DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0032] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in
detail below and examples of the embodiments are shown in the
drawings. The embodiments described herein with reference to
drawings are explanatory, illustrative, and used to generally
understand the present invention. The embodiments shall not be
construed to limit the present invention.
[0033] With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a heat pump module 100 of a
laundry treatment device 200 according to embodiments of the
present invention is described.
[0034] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the heat pump module 100 of the
laundry treatment device 200 according to embodiments of the
present invention may include: a base 1, a top cover 2 and a
compressor.
[0035] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, an upper surface 11 of the
base 1 is depressed downwards to form a first receiving trough 13,
the top cover 2 is disposed on the base 1 to cover the first
receiving trough 13, and a compressor is imbedded in the first
receiving trough 13. It should be understood that, the compressor
may be limited in the depression (i.e., the first receiving trough
13) by depressing the upper surface 11 of the base 1 downwards. On
one hand, it is easy to fix the compressor and on the other hand,
it is also possible to reduce the height of the projection of the
compressor from the upper surface 11 of the base 1, so that a
distance between the base 1 and the top cover 2 may be shortened,
and thus the structure of the heat pump module 100 may be more
compact and reasonable.
[0036] In the heat pump module 100 of the laundry treatment device
200 according to embodiments of the present invention, because the
upper surface 11 of the base 1 is depressed downwards to form the
first receiving trough 13, the compressor may be imbedded in the
first receiving trough 13. Therefore, it is easy to fix the
compressor and it is also possible to reduce the height of the
projection of the compressor from the upper surface 11 of the base
1, so that a distance between the base 1 and the top cover 2 may be
shortened, and thus the structure of the heat pump module 100 may
be more compact and reasonable.
[0037] In one embodiment of the present invention, a part of a
peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13 is protruded from
a lower surface 12 of the base 1, and the part of the peripheral
wall of the first receiving trough 13 protruded from the lower
surface 12 of the base 1 is located in the laundry treatment device
200, so that the height of the whole laundry treatment device 200
may be reduced and the structure of the laundry treatment device
200 may be more compact and reasonable, so that the appearance of
the laundry treatment device 200 may be more aesthetic.
[0038] In some embodiments of the present invention, a plurality of
reinforcing ribs 14 are disposed at a peripheral wall of the first
receiving trough 13 and spaced apart from each other, and thus
materials used may be saved and the strength of the structure of
the receiving trough may be guaranteed. For example, as shown in
FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the reinforcing rib 14 is in a shape of plate
and extends along a semicircular arc. A plurality of reinforcing
ribs 14 are distributed along the central axis of the compressor
and spaced apart from each other.
[0039] Furthermore, an end of the reinforcing rib 14 extends to a
lower surface 12 of the base 1, thus further improving the strength
of the receiving trough. For example, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG.
2, a plurality of reinforcing ribs 14 are disposed at a peripheral
wall of the first receiving trough 13 and spaced apart from each
other, and both ends of each of the reinforcing ribs 14 extend to
the lower surface 12 of the base 1. In some embodiments of the
present invention, the reinforcing rib 14 may be formed with the
base 1 integrally.
[0040] In some embodiments of the present invention, a second
receiving trough 21 is disposed on a lower surface of the top cover
2, a mounting chamber is defined by the first receiving trough 13
and the second receiving trough 21, and the compressor is disposed
in the mounting chamber. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the first
receiving trough 13 with a shape of half of a cylinder is disposed
on the upper surface 11 of the base 1 and the second receiving
trough 21 with a shape of half of a cylinder is disposed on the
lower surface of the top cover 2. The mounting chamber is defined
by the first receiving trough 13 and the second receiving trough
21. Thus, a compressor with a cylindrical shape may be mounted in
the mounting chamber steadily.
