Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] This invention relates mainly to a long-filament fiber memory foam pillow, in particular, it relates to the long-filament fibers inner tube covers on a foam unit having egg-shaped supports, to supply softness and smooth comfort with elastic support.

DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART

[0002] In the light of the hectic pace of daily activities in our modern society, if the mental stress cannot be appropriately alleviated, it could lead to serious insomnia. It is for this purpose that the selection of good bedding, the level of comfort of bedding can have a critical effect on the quality of our sleep. Since the human neck is left in suspension as soon as a person lies down, a pillow is needed in order to provide a proper level of support to maintain the neck at such a level as to ensure that a person has a healthy sleep posture as well.

[0003] Nevertheless, it has been observed that the conventional pillows after long term use, in the area where a person often lays their head, a depression frequently can be found such as shown in FIG. 1, in accordance with FIG. 2, of which the conventional pillows at least comprises:

[0004] The main body of the pillow (10), which contains a filler (101), the said filler (101) can be made of down feathers, silk or memory foam; and

[0005] An external cover (20), which is used to wrap around the exterior of the main body (10).

[0006] When conventional pillows are not in use, regardless of which material is chosen as the filler (101), it should remain in a fluffy state, and should be able to provide the level of support needed by the person who lays his head on it. However, when a person lays his head down on the body of the pillow (10) covered by the external cover (20), if the content of the filler (101) is made of down feathers or silk that would be compressed and shifted, rather then displaced toward the areas where it is not compressed. As shown in FIG. 2 that the compressed area of filler (101) is thinner, relatively speaking, the area of filler that is not compressed (101) has a higher density; as a result it easily provokes the phenomena such as shifting and flattening. Even if the filler (101) is made of memory foam after long-term use that it cannot remain in its initial form. This causes the pillow to be unable to provide close comfortable support between the users head and the pillow. This means that for the user after sleeping on the pillow for long periods of time, they may experience discomfort due to muscle stiffness

[0007] A number of conventional pillows that are available in the marketplace employ a filler (101) which is made of short chemical fibers. In the production process, the aforementioned short chemical fibers are cut into lengths of a few centimeters, that they are easily broken down and separated. Hence, after long-term use causing the performance features such as fluffiness, air permeability and softness become inadequate. As a result, the comfort of sleep is adversely affected.

[0008] In light of these facts, existing pillows have been investigated and improved; with regards to this invention, it is designed in order to improve these issues, after spending a considerable amount of time on research, development and repeated testing, this invention is disclosed.

[0011] According to the long-filament fibers memory foam pillow, the invention further includes an external cover with a chamber thus the long-filament fibers inner tube and the foam unit are installed in the interior of the aforementioned chamber.

[0012] In reference to the long-filament fibers foam pillow, in particular, the foam unit comprises of at least one foam unit which is equipped with the egg-shaped supports on the external surface. Moreover, the aforementioned long-filament fibers inner tube is used to wrap around the exterior of the foam unit and the long-filament fibers are embedded in between the egg-shaped supports.

[0013] With reference to the aforementioned long-filament fiber memory foam pillow wherein, the foam unit may be made of a memory sponge, foam, an emulsion or silicone.

[0014] With reference to the aforementioned long-filament fiber memory foam pillow wherein, the long chemical filament fiber is made by the chemical processing softening treatment.

[0015] With reference to the aforementioned long-filament fiber memory foam pillow wherein, the long chemical filament fiber is made with silicone by a chemical processing softening treatment.

[0016] With reference to the aforementioned disposition, in comparison to the related art, this invention makes use of a long-filament fibers inner tube, in conjunction with a foam unit having egg-shaped supports, in order to embed a number of long chemical filament fibers in between the egg-shaped supports. Furthermore, even when this invention is compressed, the long-filament fibers inner tube will be able to remain embedded in between the egg-shaped supports without displacement. Furthermore, the long chemical filament fiber provide a level of comfort which is comparable to that of silk, enabling the replacement of raw silk materials in order to reduce the cost of production. Additionally, the foam unit provides a suitable level of support. As a consequence, this invention enables the provision for excellent quality of softness and fluffiness as well as elastic support.
