DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0026] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1 and 2, a
cycle exercising device in accordance with the preferred embodiment
of the present invention comprises a base 10 having an interior
provided with a receiving space 12, and a cycle movement mechanism
20 received in the receiving space 12 of the base 10.
[0027] The base 10 is provided with an electronic instrument 11.
The base 10 has two open sides connected to the receiving space 12.
The base 10 has an open end connected to the receiving space
12.
[0028] The cycle movement mechanism 20 is provided with two tread
(or pedal) portions 21 protruding outward from the two open sides
of the base 10. The two tread portions 21 are rotated along a
circular path (or orbit or track). The cycle movement mechanism 20
is provided with a pull handle 22 protruding outward from the open
end of the base 10.
[0029] Referring to FIGS. 3-6, the receiving space 12 of the base
10 has a transverse length greater that of the cycle movement
mechanism 20, such that the cycle movement mechanism 20 is movable
forward or backward in the receiving space 12 of the base 10. The
cycle exercising device further comprises corresponding tracks 14
mounted between the cycle movement mechanism 20 and the receiving
space 12 of the base 10 to guide movement of the cycle movement
mechanism 20 in the receiving space 12.
[0030] In use, referring to FIGS. 5 and 6 with reference to FIGS. 3
and 4, the cycle exercising device is placed in front of a chair as
shown in FIG. 5. In such a manner, the user is seated on the chair,
with his/her two feet stepping on the two tread portions 21, so as
to perform a cycle movement successively. At this time, the cycle
movement mechanism 20 is moved forward and backward in the
receiving space 12 of the base 10, to facilitate the user adjusting
the stepping distance, thereby providing a comfortable sensation to
the user, and thereby enhancing the exercising effect. When not in
use, the cycle exercising device is put into the chair and stored
under the chair as shown in FIG. 6, thereby facilitating the user
storing the cycle exercising device.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 7, the cycle exercising device further
comprises a cushion (or seat) 30 mounted on the top portion 101 of
the base 10, such that the cycle exercising device functions as a
low chair.
[0032] Referring to FIG. 8, the cycle exercising device further
comprises an upright post 40 mounted on the top portion 101 of the
base 10, and a seat 50 mounted on the upright post 40, such that
the cycle exercising device functions as a high chair.
[0033] Referring to FIG. 9, the cycle exercising device further
comprises an upright post 40 mounted on the top portion 101 of the
base 10, and a table board 60 mounted on the upright post 40, such
that the cycle exercising device functions as a table.
[0034] Accordingly, the cycle exercising device is stored when not
in use, to largely reduce the space of storage. In addition, the
cycle exercising device is stored easily and conveniently, thereby
facilitating the user storing the cycle exercising device. Further,
the cycle exercising device is changed into furniture of different
types, thereby enhancing the diversity and utility thereof, and
thereby increasing the amusement of life and exercise. Further, the
cycle exercising device is adapted to function as furniture, such
that the cycle exercising device is incorporated into the house
environment, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the
house.
[0035] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its
preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood
that many other possible modifications and variations can be made
without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is,
therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will
cover such modifications and variations that fall within the scope
of the invention.
