Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] This non-provisional application claims priority under 35
U.S.C. .sctn.119(a) on Patent Application No(s). 103220350 filed in
Taiwan, R.O.C. on Nov. 14, 2014, the entire contents of which are
hereby incorporated by reference.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] 1. Technical Field of the Invention
[0003] The disclosure relates to a packaging tray, more
particularly to a packaging tray which is integrated formed by a
base plate and four side plates bent with respect to the base
plate.
[0004] 2. Description of the Related Art
[0005] During the manufacturing process in factory, semi-finished
products are transported from one working station to other working
station, repeatedly. However, when semi-finished products are too
small or too complicated, the semi-finished products are not
suitable for direct transportation. Therefore, manufacturers put
these kinds of semi-finished products on packaging trays for
transportation in order to prevent the semi-finished products from
damage.
[0006] The packaging tray is usually made from a single plate that
is cut into a base sub-plate and four side sub-plates. The base
sub-plate is located at the center of the plate, and the four side
sub-plates surround the base sub-plate. The side sub-plates are
bent relative to the sub-base plate to erect on the brim of the
base sub-plate. Parts of the adjacent two side sub-plates can be
overlapped with each other and fixed via staples to form the
packaging tray for transportation. Another kind of packaging tray
is also made from a single plate. The plate is cut into a base
sub-plate and four side sub-plates. The base sub-plate is located
at the center of the plate and the four side sub-plates surround
the base sub-plate. The side sub-plates are bent relative to the
base sub-plate to erect on the brim of the base sub-plate. Parts of
the adjacent side sub-plates can be overlapped with each other and
fixed via pre-cut fixing notches on the overlapped parts of the
side sub-plates to form the packaging tray for transportation.
[0007] Although the two kinds of packaging trays described above
can transport semi-finished products, there are some problems
during assembling, using and storage. On the one hand, the first
packaging tray fixed by the staples increases the cost of
assembling. The overlapped parts are not convenient to be detached
and leveled. Therefore, the first packaging tray needs more space
for storage when they are not in use. On the other hand, the second
packaging tray fixed by fixing notches is detachable for storage
when they are not in use. However, the two fixing notches may be
separated with each other accidentally during transportation. As a
result, manufacturers try to develop a detachable packaging tray
which is easily assembled and firmly fixed.
