[0001] This is the U.S. National Stage of International Application No. PCT/CN2018/081111 filed on Mar. 29, 2018, which in turn claims the benefit of Chinese Application No. 201720332454.8, filed on Mar. 30, 2017 all of which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The disclosure relates to a zipper, and in particular, to a water-resistant zipper.

[0003] A water-resistant zipper is popular since liquid can be prevented from passing through the zipper and the water-resistant zipper plays a water-resistant sealing role. The water-resistant zipper mainly relies on a water-resistant layer disposed on a base tape to achieve the water-resistant sealing effect. In general, zipper teeth are first connected to a base tape during processing of the water-resistant zipper, and then the base tape is provided with a water-resistant layer. When the water-resistant zipper is processed using this method, it is difficult for the water-resistant layer to completely cover the base tape due to the influence of the installed zipper teeth. Especially due to gaps between the zipper teeth on the base tape, it is difficult for the water-resistant layer to cover the base tapes at these gaps, so that the water-resistant effect of the zipper is poor, and it is also troublesome to process the water-resistant layer.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] In order to solve the above problems, the disclosure provides a water-resistant zipper which is convenient to process and has a good water-resistant effect.

[0010] Preferably, the zipper teeth are formed on the zipper tape by injection molding.

[0011] Preferably, the zipper tape has longitudinal fixed through holes, and each of the zipper teeth has a reinforcing portion filling a respective one of the fixed through holes.

[0012] Preferably, each of the fixed through holes is in a diamond shape or a square shape.

[0013] Preferably, each of the zipper teeth is provided with a boss, and the boss abuts against a respective one of the zipper tapes.

[0014] Preferably, the water-resistant layer is coated with a fluorescent layer or a reflective layer.

[0015] The inner side of each of the zipper tapes is provided with an elastic tape edge.

[0016] The disclosure has the following beneficial effects: in the disclosure, the zipper teeth are disposed on the water-resistant layer, that is, the water-resistant layer is disposed on the base tape, and then the zipper teeth are disposed on the water-resistant layer. The water-resistant zipper using the structure is simple to process and good in water-resistant effect.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0017] The disclosure will be further described below in conjunction with accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0018] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of an overall structure of the disclosure;

[0019] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a cross section of the disclosure;

[0020] FIG. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of zipper teeth of the disclosure; and

[0021] FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of a cross section of another embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the disclosure relates to a water-resistant zipper including two zipper tapes 2 and two groups of zipper teeth 1 respectively disposed on the two zipper tapes 2. The zipper tape 2 includes a base tape 21 and a water-resistant layer 22 covering the base tape 21; that is, the zipper teeth 1 are located on the water-resistant layer 22. For the water-resistant zipper of the disclosure, the water-resistant layer 22 is first disposed on the base tape 21 during processing, and then the zipper teeth 1 are disposed on the water-resistant layer 22. The arrangement of the water-resistant layer 22 is not affected by the zipper teeth 1, and the water-resistant layer 22 can easily cover the whole base tape 21. The water-resistant zipper of the disclosure is simple to process and good in water-resistant effect.

[0023] Ends of the two zipper tapes 2 are connected together. The ends of the two zipper tapes 2 can be sewn together by means of a sewing machine and the joint is covered with a sealant, or the ends of the two zipper tapes 2 can be connected by injection molding, so that the end of the zipper can be well sealed to prevent liquid from passing through the end of the zipper.

[0024] The end of the zipper tape 2 has an accommodating cavity 23 for accommodating a zipper slider. When the zipper slider is mounted on the zipper and the zipper slider is moved to the end of the zipper tape 2, the zipper slider is located in the accommodating cavity 23. There is no gap between the zipper slider and the zipper tape 2 to ensure the water-resistant sealing effect, and the zipper is simple in structure and attractive in appearance.

[0025] A mounting groove in communication with front and rear end faces of the zipper tooth 1 is formed on the inner side of the zipper tooth 1, and the inner sides of the zipper tapes 2 extend into the mounting grooves so that after the zipper teeth 1 on the two zipper tapes 2 mesh with each other, the inner sides of the two zipper tape 2 can be closely attached together to form a combined sealing layer that prevents liquid from passing through the zipper.

[0026] In the disclosure, the zipper teeth 1 are formed on the zipper tape 2 by injection molding. The zipper tape 2 has a longitudinal fixed through hole, and the fixed through hole is filled with melt when the zipper tooth 1 is formed by injection molding, so that the finally shaped zipper tooth 1 has a reinforcing portion filling the fixed through hole 12. The reinforcing portion 12 can make the connection between the zipper teeth 1 and the zipper tape 2 stronger. Preferably, the fixed through hole is in a diamond shape or a square shape, that is, the cross section of the reinforcing portion 12 is also in a diamond shape or a square shape. Compared with the circular fixed through hole, the diamond or square fixed through hole can avoid the torsion motion of the zipper tooth 1 relative to the zipper tape 2, which greatly enhances the bonding force between the zipper tooth 1 and the zipper tape 2, and moreover, the separation of the water-resistant layer 22 from the base tape 21 caused by the torsion of the zipper tooth 1 can be avoided, the compactness of the water-resistant layer 22 and the base tape 21 combined with each other is enhanced, and the original air tightness of the disclosure is improved simply and effectively.

[0027] The zipper tooth 1 is provided with a boss 11, and the boss 11 abuts against the zipper tape 2. The boss 11 can increase the contact area between the zipper tooth 1 and the zipper tape 2, making the connection between the zipper tooth 1 and the zipper tape 2 stronger. In addition, the boss 11 also has a limiting function. After the zipper teeth 1 on the two zipper tapes 2 mesh with each other, the boss 11 on one zipper tape 2 abuts against the zipper teeth 1 on the other zipper tape 2, thereby limiting the longitudinal relative movement of the two groups of zipper teeth 1 on the two zipper tapes 2.

[0028] The surface of the water-resistant layer 22 is coated with a fluorescent layer or a reflective layer. In this way, the zipper is more striking and attractive at night, enhancing the roles of warning and decoration, helping users to understand the opening and closing of the zipper, and helping users to find the zipper in the dark.

[0029] Further, referring to FIG. 4, in another embodiment of the disclosure, the inner side of the zipper tape 2 is provided with an elastic tape edge 3, and the elastic tape edge 3 itself is elastically deformable, so that the two zipper tapes 2 can be closely attached to avoid the existence of gaps between the two zipper tapes 2 and further improve the water-resistant sealing effect. The elastic tape edge 3 and the water-resistant layer 22 are made of different colors or materials to make the zipper tape 2 more attractive.

[0030] The above embodiments are merely preferred embodiments of the disclosure, and other embodiments of the disclosure are possible. Equivalent variations or substitutions may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the principle of the disclosure, and such equivalent variations or substitutions fall within the scope set by the claims of the present application.

[0031] It is understood that while certain aspects of the disclosed subject matter have been shown and described, the disclosed subject matter is not limited thereto and encompasses various other embodiments and aspects. No specific limitation with respect to the specific embodiments disclosed herein is intended or should be inferred. Modifications may be made to the disclosed subject matter as set forth in the following claims.
