BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] (1) Field of Invention

[0003] The present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extension strips that have a plurality of lashes attached with one another at an intermediate point along the body of each lash.

[0004] (2) Description of Related Art

[0005] Beauty products have long been known in the art. Users, women in particular, have sought a variety of beauty products to enhance their aesthetic appearance. For example, blush is often used to add color to a woman's cheeks. As another example, lipstick is traditionally used to add a variety of colors and features to a user's lips. To enhance the appearance of a user's eyelashes, some eyelash technicians apply eyelash extensions to a user's natural lashes.

[0007] The present invention differs from the prior art dramatically due to the point of attachment of the lashes, as will be evident below.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[0008] The present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extension strips that have a plurality of lashes attached with one another at an intermediate point along the body of each lash.

[0009] Finally, as can be appreciated by one in the art, the present invention also comprises a method for forming and using the invention described herein.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] The objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed descriptions of the various aspects of the invention in conjunction with reference to the following drawings, where:

[0011] FIG. 1 is an illustration depicting a plurality of lashes attached with one another using an adhesive;

[0012] FIG. 2 is an illustration depicting a plurality of lashes attached with one another using, for example, wire;

[0013] FIG. 3 is an illustration depicting a plurality of lashes attached with one another using, for example, an adhesive and wire.

[0014] FIG. 4 is an illustration depicting a plurality of lashes attached with one another using an adhesive; and

[0015] FIG. 5 as an illustration depicting the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The following description is presented to enable one of ordinary skill in the art to make and use the invention and to incorporate it in the context of particular applications. Various modifications, as well as a variety of uses in different applications will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the general principles defined herein may be applied to a wide range of embodiments. Thus, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments presented, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel features disclosed herein.

[0017] In the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention.

[0018] However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without necessarily being limited to these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form, rather than in detail, in order to avoid obscuring the present invention.

[0019] The reader's attention is directed to all papers and documents which are filed concurrently with this specification and which are open to public inspection with this specification, and the contents of all such papers and documents are incorporated herein by reference. All the features disclosed in this specification, (including any accompanying claims, abstract, and drawings) may be replaced by alternative features serving the same, equivalent or similar purpose, unless expressly stated otherwise. (1) Description

[0022] As shown in FIGS. 1 through 4, the present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extension strips that have a plurality of lashes attached with one another at an intermediate point along the body of each lash. The prior art, as shown in FIG. 5, includes lashes that have wires 500 at the ending/edge of the roots of the lashes to hole the roots of the lashes together or as bundles. Alternatively and as shown in FIGS. 1 through 4, the present invention uses any material (e.g., wire, tape, glue, etc.) to attach the lashes together at any point on the bodies of the lashes (not at the ending/edge of the roots of the lashes). The lashes can be any color, thickness, length, curve, roots (knot or knot-free), and shaped lashes. All kinds of materials (or combinations) can be used to stick/connect the bodies of the lashes together anywhere along the bodies of the lashes (i.e., not at the ending of the roots).
