Claims

1. A server cabinet, comprising: a bottom wall; a plurality of supporting poles extending up from the bottom wall; and a plurality of adjusting assemblies installed on distal ends of the supporting poles; wherein each adjusting assembly comprises a sliding member slidably fitted about a corresponding supporting pole along a lengthwise direction of the supporting pole and a plurality of fasteners mounting the sliding member to the supporting pole.

2. The server cabinet of claim 1, wherein each supporting pole comprises a supporting plate extending up from the bottom wall and two side plates extending from two opposite sides of the supporting plate toward the same direction, the supporting plate and the side plates cooperatively bound a receiving slot, and the sliding member is received in the receiving slot.

3. The server cabinet of claim 2, wherein each sliding member comprises a sliding plate slidably engaged with an inner surface of the supporting plate of the corresponding supporting pole, and two positioning plates extending from opposite sides of the sliding plate toward the same direction, and the positioning plates are slidably engaged with inner surfaces of the side plates of the supporting pole.

4. The server cabinet of claim 3, wherein tops of the side plates of each supporting pole define a plurality of through holes arrayed along a lengthwise direction of the side plates, the positioning plates of each sliding member define a plurality of position holes arrayed along a lengthwise direction of the positioning plates, the position holes align with the through holes, and the fasteners are mounted in the through holes and corresponding position holes.

5. The server cabinet of claim 3, wherein each sliding member further comprises a stopping portion protruding out from a top of the positioning plates, to be stopped on the top of the corresponding supporting pole.

6. The server cabinet of claim 3, wherein each supporting pole further comprises two flanges protruding toward each other from distal sides of the side plates, opposite to the corresponding supporting plate.

7. The server cabinet of claim 1, wherein each fastener comprises a screw and a nut.
Description

BACKGROUND

[0001] 1. Technical Field

[0002] The present disclosure relates to a server cabinet.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] Server cabinets usually include a base, a cover, and a plurality of supporting poles mounted between the base and the cover. However, the length of the supporting poles cannot be changed.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0005] Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.

[0006] FIG. 1 is an exploded, isometric view of an embodiment of a server cabinet.

[0007] FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the circled portion II of FIG. 1.

[0008] FIG. 3 is an assembled, isometric view of the server cabinet of FIG. 1.

[0009] FIG. 4 is similar to FIG. 3, but shows a different state of use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0010] The present disclosure, including the accompanying drawings, is illustrated by way of examples and not by way of limitation. It should be noted that references to "an" or "one" embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean "at least one."

[0011] FIGS. 1 and 2 show an embodiment of a server cabinet 100 comprising a substantially rectangular bottom wall 20, four substantially U-shaped cross-sections supporting poles 30, four adjusting apparatuses 50, and a cover 60. The four supporting pole 30 extend substantially perpendicularly up from four corners of the bottom wall 20,

[0012] Each supporting pole 30 comprises a rectangular supporting plate 32 extending up from the bottom wall 20, two side plates 33 perpendicularly extending inward from two opposite sides of the supporting plate 32, and two flanges 35 protruding toward each other from distal sides of the side plates 33 opposite to the supporting plate 32. The supporting plate 32, the side plates 33, and the flanges 35 cooperatively bound a receiving slot 36. Distal ends of the side plates 33 define two pairs of through holes 332.

[0013] Each adjusting assembly 50 comprises a substantially U-shaped cross-section sliding member 52 and four fasteners 53. The sliding member 52 comprises a rectangular sliding plate 522, two positioning plates 523 extending substantially perpendicularly out from two opposite sides of the sliding plate 522, and a stopping portion 526 protruding up from a top of the positioning plates 523. The positioning plates 523 define a plurality of position holes 525 arrayed along a lengthwise direction of the positioning plates 523.

[0014] Each fastener 53 can comprise a screw 532 and a nut 533.

[0015] FIG. 3 shows that in assembly of the server cabinet 100, bottom ends of the sliding members 52 are inserted into the receiving slots 36 until the stopping portions 526 are stopped on the top ends of the corresponding supporting poles 30. The sliding plates 522 are slidably engaged with inner surfaces of the supporting plates 32, the positioning plates 523 are slidably engaged with inner surfaces of the side plates 33, and the positioning holes 525 align with the through holes 332. The screws 532 extend through the through holes 332 and the corresponding positioning holes 525, to engage with the nuts 533. The cover 60 is mounted on the top ends of the sliding members 52.

[0016] FIG. 4 shows that in use, each fastener 53 is disengaged from the corresponding supporting poles 30. The sliding members 52 are slid along the corresponding receiving slots 36, until the server cabinet 100 reaches a predetermined height. The screws 532 extend through the through holes 332 and the corresponding positioning holes 525, to engage with the nuts 533.

[0017] Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the embodiments, the present disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the embodiments to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
