BABY BATHING NET FRAME

Abstract

A baby bathing net frame, applied with a bathing basin, includes a support frame, a carrying net and a buoyant element. The support frame includes an upper rod enclosing into a rectangle, two side rods and a lower rod. The upper rod is hung at an edge of the bathing basin, and the lower rod is in contact with a lower portion of the bathing basin. The carrying net is disposed on the support frame and is for carrying the baby. The buoyant element is disposed on the support frame and away from the upper rod. When bathing water is present in the bathing basin, buoyancy of the buoyant element causes the lower rod to float and depart the lower portion of the bathing basin. Thus, the baby is kept afloat on the bathing water surface through the buoyancy of the buoyant element when taking a bath.

Claims



1. A baby bathing net frame, applied with a bathing basin for bathing a baby, comprising: a support frame, comprising an upper rod enclosing into a rectangle, two side rods and a lower rod, the upper rod hung at an edge of the bathing basin, the lower rod being in contact with a lower portion of the bathing basin; a carrying net, disposed on the support frame, for carrying the baby; and a buoyant element, disposed on the support frame and away from the upper rod, providing buoyancy when bathing water is present in the bathing basin to cause the lower rod to float and depart the lower portion of the bathing basin.

2. The baby bathing net frame of claim 1, wherein the carrying net comprises a reverse folded portion at one end away from the upper rod, and the reverse folded portion is reversely folded to envelope and fix the buoyant element.

3. The baby bathing net frame of claim 2, wherein the end of the reverse folded portion is provided with an adhesive fastening element that repeatedly adheres and fastens with the carrying net.

4. The baby bathing net frame of claim 1, wherein the buoyant element comprises an insertion surface corresponding to the lower rod, and the insertion surface comprises a fastening slot for inserting the lower rod.

5. The baby bathing net frame of claim 4, wherein the buoyant element extends outwards to form a pedal for the baby to step on.

6. The baby bathing net frame of claim 4, wherein the buoyant element extends upwards to form a protruding column for abutting against the baby.

7. The baby bathing net frame of claim 6, wherein a surface of the protruding column abutting against the baby is an arched surface.

8. The baby bathing net frame of claim 1, wherein the two side rods and the lower rod form two angular corners, the buoyant element is two angular blocks, and each of the angular blocks comprises an angular slot for inserting each of the angular corners.

9. The baby bathing net frame of claim 1, wherein the buoyant element is two strip blocks, and each of the strip blocks comprises a side slot for inserting one of the side rods.

10. The baby bathing net frame of claim 1, wherein the carrying net comprises a sac-like space for accommodating the upper rod, the two side rods and the lower rod.
Description



FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a baby bathing supply, and particularly to a baby bathing net frame.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The bone structure of newborn babies is not yet fully developed, nor can newborn babies communicate verbally. Thus, bathing a baby may be a huge challenge for novice parents, who may then need to counsel professional hygienists and dedicate extensive amounts of efforts and learning time in order to gradually become well-experienced.

[0003] Current family patterns are mainly small households, and family members may be engaged in work. Apart from the hospitalized period when a baby is born, it is difficult to find professional and well-experienced persons to guide one to bathe a baby. Thus, novice parents may usually be off-handed and not know how to deal with unexpected situations.

[0004] To alleviate psychological burdens of novice parents and to help bathing babies, there are various kinds of bathing supplies for assisting bathing babies. For example, a bathing basin 1 that satisfies the size of a baby and a bathing net frame 2 placed in the bathing basin 1, as shown in FIG. 1, help support a baby, and are some of most handy conventional bathing supplies. Primarily, the bathing net frame 2 has one end hung at an edge of the bathing basin 1 and one other end being in contact with the bottom of the bathing basin 1, and an appropriately amount of bathing water (not shown) is placed in the bathing basin. Thus, a baby (not shown) is positioned to face down or lie on the bathing net frame 2, which then assists in supporting the baby, so that novice parents are not required to manually hold the baby throughout the bathing process to alleviate the load of the arms.

[0005] The above conventional bathing assisting supplies indeed alleviate burdens for novice parents to a certain level, and effectively help novice parents bathe a baby. However, due to not only insufficient experience of notice parents but also a small baby being too small to sit upright or to grip the bathing basin 1 nearby, when a baby is being bathed, the baby is in a somewhat helpless and unsupported environment, such that the baby may feel insecure and even become repellent and scared of bathing. Further, when placed in the bathing basin 1, the bathing net frame 2 is sloped. Particularly for a baby of a smaller body size, although the bathing net frame 2 is used, the baby is still exposed to a risk of accidentally slipping off and in-taking bathing water during the bathing process as the bathing net frame 2 is sloped. Once psychological fear is caused as the baby in-takes the bathing water, the baby may become more scared of bathing, hence making baby bathing even more challenging for novice parents.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Therefore, it is a primary object of the present invention to design a baby bathing net frame capable of preventing a baby from accidentally slipping off and in-taking bathing water. Thus, the baby may enjoy the fun of bathing in a safe environment.

[0007] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a baby bathing net frame applied with a bathing basin and for bathing a baby. The baby bathing net frame includes a support frame, a carrying net and a buoyant element. The support frame includes an upper rod enclosing into a rectangle, two side rods and a lower rod. The upper rod is hung at one edge of the bathing basin. The lower rod is in contact with a lower portion of the bathing basin. The carrying net is disposed on the support frame and is for carrying the baby. The buoyant element is disposed on the support frame and away from the upper rod. When bathing water is present in the bathing basin, the buoyancy of the buoyant element causes the lower rod to float and depart the lower portion of the bathing basin.

