Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of
daily necessities, and particularly to a telescopic window curtain
rod with a self-locking function.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In daily life, people often use some curtain rods to hang
window curtains. Specifically, people prefer to use telescopic
window curtain rods when using window curtains because the
telescopic curtain rods may be randomly adjusted in length as
required and may be conveniently installed at the site. A
telescopic rod supported between two opposite sides by adjusting
length through telescoping may be used to hang window curtains or
other articles, and may be widely used in daily life because of
being supported between two opposite sides on the basis of not
damaging window frames (or opposite sides of door frames) and
having the advantages of convenient removing and installing, simple
structure and the like.
[0003] The existing products on the market are mainly divided into
two types, the product of one type has a groove and slide rail
function, but has a single rod, so that such product must be
strictly made according to the size of a window or the distance
between two walls, and is difficult to be in common use. The
product of the other type is telescopic. Products of the same model
may be in common use within a certain length range, for example,
between 36-66 inches. The same product may be applicable depending
on telescopic length. However, at present, all products of this
type have no slide rail, so that circular rings are used to hang
window curtains and then are sleeved outside the tube to achieve
sliding.
[0004] Moreover, the existing telescopic window curtain rod mainly
comprises an inner tube and an outer tube which are movably sleeved
with each other and a spring, wherein the free end of each of the
inner tube and the outer tube is provided with a plug coming into
contact with the wall, one end of the spring is fixedly connected
with the outer tube, the other end thereof is sleeved in the inner
tube, and the inner tube is sleeved in the outer tube. A Chinese
patent with the Patent No. of 94222621.6 provides a stainless steel
telescopic rod, however, one end of a spring thereof is fixedly
arranged on a fixing rod in an outer tube. The assembling procedure
of the fabrication process is relatively complicated, thereby not
being suitable for practical industrial production; moreover, the
plug is simply designed, is not provided with plug holder matching
with the right angle of a window frame (or opposite sides of the
door frame), only can bear light weight, and is easy to slide and
fall off A Chinese patent with the Patent No. of 200620058318.6
provides a self-pressing supporting telescopic rod, however, one
end of a spring thereof is fixedly connected with an outer tube by
pins, and the other end thereof is movably connected with an inner
tube by pins. Similarly, the assembling procedure of the
fabrication process is relatively complicated, thereby not being
suitable for practical industrial production; moreover, the plug is
simply designed, is not provided with plug holder matching with the
right angle of a window frame (or opposite sides of the door
frame), only can bear light weight, and is easy to slide and fall
off In addition, swing may be caused if there is a gap between the
outer tube and the inner tube.
SUMMARY
[0005] To solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention
provides a telescopic window curtain rod with a self-locking
function, which is simple in structure, convenient and practical,
can be freely telescoped and adjusted, and has a self-locking
function.
[0006] To achieve the above purpose, the present invention adopts
the following technical solution:
[0007] A telescopic window curtain rod with a self-locking
function, comprising an outer tube having a hollow inner cavity and
an opening on one side, and an inner tube, wherein the inner tube
may be sleeved in the inner cavity of the outer tube and may slide
in the length direction of the outer tube; springs are clamped
between two sides of one end of the inner tube and a part of the
springs extends out the end surface of the inner tube, an elastic
sheet is tilted between the two springs, one end of the elastic
sheet is fixed on the inner side surface of the inner tube relative
to the opening, and the other end thereof is slanted to the
direction of the opening; the elastic sheet is provided with a
shielding sheet at the distal end away from the end surface of the
inner tube, and the elastic sheet is fixedly connected with the end
surfaces of the springs on both sides.
[0008] The present invention has the principle that the inner tube
may be sleeved in the inner cavity of the outer tube and may slide
leftwards and rightwards in the length direction of the outer tube,
thus achieving telescopic adjustment of the window curtain rod;
unidirectional self-locking between the inner tube and the outer
tube is achieved by the combination between the springs of the end
surface of the inner tube and the elastic sheet, the elastic sheet
is tilted so that the shielding sheet is closely attached to the
inner side surface of the opening of the outer tube, when the
springs are compressed, the elastic sheet and the shielding sheet
are deformed and are closely attached to the inner side surface of
the opening of the outer tube, so that the shielding sheet has a
component of force that is pressed against the inner side surface
of the opening, thereby achieving self-locking; and when the
springs are elongated or are not deformed, each of the elastic
sheet and the shielding sheet has no component of force that is
pressed against the inner side surface of the opening of the outer
tube, thus having no influence on the relative sliding between the
inner tube and outer tube; and when the inner tube is pushed into
the outer tube, the springs are slightly compressed and deformed,
the elastic sheet and the shielding sheet are deformed and are
closely attached to the inner side surface of the opening of the
outer tube, so that the shielding sheet has a component of force
that is pressed against the inner side surface of the opening,
thereby achieving self-locking.
