stereogram illustrating the pinless hair grip with hidden spring
according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3
is a partial sectional view illustrating the pinless hair grip with
hidden spring according to the first embodiment of the present
invention. A pinless hair grip with hidden spring 100 includes two
gripping bodies 1, a spring body 2, and two sealing capping members
3.
[0029] The gripping body 1 includes a gripping member 11, a
covering member 12, a pressing member 13, and a position limiting
member 14. The gripping member 11 bends inward and has a plurality
of hair combs 111. The inner side of the hair comb 111 is provided
with a flexible non-slip part 112. The flexible non-slip part 112
is provided with a bulge. In other embodiments, the flexible
non-slip part can be flat, provided with trough, or in other
styles. The flexible non-slip part 112 is provided for enhancing
the friction between the gripping member 11 and hairs so that the
pinless hair grip with hidden spring 100 can hold the hairs more
steadily. In other embodiments, the flexible non-slip part 112 is
provided for covering the end of the hair comb 111 so that the end
of the hair comb 111 is flexible for preventing the scalp skin from
being painful. In this embodiment, the flexible non-slip part 112
is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). In other embodiments,
the flexible non-slip part 112 also can be made of silicone or
other polymeric substance.
[0030] The covering member 12 connects with the gripping member 11
of the gripping body 1 and is located between the two gripping
members 11. The two covering members 12 have pivoting parts 121a,
121b, respectively. The two pivoting parts 121a, 121b are pivotally
connected with each other for pivotally connecting the two gripping
bodies 1 with each other. The pivoting parts 121a is a convexity,
and the pivoting parts 121b is a concavity which is correspondingly
pivotally connected with the pivoting parts 121a. The two covering
bodies 12 have a hidden space 122, two installing gaps 123, two
positioning troughs 124, and two position limiting members 14. The
hidden space 122 is provided along a pivoting axis A of the
covering member 12. The installing gap 123 extends along the
pivoting axis A and is formed on the inner walls of the two
covering member 12. The two positioning troughs 124 are formed on
two sides of the covering member 12, wherein each side is opposited
to the pivoting parts 121a, 121b. The two pressing member 13 extend
from the two gripping members 11 and bend outward, respectively.
The two position limiting members 14 are provided as the corners of
the covering members 12, respectively.
[0031] The spring body 2 is provided within the hidden space 122
and covered by the covering member 12. The two ends 21,22 of the
spring body 2 extend and bend outward, and the two ends 21,22 of
the spring body 2 is engaged within the two positioning troughs
124, respectively. The sealing capping member 3 is hexagonal
prism-shaped and is engaged on the end of the covering member 12,
which is opposite to the pivoting parts 121a, 121b. Furthermore,
the sealing capping member 3 has a circular thread part 31 for
having the sealing capping member 3 closely engaged with the
covering member 12. In other embodiments, the sealing capping
member 3 also can be cylinder-shaped or triangular
prism-shaped.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 4, in general, the two gripping bodies 1
closely lean against each other by means of the resilient action of
the spring body 2. The two pressing members 13 separate from each
other. The smallest included angle S between the two gripping
members 11, restricted by the position limiting member 14, is
provided. As show in FIG. 5, the two pressing members 13 are closed
by being pressed, so that the covering member 12 rotates pivotally
to make the two gripping members 11 unfolded. The largest included
angle L between the two gripping members 11, restricted by the two
contacted pressing members 13, is provided.
[0033] In the assembling process, the two gripping bodies 1 are
connected with each other by having the two covering members 12
pivoting with each other. The spring body 2 is disposed within the
hidden space by inserting its end along the installing gap 123 and
bending its end part 21, 22 for further engaging the end part 21,
22 in the two positioning troughs 124, so that the reaction force
of the two ends end part 21, 22 in the two positioning troughs 124
is provided for closing the two gripping bodies 1 . And then the
sealing capping member 3 is engaged with the covering member 12 for
having the spring body 2 hidden.
[0034] The spring body 2 can be completely hidden from being viewed
by means of the covering member 12 and the sealing capping member 3
to prevent user's hairs being teared by the spring body 2 and to
improve the aesthetic feeling of the whole pinless hair grip with
hidden spring 100. Of cause, the present invention is not limit to
that. The spring body 2 also can be hidden by means of the covering
member 12 and the sealing capping member 3 and the flexible
non-slip part also can be provided in other embodiments for having
the pinless hair grip with hidden spring safe, good looking, and
being fixed steadily in use.
[0035] As show in FIG. 6, the elements of the pinless hair grip
with hidden spring 100a in the second embodiment illustrated in
this Fig. are similar to these of the pinless hair grip with hidden
spring 100 in the first embodiment. The second embodiment is
different from the first embodiment as follows. First, the
configurations of the gripping bodies 1a, 1b are different. The
length of the gripping body 1a is longer then that of the gripping
body 1b. And the gripping body 1a is extending to the gripping body
1b for partially covering the gripping body 1b. So the pinless hair
grip with hidden spring 100a can grip more hairs. Second, the
gripping body 1 a has gripping tooth 113 instead of the flexible
non-slip part. The gripping tooth 113 and the bulge of the flexible
non-slip part 112a of the gripping body 1b are disposed
interleaving so that the pinless hair grip with hidden spring 100a
can hold the hairs more steadily. Third, the two position limiting
members 14 are respectively extending from one of the gripping
member 11a, 11b for restricting the movement of gripping member
11a, 11b while the gripping bodies 1a, 1b is closed.
[0036] As show in FIG. 7, the elements of the pinless hair grip
with hidden spring 100b in the third embodiment illustrated in this
Fig. are similar to those of the pinless hair grip with hidden
spring 100b in the second embodiment. The third embodiment is
different from the second embodiment as follows. First, the pinless
hair grip with hidden spring 100b has two clasping members 15
instead of pressing members, the two gripping bodies 1 are closed
by clasping two clasping members 15. Second, the two end parts 21,
22 of the spring body extend along a direction opposite to a
rotating direction of the spring body 2 for having the end part 21
engaged in the two positioning troughs, so the two gripping bodies
1 is unfolded by means of the resilient action of the spring body
while the two clasping members 15 are not connecting with each
other. Third, instead of using the position limiting member, the
movement of the two gripping bodies 1 in the direction of closing
the two gripping bodies 1 is restricted by the gripping tooth 113a
and the flexible non-slip part 112b.
[0037] As show in FIG. 8, the elements of the pinless hair grip
with hidden spring 100c in the fourth embodiment illustrated in
this Fig. are similar to these of the pinless hair grip with hidden
spring 100a in the second embodiment. The fourth embodiment is
different from the second embodiment as follows. The two gripping
members 11 both have the flexible non-slip part 112, and instead of
using the position limiting member, the movement of the two
gripping bodies 1 in the direction of closing the two gripping
bodies 1 is restricted by the flexible non-slip part 112.
[0038] The above description should be considered as only the
discussion of the preferred embodiments of the present invention.
However, a person skilled in the art may make various modifications
to the present invention. Those modifications still fall within the
spirit and scope defined by the appended claims.
