Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a carrier and, more
particularly, to a luggage for placing personal items.
2. Description of the Related Art
[0002] A luggage comprises a luggage body and a substantially
inverted U-shaped handle assembly mounted on the luggage body. The
handle assembly is pulled to extend outward from the luggage body
to facilitate the user carrying the luggage. In addition, the
handle assembly is retracted into the luggage body when not in use
to facilitate storage and transportation of the luggage. However,
the handle assembly occupies a determined space of the luggage
body, thereby causing inconvenience to the user when arranging
personal items in the luggage body.
[0003] A first conventional luggage 30 in accordance with the prior
art shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a luggage body 32 and a
substantially inverted U-shaped handle assembly mounted on the
luggage body 32. The handle assembly includes two pull bars 31
mounted on two sides of an interior of the luggage body 32.
However, the distance between the two pull bars 31 (or the width of
the handle assembly) has to correspond to the width of the interior
of the luggage body 32, so that the distance between the two pull
bars 31 has a larger dimension. Thus, the distance between the two
pull bars 31 is too long so that the two pull bars 31 cannot be
pulled out of or retracted into the luggage body 32 smoothly and
conveniently, thereby causing inconvenience to the user when
operating the two pull bars 31.
[0004] A second conventional luggage 40 in accordance with the
prior art shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 comprises a luggage body 42 and a
substantially inverted U-shaped handle assembly mounted on the
luggage body 42. The handle assembly includes two pull bars 41
mounted on two sides of an exterior of the luggage body 42.
However, the distance between the two pull bars 41 (or the width of
the handle assembly) has to correspond to the width of the exterior
of the luggage body 42, so that the distance between the two pull
bars 41 has a larger dimension. Thus, the distance between the two
pull bars 41 is too long so that the two pull bars 41 cannot be
pulled out of or retracted into the luggage body 42 smoothly and
conveniently, thereby causing inconvenience to the user when
operating the two pull bars 41.
