FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the writing instrument of FIG. 1, with the writing tip of the writing instrument being projected.

FIG. 7 is an enlarged sectional view of the writing instrument of FIG. 1, taken on a plane indicated in FIG. 1 by a line 7--7, in which an internal mechanism of the writing instrument of FIG. 1 is removed for clarity of illustration;
