DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0021] The present disclosure relates to a multifunctional shoe
accessory device ("the device"). The device provides users with a
stylish container to place their shoes for travel, storage, and
display. This case comes equipped with a handle and a cover that
pops open from the top, sides or back for effortless usage. The
device allows users to protect their shoe collection with a
versatile shoe case.
[0022] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2A-2C, the device includes a
body 10 having a top cover member 12, a handle member 14, a bottom
casing member 16 and an arm member 18. The top cover member and the
bottom casing member are attachably connected forming a housing
shell having an appearance of a pair of conjoined shoes positioned
side-by-side, as depicted in FIG. 1. The bottom casing member
includes an area for the placement of one or more shoes. The handle
member may be made from any suitable materials. In another
embodiment, the handle member converts to a retractable strap.
[0023] The body 10 includes an enclosure which is formed when the
top cover member 12 is closed and is thereby attachably connected
to the bottom casing member 16. The enclosure provides a storage
container for one or more shoes. The external surface of the
housing shell may include ornamentation, such as, for example,
sport themes. Moreover, the housing shell may be made of any
suitable material, such as, for example, plastic.
[0024] The top cover member 12 may operate in a closed mode, which
allows the shoe accessory to function as a storage container or a
traveling container. When functioning as a traveling container, the
handle member 14 allows the container to be transported.
Alternatively, the top cover member may operate in an open mode,
which allows the shoe accessory to operate as a display.
Additionally, when the top cover member is in an open mode, one or
more shoes may be inserted or removed from the placement area of
the bottom casing member 16.
[0025] The top cover member 12 includes one or more hinges 13 for
fixedly attaching one end of the top cover member to the body 10.
The other end of the top cover member is not hinged and thereby
allows the top cover member to selectively open and close any
unhinged end or side of the top cover member.
[0026] The top cover member 12 may open by raising up the unhinged
end of the top cover member away from a front region 15 of the body
10, as depicted in FIG. 2A. The top cover member may open by
raising the unhinged end of the top cover away from the rear region
17 of the body 10, as depicted in FIG. 2B. Moreover, the top cover
member may open by raising up the unhinged side of the top cover
member away from a side region 19 of the body, as depicted in FIG.
2C. The top cover member 12 may also open by raising up the
unhinged end and/or side of the top cover member away from a side
region 19 of the body 10.
[0027] The body 10 includes at least one arm member 18, which is
located inside the enclosure of the body, see FIG. 2A. The at least
one arm member may be positioned to a fully extended position so as
to prop the top cover member 12 open to display the one or more
shoes stored therein. The at least one arm member may be positioned
to a collapsed position thereby closing the top cover member 12.
When the top cover member 12 is closed, the body 10 may provide a
storage container for storing one or more shoes, a traveling
container for transporting the one or more shoes, or both a storing
container and a traveling container.
[0028] The at least one arm member 18 may be any suitable structure
for holding open the top cover member 12 and releasing the top
cover member from an open position, such as, for example, a prop
stick or a bendable mechanical structure. Although the body 10 is
shown with one arm member 18, any number of suitable arm members
may be used.
[0029] In another exemplary embodiment, the body 10 includes
Bluetooth technology, wireless speakers, one or more LED light and
grips on the bottom surface of the body for preventing sliding of
the shoe accessory.
[0030] In another exemplary embodiment, a plurality of
multifunctional shoe accessory devices are stacked on top of one
another forming a shoe display stand, as shown in FIG. 3. Each
multifunctional shoe accessory device has the same configuration
and functionality as the device described above with respect to
FIGS. 1, and 2A-2C.
