FOOD CONTAINER

Abstract

The present invention relates to a food container identical to a weight plate for users such as, but not limited to, gym-goers, athletes, and sport players. The container comprises a base with an edge. The base includes a bottom surface. A continuous wall upwardly extends from the edge of the base to form a food receiving portion with an open end. The bottom surface of the base further includes one or more partition walls, which extends from a top surface of the base dividing the food receiving portion into one or more storage sections. The food receiving portions are configured to store items. The container comprises a lid, which is designed to releasably engage with the open end of the container to cover the food receiving portion. The bottom portion of the base and the lid comprises a shape of a weight plate that is used in a gym.

Claims



1. A food container for storing food, comprising: a base with an edge, wherein the base comprises a bottom surface having a shape a weight plate; a continuous wall extends upwardly from the edge of the base to form a food receiving portion with an open end; one or more partition walls extend from a top surface of the base dividing the food receiving portion into one or more storage section, wherein the storage sections are configured to store food products, and a lid configured to cover the open end of the food receiving portion.

2. The container of claim 1, made of a silicone material.

3. The container of claim 1, made of a plastic material.

4. The container of claim 1, made of a metallic material.

5. The container of claim 1, wherein the bottom surface of the base includes a weight mark.

6. The container of claim 1, wherein the lid comprises a shape of the weight plate.

7. The container of claim 1, wherein the lid is at least one or combination of a snap-on removable lid, slidable removable lid, or any fastener lid.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A. Technical Field

[0002] The invention disclosed herein generally relates to a container. More particularly, the invention disclosed herein relates to a food container identical to a weight plate for users such as, but not limited to, gym-goers, athletes, and sport players.

B. Description of Related Art

[0003] Exercise is an activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health. It is often suggested that a person should exercise for 30 minutes at least three times a week. Gyms are popular places for people to work out. Despite the well-known benefits of exercise, a proper nutrient-rich food is important before, during, and after exercise.

[0004] Most exercisers carry pre-made food throughout the day to maintain calories. specifically, during preparation for a fitness competition it is very common to see a contestant have his or her meals pre-made and put in a container. They usually have several meals pre-made in multiple containers that they eat from throughout the day to maintain calorie intake. This is ideal because eating out every day is expensive but also can be detrimental to a user due to lack of access to specific needed quality nutrition.

[0005] Therefore, there is a need to provide an easily portable food container for storing items, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, a protein powder. There is also a need to provide a food container identical to a weight plate for users such as, but not limited to, gym-goers, athletes, and sport players to represent the user's passion for fitness.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The present invention relates to a container or storage apparatus. More particularly, the invention disclosed herein relates to a food container identical to a weight plate for users such as, but not limited to, gym-goers, athletes, and sport players.

[0007] According to the present invention, the container is configured to store items, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, and protein powder. In one embodiment, the container could be a meal prep container. The container is designed to represent the user's passion for fitness. In one embodiment, the container is made of a material, but not limited to, plastic. In some embodiments, the container is made of a material, but not limited to, a silicone material and a metallic material.

[0008] In one embodiment, the container comprises a base with an edge. In one embodiment, a continuous wall upwardly extends from the edge of the base to form a food receiving portion with an open end. In one embodiment, one or more partition walls extend from a top surface of the base dividing the food receiving portion into one or more storage sections. The food receiving portions are configured to store items, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, and protein powder. In one embodiment, the container further comprises a lid. The lid is configured to cover the open end of the food receiving portion. In one embodiment, the lid is designed to releasably engage with the open end.

[0009] In one embodiment, the bottom portion of the base comprises a shape of a weight plate that is used in a gym. In one embodiment, the lid is a snap-on removable lid. The lid includes an upper and a lower surface. In one embodiment, the upper surface of the lid further includes weight numbers. The weight marks on the lid indicate the size of the container. In one embodiment, the lid comprises a shape of the weight plate. The container is an ideal device to improve the appearance of the user such as, but not limited to, gym goers, athletes, and sport players. The container provides a compelling user experience.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0018] A description of embodiments of the present invention will now be given with reference to the Figures. It is expected that the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from its spirit or essential characteristics. The described embodiments are to be considered in all respects only as illustrative and not restrictive.

[0019] Referring to FIG. 1, a perspective view of a food container 100 used for storing items is disclosed. In one embodiment, the container 100 is configured to store items including, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, and a protein powder. In one embodiment, the container 100 could be a meal prep container. The container 100 is designed to represent the user's passion for fitness. In one embodiment, the container 100 is made of a material, but not limited to, a plastic material. In some embodiments, the container 100 is made of a material, but not limited to, a silicone material and a metallic material.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 2, the container 100 comprises a base 102 (shown in FIG. 3) with an edge. In one embodiment, a continuous wall 106 upwardly extends from the edge of the base 102 (shown in FIG. 3) to form food receiving portion (108, 110 and 112) with an open end. In one embodiment, one or more partition walls (114 and 116) extends from a top surface of the base 102 (shown in FIG. 3) dividing the food receiving portion into one or more storage sections. The food receiving portions (108, 110 and 112) are configured to store items, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, a protein powder. In one embodiment, the container 100 further comprises a lid 118. The lid 118 is configured to cover the open end of the food receiving portion. In one embodiment, the lid 118 is designed to releasably engage with the open end of the container 100. In one embodiment, the container 100 further includes a handle 122. In one embodiment, the handle 122 includes a gripping means that provides a convenient gripping for the user to lift and hold the container 100.

[0021] Referring to FIG. 3, the bottom portion of the base 102 comprises a shape of a weight plate that is used in a gym. In one embodiment, one side of the bottom portion of the base 102 is marked with weights, for example, but not limited to, 35 lbs (15 kg), 45 lbs and 2.5 lbs. The weight numbers indicate the size of the container 100. In an exemplary embodiment, the container 100 could be a small container, which includes 2.5 lbs (1 kg) weight mark at the bottom portion. In another embodiment, the bottom portion of the base 102 may not be having weight marks or stamps.

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 4A-4B, the lid 118 is a snap-on removable lid. The lid 118 includes an upper and a lower surface. In one embodiment, the upper surface of the lid 118 further includes weight numbers. The weight marks on the lid 118 indicate the size of the container 100. In one embodiment, the lid 118 comprises a shape of the weight plate. The lid 118 could be securely clasped to the wall 106 to cover the open end of the food receiving portion of the device. The container 100 is an ideal device to improve the appearance of the users such as, but not limited to, gym goers, athletes, and sport players. The container 100 provides a compelling user experience and could be reused conveniently. In another embodiment, the lid 118 could be a slidable lid. In further another embodiment, the lid 118 could be secured to the wall 106 via fasteners, but not limited to, screws.

[0023] Referring to FIG. 5, the bottom portion of the base 102 includes a plurality of slots 120. In one embodiment, the plurality of slots 120 could extend upwardly from the bottom of the base 102. In one embodiment, the plurality of slots 120 are adapted to snap fit into the bottom portion of the container 100. The plurality of slots 120 are configured to receive items could be, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, and protein power. In one embodiment, the plurality of slots 120 is slidably adjustable within the bottom portion of the container 100. In another embodiment, the bottom portion of the container 100 includes an open end, so the user could customize the food storage section by adjusting the plurality of slots 120.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 6, the stacked configuration of the plurality of containers connected each other, is illustrated. In one embodiment, the user could connect one container 100 to another container for carrying bulk items, for example, but not limited to, pre-made food products, medicine, and protein powder, thereby, the user could easily carry multiple containers without any effort. In another embodiment, the plurality of containers could snap tightly one on the other.
