Abstract

A cold drink pack that provides consumers with an independent plastic drink container that they take with them anywhere on the go. The cold drink pack includes a drinking container containing a cold drink, one or more cold chemical icepacks disposed on each one or more interior walls of the drinking container, a drinking stem extending from a top middle portion of the drinking container to prevent spilling the cold drink contained within the drinking container while drinking the cold drink, a vent stem and a cap adapted to be placed over the drinking stem to contain the cold drink within the drinking container. The cold drink pack has one or more cold chemical icepacks that each have an insulated outer wall to retain cold within the drinking container and a non-insulated inner wall to promote chilling the cold drink contained within the drinking container.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the Invention

[0001] The present invention is a drink container. More specifically, the present invention is a self-contained, single-use, disposable and recyclable cold drink container.

Description of the Related Art

[0002] Conventionally, the only way to keep beverages cold is through the use of heavy coolers with ice placed inside of them. Carrying these types of coolers around all day may be very tiresome since they typically have to be re-filled with fresh ice periodically, as the ice gradually melts leaving a puddle of water inside the containers. Also in remote locations like when biking, hiking, on military patrol, while traveling throughout the world where other means would be unobtainable.

[0003] What is needed is a cold drink pack that provide consumers with an independent plastic drink container that they may take with them anywhere on the go. The cold drink pack is single-use, disposable, recyclable and becomes instantly cold when squeezed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention is a drink container. More specifically, the present invention is a self-contained, single-use, disposable and recyclable cold drink container.

[0005] The cold drink pack includes a drinking container containing a cold drink, one or more cold chemical icepacks disposed on each one or more interior walls of the drinking container, a drinking stem extending from a top middle portion of the drinking container to prevent spilling the cold drink contained within the drinking container while drinking the cold drink, a cap adapted to be placed over the drinking stem to contain the cold drink within the drinking container and a vent stem facilitating flow of the cold drink.

[0006] It is an object of the present invention to provide a cold drink pack that is made from recycled plastic that is completely ecofriendly.

[0007] It is an object of the present invention to provide a cold drink pack that includes a threaded cap with a tamperproof seal for added sustainability and convenience.

[0008] It is an object of the present invention to provide a cold drink pack that is available in standard sizes that may include a 6-ounce drinking container, a 12-ounce drinking container as well as other size containers.

[0009] It is an object of the present invention to provide a cold drink pack that would be well suited to hold cocktails, soft drinks, juices, champagne, wine coolers, iced tea, or iced coffee or any desired beverage so chosen.

[0010] It is an object of the present invention to provide a cold drink pack that may be stored at room temperature until it is squeezed and then becomes instantly cold.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

The cold drink pack 100 may come in approximate 6-ounce sizes to contain cocktails selected from the group consisting of scotch, mixed drinks, hard liquor or other suitable cocktails or in approximate 12-ounce sizes to contain a drink selected from the group consisting of a soft drink, a juice, champagne, a wine cooler, iced tea, iced coffee or other suitable cold drink. Other sizes will be made available as demand requires.

[0018] The cold drink pack 100 may include a drinking container 110, one or more cold chemical icepacks 120, a drinking stem 130, a cap 140 and a vent stem 150.

[0019] The drinking container 110 may contain a cold drink 112 such as a cocktail, a soft drink, a type of juice such as orange juice, grape juice or a fruit juice, champagne, a wine cooler, iced tea, iced coffee or other suitable cold drink. The cold drink pack 100 may provide a cold drink 112 without utilizing a cooler or ice. The drinking container 110 may be made of plastic such as transparent plastic to see the cold drink contained within the drinking container or non-transparent plastic or other suitable material. The one or more cold chemical icepacks 120 may each be disposed on each one or more interior walls 110A of the drinking container 110. The one or more cold chemical icepacks 120 may be adapted to be broken by snapping or squeezing the drinking container 110 to freeze the one or more cold chemical icepacks 120, thereby chilling the cold drink 112 contained in the drinking container 110. The one or more cold chemical icepacks 120 may each have an insulated outer wall 120A to retain cold within the drinking container 110 to also insulate the holder's hand from cold and a non-insulated inner wall 120B to promote chilling the cold drink 112 contained within the drinking container 110. FIG. 1 illustrates 1 one or more cold chemical icepacks 120. The drinking stem 130 may extend from a top middle 110B or off-center portion (not shown) of the drinking container 110 to prevent spilling the cold drink 112 contained within the drinking container 110 while drinking the cold drink 112. The cap 140 may be adapted to be placed over the drinking stem 130 to contain the cold drink 112 within the drinking container 110. The cap 140 may be a threaded cap 140A and have a tamperproof seal 142 to indicate that the cold drink pack 100 has not been opened or tampered with. The vent stem 150 may facilitate flow of the cold drink 112.

