed on said tray. In this way the portable
equipment will be securely fastened to the tray, even when the tray
is moved. A lid is arranged on the tray to provide protection for
the portable equipment during transport. A leg arrangement can be
attached to the bottom of said tray.
