The conveyor moves a fabric to cyclically circulate and pass through the dyeing tube and the fabric guide roller. The pump drives a dye liquid through the heat exchanger to jet from the nozzle for dyeing the fabric.

[0003] Taiwan Utility Model Application No. 103208337 proposes an up-inclined conveyor-driving fabric dyeing machine, in which the machine body is arranged in an up-inclined configuration where a front end is set high, while a rear end is low. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0022] The following descriptions are exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

[0023] FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment of an improved structure of a conveyor driving fabric dyeing machine according to the present invention, in which a machine body 1 is arranged in a horizontal configuration or an up-inclined configuration with a front end being set slightly higher. A dyeing tube 12 is arranged above the machine body 1 in a horizontal or slightly inclined configuration to allow the fabric to pass therethrough. A jet nozzle 5 and a fabric guide roller 4 are arranged inside the machine body 1 at an upper portion. An idler 41 is arranged below the fabric guide roller 4. The machine body 1 is provided in a bottom of a rear end thereof with a liquid storage tank 6 and the liquid storage tank 6 has a bottom that is connected through a pipe to the jet nozzle 5. The pipe is provided with a pump 7 and a heat exchanger 8 mounted thereto. The pump 7 is further connected through a pipe to a chemical tank 11. The liquid storage tank 6 is delimited by a baffle plate 61 extending upward from an inside bottom surface of the machine body 1 to a predetermined height and side walls of the machine body. Control of a process of dyeing operation (which will be referred to as "dyeing process") and control of the dyeing machine are achieved with a computer or a programmable logic control (PLC) of a control box 9.

[0024] With the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the fabric 3 is fed into the machine body 1 and passing the idler 41 to be is driven, within the machine body 1, by the fabric guide roller 4 into the jet nozzle 5, and then enters the dyeing tube 12 to move therethrough and thus fall back onto the conveyor device 2, thereby achieving cyclic conveyance. During the cyclic conveyance of the fabric 3, the pump 7 draws and pumps dye liquid L accumulated in the liquid storage tank 6 and the machine body of the dyeing machine through the heat exchanger 8 to be jetted through the jet nozzle 5 for assisting movement of the fabric 3, wherein the dye liquid L interacts with the fabric 3 within the jet nozzle 5 and the dyeing tube 12 so as to achieve dyeing. The dye liquid L that flows down from the rear end of the dyeing tube 12 falls back into the bottom of the machine body and is constrained by the baffle plate 61, so that most of the dye liquid L is deposited in the rear end of the machine body and is blocked by the baffle plate 61 and thus accumulated therein. Since the surface area of the liquid contained in the liquid storage tank 6 is smaller than the entire bottom of the machine body of the dyeing machine, the liquid level can be heightened with the same amount of liquid so that the pump 7 can be protected against idle operation. In other words, the amount of the liquid that is necessary for the liquid storage tank 6 can be decreased for the same height of liquid level. Thus, the amount of the dye liquid L used can be reduced. Further, with the arrangement of the liquid storage tank 6 being configured inside the machine body 1, the overall structure of the entire dyeing machine can be simplified.

[0025] FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment, which adopts the same structure as that of the first embodiment, but does not arrange a heat exchanger outside the machine body. Instead, a heat exchanger 8 is formed inside the liquid storage tank 6 and a filter 62 is arranged on the heat exchanger 8 that is located inside the liquid storage tank 6 to filter off fluffs and debris contained in the dye liquid. This can further reduce the amount of the dye liquid L used and can also further simplify the overall structure of the fabric dyeing machine.

[0026] FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment, which adopts the same structure as that of the second embodiment, but the machine body 1 is arranged in the form of an up-inclined dyeing machine where the front end is set at a higher location while the rear end is at a lower location. The rear end, which is lower, is provided with a liquid storage tank 6 that is exposed outside and located below the machine body. The liquid storage tank 6 comprises a heat exchanger 8 and a filter 62 arranged therein. Further, a bottom of the liquid storage tank 6 is connected through a pipe to a pump 7. The pump 7 is connected via a pipe to a jet nozzle 5 and a chemical tank 11.

[0027] FIG. 4 shows a fourth embodiment, which adopts the same structure as that of the first embodiment, but the machine body 1 is arranged in the form of a down-inclined dyeing machine where the front end is set at a lower location while the rear end is at a higher location. The front end, which is lower, is provided with a liquid storage tank 6 that is exposed outside and located below the machine body. The liquid storage tank 6 comprises a filter 62 or a heat exchanger 8 arranged therein. Further, a bottom of the liquid storage tank 6 is connected through a pipe to a pump 7. The pump 7 is connected via a heat exchanger 8 and a chemical tank 11 that are located outside the machine body.

[0028] FIG. 5 shows a fifth embodiment, which adopts the same structure as that of the fourth embodiment, where the machine body 1 is arranged in the form of a down-inclined dyeing machine with the front end at a lower location and the rear end at a higher location. The front end of the machine body, which is lower, is provided in the interior thereof with a downward recessed liquid storage tank 6 and a bottom of the liquid storage tank 6 is connected via a pipe to a pump 7. The pump 7 is connected via a pipe to a heat exchanger 8 and a chemical tank 11 that are located outside the machine body.

[0029] FIG. 6 shows a sixth embodiment, which adopts the same structure as that of the fifth embodiment, where the machine body 1 is arranged in the form of a down-inclined dyeing machine with the front end at a lower location and the rear end at a higher location, the front end of the machine body, which is lower, is provided in the interior thereof with a downward recessed liquid storage tank 6 and the liquid storage tank 6 is provided in the interior thereof with a heat exchanger 8 and a filter 62. A bottom of the liquid storage tank 6 is connected via a pipe to a pump 7. The pump 7 is connected via a pipe to a jet nozzle inside the machine body and a chemical tank 11 arranged outside the machine body.

[0030] It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

[0031] While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
