Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to the field of packaging, and in particular to a package box of liquid crystal display module.

[0003] 2. The Related Arts

[0004] It is inevitable that a liquid crystal display module may be impacted or falling during the shipping thereof. To well protect the liquid crystal display module, it is desired to use a liquid crystal display module packaging device to provide positioning and cushioning to the liquid crystal display module. Commonly used package boxes include cartoons and plastic cases. Plastic cases have better structures and low prices, but show poor cushioning performance so that cushioning blocks must be additionally provided inside the cases to effect cushioning. Commonly used cushioning blocks are made of foaming substance, such as expandable polyethylene (EPE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). These substances are of high prices and are hard to restore after being compressed, making cushioning performance deteriorating and incapable of repeated use, so that the recycling value is low and cost control is hard.

[0005] A conventional liquid crystal display module package box is illustrated in FIG. 1. The package box comprises a box body 100, a bottom cushioning structure 300, and a top cushioning structure 500. The bottom cushioning structure 300 comprises a cushioning bottom board 302, two cushioning side boards 304 that are mounted on the cushioning bottom board 302 and arranged at two ends of the cushioning bottom board 302, and three positioning cushioning boards 306 that are mounted on the cushioning bottom board 302 and arranged, in a spaced manner, between the two cushioning side boards 304. The two cushioning side boards 304 are both provided with a plurality of spaced receiving slots 305. The three positioning cushioning boards 306 are all provided with a plurality of positioning slots 307 corresponding to the receiving slots 305. The top cushioning structure 500 that is used in combination with the bottom cushioning structure 300 has a structure corresponding to that of the bottom cushioning structure 300. To set up, the cushioning bottom board 302 is first positioned in the box body 100. Next, liquid crystal display modules 700 are sequentially fit into the receiving slots 305 and the positioning slots 307. Finally, the top cushioning structure 500 is set on the tops of the liquid crystal display modules.

[0006] However, this type of liquid crystal display module package box is has a complicated structure and is hard to restore the original configuration after being compressed thereby making the performance of cushioning thereof not so significant, which may occasionally cause damage to the liquid crystal display modules during the process of transportation and shipping.

[0007] Thus, it is a challenge to the present inventor and those devoted themselves to the art to provide an effective liquid crystal display module packaging device that realizes positioning and cushioning for package boxes during the shipping thereof and also overcomes high cost, complicated structure, and insignificant cushioning performance of the conventional liquid crystal display module packaging devices.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0026] The technical solution, as well as beneficial advantages, of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of an embodiment of the present invention, with reference to the attached drawings. In the drawings:

[0027] FIG. 1 is a schematic view illustrating an operational flow of conventional way of packaging package box; and

[0028] FIG. 2 is a schematic view illustrating coordination between a positioning and cushioning device of a liquid crystal display module package box according to the present invention and liquid crystal display modules.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0029] To further expound the technical solution adopted in the present invention and the advantages thereof, a detailed description is given to a preferred embodiment of the present invention and the attached drawings.

[0030] Referring to FIG. 2, the present invention provides a liquid crystal display module package box, which comprises: a box body (not shown) and a positioning and cushioning device 2 arranged in the box body. The positioning and cushioning device 2 that is arranged in the box body provides positioning and cushioning effects to liquid crystal modules 4. The positioning and cushioning device 2 comprises a plurality of positioning sections 22 and a plurality of supporting sections 24 that is arranged to be spaced from the positioning sections 22. Connection sections 26 are provided between the positioning sections 22 and the supporting sections 24. The positioning sections 22, the supporting sections 24, and the connection sections 26 are all air pocket structures and are integrally formed with interiors communicating with each other to be filled with gas. The gas used is air. In a transportation process, the positioning and cushioning device 2 uses the positioning sections 22 to clamp liquid crystal display modules 4 at opposite sides and uses the supporting sections 24 to support the liquid crystal display modules 4. The amount of air contained in the cushioning device provides effects of cushioning and support, whereby elastic deformation may result when acted upon by an external force to cushioning the external force and restoration may efficiently occur when the external force is removed so as to better protect the liquid crystal display modules 4 with a simple structure and low cost.

[0031] The positioning sections 22 have a size greater than that of the supporting sections 24. Each of the liquid crystal display modules 4 is interposed and retained between two adjacent positioning sections 22 and is born by the supporting sections 24. The positioning sections 22 tightly interpose and retain the liquid crystal display modules 4 and have a size greater than that of the supporting sections 24 to better retain the liquid crystal display modules 4.

[0032] The positioning sections 22, the supporting sections 24, and the connection sections 26 are integrally formed with low density polyethylene. Low density polyethylene provides excellent cushioning performance and is low cost and free of odor.

[0033] The positioning and cushioning device 2 is provided with an air-filling (not shown) and a closure device (not shown) for closing the air-filling hole. In the process of filling air, air is filled through the air-filling hole to complete the inflation of whole device. After the filling of air, the closure device is applied to close and seal the air-filling hole to provide an effect of cushioning. During the transportation and shipping of the positioning and cushioning device 2, air can be expelled from the interior of the device to reduce space occupation ratio and thus lowering the transportation cost.

[0034] The box body is a paper box or a plastic box and is preferably a plastic box in the instant embodiment. The plastic box has a better structure than regular cartons and is not easily damaged when repeatedly used and is also humidity-proof and water-proof to thereby offer better protection. Further, repeated use of the plastic box allows a reduction of packaging cost.

[0035] In summary, the present invention provides a liquid crystal display module package box, which uses an air-bag type cushioning body to serve as a positioning and cushioning device for liquid crystal display modules, wherein the positioning and cushioning device is positioned in the bottom of a box body to provide an effect of retaining and protecting the liquid crystal display modules and to better protect the liquid crystal display modules during the transportation and shipping of the liquid crystal display modules by preventing damages caused by external forces occurring during the transportation and shipping process. Further, the positioning and cushioning device of the liquid crystal display module package box according to the present invention has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and can thus effectively lower down the manufacture cost.

[0036] Based on the description given above, those having ordinary skills of the art may easily contemplate various changes and modifications of the technical solution and technical ideas of the present invention and all these changes and modifications are considered within the protection scope of right for the present invention.
