PORTABLE BOOKCASE
Abstract
A portable bookcase includes a case made of planks or plastic
plates. The case is formed with a left side and a right side, an
upper side, a lower side, a front side and a rear side. The lift
and the right side respectively have a lower edge provided with a
moving groove, which forms a certain depth by making use of the
thickness of the plank or the plastic plate of the case,
respectively having an upper edge disposed with a lifting handle.
Thus, a user can move the case by extending fingers into the moving
grooves or lift up the case by the lifting handles and further. Two
or more cases can be superposed and combined together by having the
moving grooves of the upper case joined with the lifting handles of
the lower case. The portable bookcase of this invention is original
in structure, able to be moved, lifted and superposed.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] This invention relates to a portable bookcase, particularly
to one including a case having a left side and a right side
respectively provided with a moving groove at a lower edge and
respectively disposed with a lifting handle at an upper edge. Thus,
the case can be moved from its underside by a user extending his
fingers into the moving grooves, or lifted up and moved by means of
the lifting handles and further, an upper case and a lower case can
be superposed and combined together by having the moving grooves of
the upper case closely fitted with the lifting handles of the lower
case. By so designing, the portable bookcase of this invention is
original in structure and can be easily moved about, lifted up and
down, and also can be superposed and combined together.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] At present, a conventional combined article box sold on the
market, as disposed in a newly-designed patent No. M411405, is
mainly provided with an outer case and an inner case. The outer
case has its underside provided with a first combination portion of
matrix permutation and its topside disposed with a second
combination portion corresponding to the first combination portion,
and the first combination portion is round recesses while the
second combination portion is round projections corresponding with
the round recesses. Thus, a plurality of article boxes can be
superposed and combined together by joining the first combination
portion together with the second combination portions. The inner
case is to be correspondingly received in an accommodating space of
the outer case to close the opening of the outer case, provided
with a notch for facilitating the inner case to be pulled out of
the accommodating space of the outer case, and formed with an
article-placing space and an article-placing opening communicating
with the article-placing space. Apparently, each outer case of the
conventional combined article case has to be provided with the
first combination portion and the second combination portions so
that an upper outer case and a lower outer case can be mutually
combined together, and the inner case has to be provided for
storing articles therein. Thus, the conventional combined article
case is high in producing cost and it is wasteful to provide an
outer case and further, the conventional combined article case
cannot be moved about and lifted up.
[0005] In view of this situation, the inventor of this invention,
having accumulated much experience in designing and manufacturing
various kinds of products, has been devoted to the study of the
structural problem of the conventional combined article box and
hence devises this invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The objective of this invention is to offer a portable
bookcase that can be easily moved about and lifted up and down, and
further can be freely superposed and combined together for plural
layers by a user according to practical needs, able to enhance the
quality of home environment and free to be used.
[0007] The portable bookcase in the present invention includes a
case formed with a left side and a right side having their lower
edges respectively provided with a moving groove that forms a
certain depth by making use of the thickness of the plank or the
plastic plate of the case. Further, the left side and the right
side of the case have their upper edges respectively disposed with
a lifting handle. Thus, a user can move the case from its underside
by extending his fingers into the moving grooves or lift up the
case by means of the lifting handles and further, two or more cases
can by superposed and combined together by having the moving
grooves of an upper one of the cases joined with the lifting
handles of an lower one of the cases. The portable bookcase of this
invention is original in structure, able to be moved, lifted and
superposed.

[0012] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the first preferred
embodiment of a portable bookcase in the present invention;
[0013] FIG. 5 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment
of two portable bookcases to be superposed and combined together in
the present invention;
[0014] FIG. 6 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment
of three portable bookcases superposed and combined together in the
present invention; and
[0015] FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a second preferred
embodiment of a portable bookcase having an opening formed at an
upper side in the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0016] FIGS. 1-4 show a preferred embodiment of a portable bookcase
in the present invention, with the scope of this invention not
limited by the shape of bookcase shown in FIGS. 1-4. Any
modification made based on the basic technique related to this
portable bookcase may also be included in the scope of this
invention. A first preferred embodiment of a portable bookcase in
the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1-4, includes a case 1 of
any shape. The case 1 can be provided with one single opening 10 or
plural openings 10, and the opening 10 can be formed at the front
side or the rear side of the case 1, or at the upper side of the
case 1, as shown in FIG. 7, or in any direction of the case 1 in
accordance with requirements.
[0017] Referring to FIGS. 1-4, the case 1 is formed with a left
side 11 and a right side 12 respectively having a lower edge bored
with a moving groove 110 and 120, which is formed with a certain
depth (w) by making use of the thickness of a side plank or a side
plastic plate of the case 1, and the moving groove 110, 120 can be
a rectangular shape, a square shape or other geometric shapes so
long as the moving groove 110, 120 enables a user's fingers to
extend therein for moving the case 1. The purpose of providing the
moving grooves 110, 120 is that it is comparatively safe to move
the case 1 from its underside when the case 1 is impossible to be
lifted.
[0018] Further, referring to FIGS. 1-4, the left side 11 and the
right side 12 of the case 1 have their upper edges respectively
disposed with a lifting handle 111 and 121 respectively formed with
a lifting groove 112 and 122 so that a user's fingers can extend
therethrough for lifting up the case 1 under a permissible
condition. The shape of the lifting handles 111, 121 must match
with the shape of the moving grooves 110, 120 and can be formed
into a rectangular shape, a square shape or other geometric shapes
so long as a user can lift the case 1 by grasping the lifting
handle 111, 121.
[0019] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, since the left side 11 and the
right side 12 of the case 1 have their lower edges respectively
provided with the moving groove 110 and 120, which respectively
corresponds to the lifting handles 111 and 121 at the upper edges
of the left side and the right side of the case 1; therefore, an
upper case 1a and a lower case 1b can be mutually superposed and
combined together by having the moving grooves 110 and 120 of the
upper case 1a respectively joined with the lifting handles 111 and
121 of the lower case 1b, and after being superposed and combined
together, the two cases 1a and 1b can keep their connected sides
flat. In the same way as mentioned above, a plurality of units of
the cases 1 can be freely superposed and combined according to
practical needs and if necessary, the superposed cases 1 can be
disassembled any time to have a single case 1 serving as a
temporary seat.
[0020] To sum up, the portable bookcase of this invention has the
case 1 provided with the moving grooves 110, 120 at the lower edges
for a user's fingers to extend therein for moving the case 1 from
its underside and further provided with the lifting handles 111,
121 at the upper edges for a user to lift the case 1. In addition,
an upper case and a lower case of this invention can be superposed
and combined together by having the moving grooves of the upper
case respectively joined with the lifting handles of the lower
case. Therefore, the portable bookcase of this invention is
progressive and original in structure, able to be moved from the
underside or lifted up by lifting handles, and also able to be
superposed and combined together.
[0021] While the preferred embodiments of this invention have been
described above, it will be recognized and understood that various
modifications may be made therein the appended claims are intended
to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and
scope of the invention.
