Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to manufacturing field of liquid crystal display (LCD) devices, and more particularly to a glass substrate transporting box.

BACKGROUND

[0002] Liquid crystal display (LCD) panels manufacturing technology is becoming more mature. With resolution of the LCD panels becoming higher and higher, dust particles in air influence the entire quality of the LCD panel, thus cleanliness of a liquid crystal (LC) glass substrate becomes more important.

[0003] In the prior art, the LC glass substrate is generally stored on a transporting frame for the convenience of transportation and storage. The transporting frame is an open structure in an unsealed state. Environmental dust is easy to fall onto the LC glass substrate. Therefore, cleaning steps are set prior to each manufacturing procedure of the LC glass substrate. In this way, cleaning equipment has a high burden to clean the LC glass substrates. When the cleaning equipment may not eliminate all of the dust, adverse conditions of short circuits, circuit mal function, and abnormal membrane surfaces may be generated.

[0005] The purpose of the present disclosure is achieved by the following technical scheme: A glass substrate transporting box comprises a frame. Dustproof boards that cover the side surfaces of the glass substrate transporting box and that are arranged on five side surfaces of the glass transporting box except a bottom surface of the glass substrate transporting box. Magnetic pieces or magnetic conductive pieces are arranged on four edges of side surfaces of the frame arranged the dustproof boards. The dustproof boards are correspondingly configured with magnetic conductive pieces or magnetic pieces. The magnetic conductive pieces or the magnetic pieces are also arranged on four edge positions that correspond to the dustproof boards on the frame. The dustproof curtains are fixed to the frame through magnetic forces between the magnetic pieces and the magnetic conductive pieces.

[0015] In one example, the frame is configured with dustproof materials for covering the magnetic pieces or the magnetic conductive pieces. The dustproof curtains are configured with dustproof materials for covering the magnetic conductive pieces or the magnetic pieces.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0026] The present disclosure is further described in detail in accordance with the figures and the examples.

Example 1

[0027] FIG. 1 shows a glass substrate transporting box and components of the glass substrate transporting box of the present disclosure. The glass substrate transporting box is a cuboid structure and comprises a frame 10 and dustproof boards 20 which are arranged on the frame 10. The dustproof boards are used to cover side surfaces of the frame 10. As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 4, the frame 10 is configured with a first dustproof board 21, two second dustproof boards 22, and two third dustproof boards 23. The dustproof boards are used to cover the side surfaces of the frame 10, thus preventing the dust from falling onto inner parts of the frame 10 to contaminate the glass substrate. The first dustproof board 21 is arranged on a first side surface of the frame 10. The two second dustproof boards 22 are arranged on two opposite second side surfaces of the frame 10, respectively. The two third dustproof boards 23 are arranged on two opposite third side surfaces of the frame 10, respectively. A side surface of the frame 10 that is not configured with the dustproof board is a bottom surface of the glass substrate transporting box. In other words, the dustproof boards are arranged on five side surfaces of the frame except the bottom surface of the frame 10. The first dustproof board 21, the second dustproof boards 22, and the third dustproof boards 23 are arranged on the frame 10, which are installable to and removable from the frame. In this way, after the glass substrate is loaded from the glass substrate transporting box, the dustproof boards can be installed on the frame 10 to close the side surfaces from direct contact with the outside. In the example, five dustproof boards prevent the dust from falling onto the glass substrate transporting box so that the five side surfaces of the glass substrate transporting box in direct contact with external environment are covered by the dustproof boards, thus preventing environmental dust from falling onto the glass substrate transporting box. If multiple side surfaces of the glass substrate transporting boxes of a stacked state may be covered by other glass substrate transporting boxes, the dustproof boards may not be arranged.

[0028] In the example, as shown in FIG. 1, the frame 10 is configured with magnetic pieces 6. The magnetic pieces 6 may be magnets, magnetic steel, or magnetic strips. As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 4, the first dustproof board 21 and other dustproof boards are configured with the magnetic pieces 6 or magnetic conductive pieces. The dustproof boards are fixed to the frame by using magnetic farce between the magnetic pieces 6 or suction between the magnetic pieces and the magnetic conductive pieces. In this way, after the glass substrates are loaded from the glass substrate transporting box, the dustproof boards can be directly installed onto the frame 10 through use of the magnetic pieces 6. When the glass substrates are unloaded from the glass substrate transporting box, the dustproof boards are directly taken off manually. The dustproof boards are convenient to be quickly installable and removable. Taking the first dustproof board 21 as an example, the magnetic pieces 6 are continuously arranged at the edges of the first dustproof board 21. The frame 10 is further configured with the magnetic pieces 6 continuously arranged which are attracted with the first dustproof board 21 so that the sealing performance between the dustproof board 21 and the frame 10 is better.

[0029] Because the magnetic pieces 6 are magnetic, it is easy to absorb the dust on the surfaces of the magnetic pieces 6 and the dust is not easy to fall off. To ensure cleanliness of the magnetic pieces 6 and to avoid generating dust on the magnetic pieces 6, in the example, dustproof materials covering the magnetic pieces 6 are both arranged on the magnetic pieces 6 on the frame 10 and the dustproof boards. The dustproof materials may be resin films or other materials.

Example 2

[0030] FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show structure of another glass substrate transporting box. Difference between the example 1 and the example 2 is that fixation of the dustproof boards 20 to the frame 10 is by arranging slots 7 on the frame 10, and the dustproof boards 20 are inserted into the slots 7. In the example, one side surface of the glass substrate transporting box is used as an example. It is preferred that slots and dustproof boards are also arranged on other four side surfaces of the glass substrate transporting box.

Example 3

[0031] As shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, difference between the example 3 and the example 1 is that the side surfaces of the frame 10 are covered by dustproof curtains 30. Dustproof curtains 30 are arranged on five side surfaces except the bottom surface of the glass substrate transporting box. The dustproof curtains 30 are made of flexible materials, such as plastic films, and are convenient in storage and low in manufacturing cost. The magnetic pieces 6 are arranged on four edges of the dustproof curtains 30. The magnetic pieces 6 are also arranged on four edge positions corresponding to the dustproof curtains 30 on the frame 10. The dustproof curtains 30 are fixed to the frame 10 through magnetic forces between the magnetic pieces 6. The magnetic pieces 6 on the dustproof curtains 30 may be flexible magnetic strips or discontinuous magnetic blocks. The magnetic pieces 6 are also covered by the dustproof materials.

[0032] In the example, the dustproof curtains also are fixed to the frame by using structures similar to buttons.

[0033] The present disclosure is described in detail in accordance with the above contents with the specific preferred examples. However, this present disclosure is not limited to the specific examples. For the ordinary technical personnel of the technical field of the present disclosure, on the premise of keeping the conception of the present disclosure, the technical personnel can also make simple deductions or replacements, and all of which should be considered to belong to the protection scope of the present disclosure.