[0008] Accordingly, in the present invention, the buoyancy generated by the buoyant element disposed causes the lower rod to float, such that the bathing net frame appears substantially horizontally leveled. Thus, the baby may lie on the bathing net frame with a better sense of security without causing issues of fearing the water or sliding to below the bathing water surface. For one bathing the baby, the baby may be partially immersed in the bathing water by applying a slight force, and the baby is allowed to joyfully play water and bathe in a partially immersed state, hence totally eliminating the issue of fearing taking a bath for the baby and enhancing parental fun.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] Details of the present invention are given in the non-limiting embodiments below.

[0014] Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a baby bathing net frame of the present invention, applied with a bathing basin 10 for bathing a baby (not shown), includes a support frame 20, a carrying net 30 and a buoyant element 40. The support frame 20 includes an upper rod 21 enclosing into a rectangle, two side rods 22 and a lower rod 23. The upper rod 21 is hung at an edge of the bathing basin 10, and the lower rod 23 is in contact with a lower portion of the bathing basin 10. The carrying net 30 is disposed on the support frame 20, and is for carrying a baby. The carrying net 30 includes a sac-like space 31 for accommodating the upper rod 21, the two side rods 22 and the lower rod 23. By accommodating the upper rod 21, the two side rods 22 and the lower rod 23 in the sac-like space 31, the carrying net 30 may be disposed on the support frame 20. The buoyant element 40 is disposed on the support frame 20 and away from the upper rod 21. When bathing water (not shown) is present in the bathing basin 10, the buoyancy of the buoyant element 40 causes the lower rod 23 to float and depart the lower portion of the bathing basin 10. For example, the buoyant element 40 may be made of a material having a density lower than that of water, e.g., foam, airbags and EVA plastic, in order to provide the buoyancy.

[0015] There are many ways to dispose the buoyant element 40 on the support frame 20 and away from the upper rod 21, with associated details described below. As shown in FIG. 3 showing a first embodiment of the present invention, the carrying net 30 includes a reverse folded portion 32 at one end away from the upper rod 21. The reverse folded portion 32 is reversely folded to envelope and fix the buoyant element 40 to secure the buoyant element 40. To meet detaching and cleaning needs, the end of the reverse folded portion 32 may be provided with an adhesive fastening element 33 capable of repeatedly adhering and fastening with the carrying net 30. By opening the adhesive fastening element 33, the buoyant element 40 may become removed.

[0016] Referring to FIG. 4 showing a second embodiment of the present invention, the buoyant element 40 may include an insertion surface 41 corresponding to the lower rod 23. The insertion surface 41 includes a fastening slot 411 that may be inserted by the lower rod 23. By inserting the lower rod 23 into the fastening slot 411 of the buoyant element 40, the buoyant element 40 may be secured to provide a simple assembly that satisfies various kinds of support frame 20.

[0017] Referring to FIG. 5 showing a third embodiment of the present invention, the buoyant element 40 may extend outwards to form a pedal 42 for the baby to step on. The pedal 42 may support feet of the baby to increase application safety.

[0018] Referring to FIG. 6 showing a fourth embodiment of the present invention, the buoyant element 40 may extend upwards to form a protruding column 43 for abutting against the baby. A surface of the protruding column 43 that is in contact with the baby may be an arched surface 431. By positioning the baby with the protruding column 43, the baby can be prevented from slipping off to enhance application safety.

[0019] Referring to FIG. 7 showing a fifth embodiment of the present invention, the two side rods 22 and the lower rod 23 form two angular corners 24, and the buoyant element 40 may be two angular blocks 44. Each of the angular blocks 44 includes an angular slot 441 to be inserted by one of the angular corners 24. By respectively inserting the angular blocks 44 into the angular slots 441 of the angular corners 24, the buoyant element 40 may be secured.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 8 showing a sixth embodiment of the present invention, the buoyant element 40 may be two strip blocks 45 each including a side slot 451 for each of the side rods 22 to insert therein. By respectively inserting the side rods 22 into the side slots 451 of the two strip blocks 45, the position of the buoyant element 40 may be adjusted to change a floating height of the lower rod 23.

[0021] As described, the prevent invention provides at least following advantages.

[0022] 1. With the buoyant element, the buoyancy generated by the buoyant element causes the lower rod to float, such that the bathing net frame may appear substantially horizontally leveled. Thus, the baby may lie on the bathing net frame with a sense of security without issues of fearing the water or slipping off to under the bathing water surface. 2. By slightly applying a force, the baby may be partially immersed in the bathing water. Thus, the baby may play with the water and enjoy bathing in a safe environment through the floating state, hence completely eliminating the issue of fearing to take a bath. 3. By reversely folding, enveloping and fixing the buoyant element using the reverse folded portion, detaching and cleaning needs are met. Further, the adhesive fastening element may be repeatedly adhered and fastened, such that the buoyant element may be easily removed and replaced. 4. The buoyant element may include a fastening slot for adapting to various kinds of support frames, thereby providing a simple assembly capable of quickly fastening the buoyant element. 5. The pedal for the baby to step on and the protrusion column for abutting against the baby are provided to enhance application safety. 6. The buoyant element may be made in forms as the angular blocks and the strip blocks to satisfy different application requirements.