[0021] The inner drinking container 110 may include a first outermost plastic layer 111, a second outermost insulation layer 112A, a third outermost insulation layer 113, a fourth outermost plastic container layer 114, an optional fifth outermost insulation layer 115, a double drinking stem 135 and a pair of the caps 140.

[0022] The first outermost plastic layer 111 may typically be approximately twice as thick as the drinking container 110 thickness. The second outermost insulation layer 112A may be sprayed on insulation with glue with an approximate thickness of 1/8 inch or less. The third outermost insulation layer 113 may be approximately 3 mm thick. The fourth outermost plastic container layer 114 may be filled with a non-toxic substance and more specifically may be filled with a plurality of urea crystals. The double drinking stem 135 may include a first straw 135A and a second straw 135B. The first straw 135A may be for ventilating. The second straw 135B may be for ventilating. The first straw 135A is longer than the second straw 135B.

[0023] The pair of caps 140 may each be adapted to be placed over the longer straw 135A and the shorter straw 135B to contain the cold drink 112 within the drinking container 110.

Claims

1. A cold drink pack, comprising: a drinking container containing a cold drink; one or more cold chemical icepacks disposed on each one or more interior walls of the drinking container; a drinking stem extending from a top middle portion of the drinking container to prevent spilling the cold drink contained within the drinking container while drinking the cold drink; a cap adapted to be placed over the drinking stem to contain the cold drink within the drinking container; and a vent stem facilitating flow of the cold drink.

2. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the drinking container provides the cold drink without utilizing a cooler or ice.

3. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the drinking container include a first outermost plastic layer, a second outermost insulation layer, a third outermost insulation layer, a fourth outermost plastic container layer and an optional fifth outermost insulation layer.

4. The cold drink pack according to claim 3, wherein the second outermost insulation layer is sprayed on insulation with glue with a thickness of 1/8 inch or less.

5. The cold drink pack according to claim 3, wherein the third outermost insulation layer is 3 mm thick.

6. The cold drink pack according to claim 3, wherein the fourth outermost plastic container layer is filled with a non-toxic substance.

7. The cold drink pack according to claim 6, wherein the fourth outermost plastic container layer is filled with urea crystals.

8. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the one or more cold chemical icepacks are adapted to be broken by snapping or squeezing the drinking container to freeze the one or more cold chemical icepacks, thereby chilling the cold drink contained in the drinking container.

The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the one or more cold chemical icepacks each have an insulated outer wall to retain cold within the drinking container to insulate a holder's hand from cold and a non-insulated inner wall to promote chilling the cold drink contained within the drinking container.

10. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the drinking stem is a double drinking stem.

11. The cold drink pack according to claim 10, wherein the double drinking stem includes a first straw or drinking and a second straw for ventilating.

12. The cold drink pack according to claim 11, wherein the first straw for drinking is longer than the second straw for ventilating.

13. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the cap is a threaded cap.

14. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the cap has a tamperproof seal to indicate that the cold drink pack has been opened or tampered with.

15. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the cold drink pack comes in a 6-ounce size to contain a cocktail selected from the group consisting of scotch, mixed drinks or hard liquor.

16. The cold drink pack according to claim 1, wherein the cold drink pack comes in a 12-ounce size to contain a drink selected from the group consisting of a soft drink, a juice, champagne, a wine cooler, iced tea or iced coffee.