[0041] In some embodiments of the present invention, a contour line
of a cross section of the mounting chamber is circular so as to
facilitate the installation of the compressor. As shown in
embodiments in FIG. 3, the first receiving trough 13 is configured
as a half of a cylinder and the second receiving trough 21 is
configured as a half of a cylinder. The mounting chamber is defined
by the first receiving trough 13 and the second receiving trough
21, and the contour line of the cross section of the mounting
chamber is circular. Meanwhile, the peripheral wall of the
semicircular first receiving trough 13 protruded from the lower
surface 12 of the base 1 may be received in the laundry treatment
device 200, so that the height of the whole laundry treatment
device 200 may be reduced, and the laundry treatment device 200 may
be more compact and aesthetic.
[0042] In one embodiment of the present invention, a part of a
peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13 is protruded from
a lower surface 12 of the base 1 and disposed in the laundry
treatment device 200. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the laundry
treatment device 200 includes a cabinet 3 and the heat pump module
100 is disposed on a top of the cabinet 3. A part of the peripheral
wall of the first receiving trough 13 protruded from the lower
surface 12 of the base 1 may be disposed in the cabinet 3, so that
the height of the whole laundry treatment device 200 may be
reduced, and the laundry treatment device 200 may be more compact
and aesthetic.
[0043] In one embodiment of the present invention, a distance
between a lowest point of the peripheral wall of the first
receiving trough 13 and a datum plane m of an inner top wall of the
laundry treatment device 200 is in a range of 0 to 200 mm, i.e.
0.ltoreq.H.ltoreq.200 mm. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the datum
plane described herein may refer to a datum plane designed for the
inner top wall of the cabinet 3 of the laundry treatment device
200. As a result from tests, when H is in a range of 10 to 100 mm,
i.e. 10.ltoreq.H.ltoreq.100 mm, an effective inner space of the
laundry treatment device 200 may be guaranteed and the height of
the laundry treatment device 200 may also be reduced, so that the
structure of the laundry treatment device 200 is compact and
aesthetic.
[0044] With reference to FIGS. 1-3, the heat pump module 100 of the
laundry treatment device 200 according to the present invention may
be described in detail in one specific embodiment. Specifically,
the laundry treatment device 200 includes a cabinet 3, and the heat
pump module 100 may be disposed on a top of the cabinet 3. It
should be understood that, the following description may only be
illustrative and should not be a specific restriction of the
present invention.
[0045] As shown in FIG. 1, the heat pump module 100 of the laundry
treatment device 200 according to embodiments of the present
invention includes a base 1, a top cover 2 and a compressor.
Specifically, an upper surface 11 of the base 1 is depressed
downwards to form a first receiving trough 13, a lower surface of
the top cover 2 is provided with a second receiving trough 21 and a
mounting chamber is defined by the first receiving trough 13 and
the second receiving trough 21. The compressor is disposed in the
mounting chamber and a contour line of a cross section of the
mounting chamber is circular, as shown in FIG. 3.
[0046] A part of a peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13
is protruded from a lower surface 12 of the base 1 and the part of
the first receiving trough 13 protruded from the lower surface 12
of the base 1 is disposed in the inner space of the laundry
treatment device 200, so that the height of the laundry treatment
device 200 may also be reduced, so that the structure of the
laundry treatment device 200 is compact and aesthetic. A plurality
of reinforcing ribs 14 are disposed at the peripheral wall of the
first receiving trough 13 and spaced apart from each other, an end
of the reinforcing rib 14 extends to the lower surface 12 of the
base 1.
[0047] A distance H between a lowest point of the peripheral wall
of the first receiving trough 13 and a datum plane m of the inner
top wall of the cabinet 3 is in a range of 0 to 200 mm, i.e.
0.ltoreq.H.ltoreq.200 mm. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the datum
plane refers to the inner top wall of the cabinet 3 of the laundry
treatment device 200, which is parallel to the lower surface 12 of
the base 1. As a result from tests, when H is in a range of 10 to

the laundry treatment device 200 may be guaranteed and the height
of the laundry treatment device 200 may also be reduced, so that
the structure of the laundry treatment device 200 is compact and
aesthetic.
