FIG. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a front elevation of a segment of a tire sidewall showing a second embodiment of my new design;

FIG. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevation view within the circled area 4--4 in FIG. 3;

FIG. 5 is an enlarged sectional view taken along the line 5--5 in FIG. 4;

FIG. 6 is a front elevation view of a segment of a tire sidewall showing a third embodiment of my new design;

FIG. 7 is a front elevation view of segment of a tire sidewall showing a fourth embodiment of my new design;

FIG. 8 is a front elevation of segment of a tire sidewall showing a fifth embodiment of my new design;

FIG. 9 is a front elevation view of segment of a tire sidewall showing a sixth embodiment of my new design;

FIG. 10 is a greatly enlarged fragmentary front elevation view of the inner end of a group of ribs exemplary of the inner end of all ribs throughout the circumference of the segment of the tire sidewall that are obscured by solid black shading in FIGS. 3, 7, 8 and 9, it being understood that the inner end of the inversely oriented ribs in FIGS. 8 and 9 is the reverse image of those shown herein; and,

FIG. 11 is a greatly enlarged fragmentary front elevation view of the inner end of a group of ribs exemplary of the inner end of all ribs of the segment of the tire sidewall obscured by solid black shading in FIG. 6.

The rib pattern is understood to be repeated uniformly throughout the circumference of the segment of the tire sidewall as shown schematically by solid lines in FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9 of the drawings. In addition, the cross sectional shape of the ribs of the first and third through sixth embodiments of the segment of the tire sidewall is understood to be the same as the second embodiment thereof as shown in FIG. 5 of the drawing. Furthermore, the portions of the tire shown in broken lines in FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are for illustrative purposes only and form no part of the claimed design.
