Description



The invention relates to a stand for portable equipment, e.g. a portable computer, said stand comprising a tray and a lid. Said tray comprises a set of first grooves for side support members and a set of second grooves for side support members, where said set of first grooves is arranged at an angle to said set of second grooves. The portable equipment is placed on said tray. At least one of said side support members is movable along said set of first grooves into contact with the portable equipment placed on said tray and at least another one of said side support members is movable along said set of second grooves into contact with the portable equipment placed on said tray. In this way the portable equipment will be securely fastened to the tray, even when the tray is moved. A lid is arranged on the tray to provide protection for the portable equipment during transport. A leg arrangement can be attached to the bottom of said tray.

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view thereof;
