FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The present invention generally relates to a device directed
to a pouch that assists an individual in carrying small objects.
More specifically, the present invention generally relates to a
device directed to a pouch that an individual would utilize in
carrying discreetly and securely small objects such as but not
limited to identification, debit/credit cards, keys, makeup, and
mobile devices.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0008] Without limiting the scope of the disclosed device, the
background is described in connection with a novel device to
efficiently and effectively assist an individual in the carrying
and storing of small items in a concealed manner.
[0009] Currently, when small personal items are carried, purses and
handbags are often utilized. While these methods of carrying can
sometimes be useful, often times there is a need to carry a limited
number of small personal items in an efficient and effective mobile
manner. The use of purses and handbags are noticeable, heavy,
bulky, and inconvenient when one needs to only carry a limited
number of small personal items. In addition, since purses and
handbags are noticeable, they make easy targets for theft.
[0010] In some environments such as the beach or a dance club, a
large bulky and heavy purse or handbag is not desirable. They limit
your ability to move and are cumbersome given the limited number of
items needed to carry. In a grocery store environment, purses and
handbags limit the person's ability to carry and hold groceries. In
yet another environment, such as when handling small children,
purses and handbags also limit the person's ability to hold and/or
carry children.
[0011] While other prior art such as pockets within articles of
clothing and small carriers such as fanny packs serve limited
purposes, they are limited in a number of ways. For example,
pockets within articles of clothing are not always available since
not every item will have them and pockets are not transferable
between articles of clothing. Fanny packs are not easily
concealable and are bulky and do not complement various articles of
clothing such as a dress.
[0012] While all of the aforementioned devices may fulfill their
unique purposes, none of them fulfill the need for a practical,
effective, and efficient means for carrying and storing small items
in a concealed manner on a person or object.
[0013] Therefore, the present invention proposes a novel device and
method for a pouch that an individual would utilize in carrying
discreetly and securely small objects such as but not limited to
identification, debit/credit cards, keys, makeup, and mobile
devices.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0014] The present invention, therefore, provides for a device
directed to a pouch that assists an individual in carrying
items.
[0015] In one embodiment, the device is directed to a pouch
comprising a body element forming a pouch of sufficient size to
store small objects, having an open portion of the body and a
closed portion of the body. Said body element having a cover
element attached to conceal from view, said body element. Said
pouch having at least a means to attach said pouch to a user of the
device or another object. In another embodiment, the means to
attach is a pin, which allows attachment of the pouch to an
individual. In yet another embodiment, the means to attach is
Velcro or an adhesive, which allows attachment of the pouch to an
individual. In another embodiment, the means to attach is at least
one belt loop, which allows attachment of the pouch to an
individual. In another embodiment, the means to attach is a carry
strap.
[0016] In summary, the present invention discloses a device
directed to a pouch that assists an individual in carrying small
objects. More specifically, the present invention generally relates
to a device directed to a pouch that an individual would utilize in
carrying discreetly and securely small objects such as but not
limited to identification, debit/credit cards, keys, makeup, and
mobile devices.