[0009] As improvement of the technical solution, the shielding
sheet is fixedly connected or welded with the elastic sheet
together, spring guide posts are arranged on both sides of the
shielding sheet, and the springs are sleeved on the spring guide
posts.
[0010] As improvement of the technical solution, the cross section
of each of the inner tube and the outer tube is oval, the opening
is provided at the straight edge of the outer tube and the inner
tube, and the outer tube and the inner tube are provided with guide
ribs outwards protruding in the lengthwise direction on both sides
of the opening. Thus, when the inner tube is sleeved in the inner
cavity of the outer tube, the sliding fit between the inner tube
and the outer tube may be guaranteed, and swing may not be caused
while guaranteeing sliding.
[0011] As improvement of the technical solution, the telescopic
window curtain rod also comprises a hanging pendant arranged at the
opening of the outer tube or the inner tube and sliding in the
length direction of the outer tube or the inner tube, the hanging
pendant comprising a lower ear accessory having a through hole and
an upper eardrop having an upper tower, wherein the upper eardrop
is provided with two annular grooves, and the annular grooves are
adapted to the width of the opening of the outer tube or the inner
tube.
[0012] As improvement of the technical solution, the lower ear
accessory is integrated with the upper eardrop.
[0013] As improvement of the technical solution, the telescopic
window curtain rod also comprises a horizontal support, the
horizontal support including a horizontal fixed plate, a horizontal
rod connected below the horizontal fixed plate and a ring support
connected below the horizontal rod and provided with an opening,
wherein the cross-sectional shape of the ring support is adapted to
the outer tube or the cross-sectional shape of the outer tube.
[0014] As improvement of the technical solution, the telescopic
window curtain rod also comprises a vertical support, the vertical
support including a vertical fixed plate, wherein a ring support is
fixedly arranged at the front end of the vertical fixed plate, and
the cross-sectional shape of the ring support is adapted to the
outer tube or the cross-sectional shape of the outer tube.
[0015] As improvement of the technical solution, the telescopic
window curtain rod also comprises decorative rod heads arranged at
both ends, the decorative rod heads including a decorative ball and
a decorative ring connected with the decorative ball, wherein the
decorative ring is annular and is adapted to the cross-sectional
shape of the outer tube or the inner tube.
[0016] Compared with the prior art, the present invention may have
the following advantages and positive effects:
[0017] The telescopic window curtain rod with a self-locking
function of the present invention has a unidirectional self-locking
function while telescopic adjustment is achieved. When the
telescopic window curtain rod is installed in various occasions,
such as different rooms, according to the sizes of the rooms, the
inner tube located in the outer tube is pulled for adjustment. The
length of the whole window curtain rod is adapted to the sizes of
the rooms. After adjustment is completed, because the telescopic
window curtain rod has the unidirectional self-locking function,
the inner tube may not draw back and cause length change of the
window curtain rod. The horizontal support and the vertical support
can realize horizontal connection and fixed connection between the
window curtain rod and the wall, and can guarantee safety and
stability of the window curtain rod. The decorative rod heads are
located at two ends of the window curtain rod and can be butted
against two side surfaces of the room to avoid that the outer tube
or the inner tube is butted against the wall surface.
[0018] Another important function is that, if the product is used
between two planes (such as two walls), tool-free installation may
be realized, and the product is pressed backwards directly through
the unidirectional sliding function of the springs to fix the
product between the two walls through the elasticity of the
springs. The function is mainly used for a shower curtain rod.
Therefore, both ends of the shower curtain rod come into contact
with the walls, and are flat tube caps.
[0019] If the product is used as the window curtain rod, decorative
rod heads are arranged at both ends, while the supports are used as
a fixation mode. There are two kinds of supports. The support with
a post is used for the vertical wall, and needs screws for drilling
and installation. The support with an iron sheet is used for
ceiling installation. Different installation modes are used
according to different needs of customers.

of the end surface of the inner tube 2 and the elastic sheet 4, the
elastic sheet 5 is tilted so that the shielding sheet 5 is closely
attached to the inner side surface of the opening of the outer tube
1, when the springs 3 are compressed, the elastic sheet 4 and the
shielding sheet 5 are deformed and are closely attached to the
inner side surface of the opening of the outer tube 1, so that the
shielding sheet 5 has a component of force that is pressed against
the inner side surface of the opening, thereby achieving
self-locking; and when the springs 3 are elongated or are not
deformed, each of the elastic sheet 4 and the shielding sheet 5 has
no component of force that is pressed against the inner side
surface of the opening of the outer tube, thus having no influence
on the relative sliding between the inner tube 3 and the outer tube