[0048] Therefore, by forming the first receiving trough 13
depressed downwards from the upper surface 11 of the base 1, a
compressor is imbedded in the first receiving trough 13. Thus, it
is easy to fix the compressor and it is also possible to reduce the
height of the projection of the compressor from the base 1, so that
a distance between the base 1 and the top cover 2 may be shortened,
and thus the structure of the heat pump module 100 may be more
compact and reasonable.
[0049] The laundry treatment device 200 according to embodiments of
the present invention includes: a cabinet 3, a tub component and
the heat pump module 100 of the laundry treatment device 100

disposed at the top side of the cabinet in an overhead manner, thus
improving the availability of the space of the cabinet 3 and
simplifying the assembly procedure of the laundry treatment device
200 so as to shorten the production cycle of the laundry treatment
device 200. On the other hand, the compressor is imbedded in the
cabinet 3 in the sunken manner, so that the height of the whole
laundry treatment device 200 may be reduced and the structure of
the laundry treatment device 200 may be more compact and
reasonable, and thus the appearance of the laundry treatment device
200 may be more aesthetic.
[0052] In one embodiment of the present invention, the cabinet 3
has a top wall, the compressor of the heat pump module 100 has a
bottom, and when the heat pump module 100 is disposed at the top

it is easy to fix the compressor and it is also possible to reduce
the height of the projection of the compressor from the upper
surface 11 of the base 1, so that a distance between the base 1 and
the top cover 2 may be shortened, and thus the structure of the
heat pump module 100 may be more compact and reasonable.
[0054] In one embodiment of the present invention, a part of a
peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13 is protruded from
a lower surface 12 of the base 1 and disposed in the cabinet 3. As
shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the part of the first receiving trough
13 protruded from the lower surface 12 of the base 1 is disposed in
the cabinet 3, so that the height of the whole laundry treatment
device 200 may be reduced and the laundry treatment device 200 may
be more compact and aesthetic.
[0055] In one embodiment of the present invention, a distance H
between a lowest point of the peripheral wall of the first

top cover 2. An upper surface 11 of the base 1 may be depressed
downwards to form a first receiving trough 13, and a top cover 2 is
disposed on the base 1 to cover the first receiving trough 13 and
the compressor is imbedded in the first receiving trough 13. A part
of a peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13 is protruded
from a lower surface 12 of the base 1 and a plurality of
reinforcing ribs 14 are disposed at the peripheral wall of the
first receiving trough 13 and spaced apart from each other, and an
end of the reinforcing rib 14 extends to the lower surface 12 of
the base 1. A second receiving trough 21 is disposed on a lower
surface of the top cover 2, a mounting chamber is defined by the
first receiving trough 13 and the second receiving trough 21, and
the compressor is disposed in the mounting chamber. A contour line
of a cross section of the mounting chamber is circular, as shown in
FIG. 3.
[0060] A part of a peripheral wall of the first receiving trough 13
is protruded from a lower surface 12 of the base 1 and disposed in
the cabinet 3. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the part of the first
receiving trough 13 protruded from the lower surface 12 of the base
1 is disposed in the cabinet 3, so that the height of the whole
laundry treatment device 200 may be reduced and the laundry
treatment device 200 may be more compact and aesthetic.
[0061] A distance H between a lowest point of the peripheral wall
of the first receiving trough 13 and a datum plane m of an inner
top wall of the cabinet 3 is in a range of 0 to 200 mm, i.e.
0.ltoreq.H.ltoreq.200 mm. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the datum
plane refers to the inner top wall of the cabinet 3 of the laundry
treatment device 200, which is parallel to the lower surface 12 of
the base 1. As a result from tests, when H is in a range of 10 to
100 mm, i.e. 10.ltoreq.H.ltoreq.100 mm, an effective inner space of
the laundry treatment device 200 may be guaranteed and the height
of the laundry treatment device 200 may also be reduced, so that
the structure of the laundry treatment device 200 is compact and
aesthetic.
