Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The invention relates to the field of packages, and more
particularly to a packaging box for liquid crystal glass.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Conventional liquid crystal display (LCD) devices employ
various glass plates and glass components. As a brittle material,
glass is easily broken and then scrapped when being knocked or
shaken by external force. Even the friction between glass plates
possibly causes the glass plates to be scratched or the circuits on
the glass substrates to be damaged. Therefore, how to safely and
effectively transport liquid crystal glass becomes a crucial
issue.
[0003] In the prior art, the frequently-used packaging mode is
that: a plurality of liquid crystal glass are stacked and then put
in a packaging box, and buffer sheets are arranged among the liquid
crystal glass; the packaging box is generally made of expanded
polypropylene (EPP), expanded polyethylene (EPE), expanded
polystyrene (EPS), etc. The expanded materials have the advantages
of better buffer performance, certain hardness, no drop of powdered
scraps without worrying about that the environment of the dust-free
room is affected. However, the expanded materials are expensive,
which do not favor the reduction of packaging cost.
[0004] The application of the China patent of invention whose
application number is 200610157354.2 and whose title is packaging
box for glass substrates, discloses a packaging box. The containing
space of the packaging box is changed by additionally arranging
buffer components on the inner surface of the side wall of the
packaging box, to facilitate the packaging box to contain glass
substrates of different sizes; thus, the glass substrates are
freely packaged, and the cost is effectively reduced. To obtain
more containing spaces of different sizes, the patent application
provides a scheme: adding more buffer components. As shown in FIG.
4 of the patent, another set of buffer components are added on the
based of adding one set of buffer components, the newly added
buffer components are clamped on the original buffer components, to
further reduce the containing space. Thus, the number of the buffer
components is increased, so the cost is increased, and the
management is difficult.
SUMMARY
[0005] In view of the above-mentioned technical problems, the aim
of the invention is to provide a packaging box for liquid crystal
glass which has low cost and containing spaces of different
sizes.
[0006] A first technical scheme of the invention is that: a

with through holes, the buffer component(s) is correspondingly
provided with fixing holes, and the screws or plug pins are fixed
in the fixing holes of the buffer component after penetrating
through the through holes of the fixing part.
[0007] A second technical scheme of the invention is that: a
packaging box for liquid crystal glass comprises a box body and
buffer components; the buffer components are positioned on the

buffer components are made of material with high buffer
performance, and the box body is mainly used for fixing the buffer
components and guaranteeing the strength of the whole packaging
box. Thus, the box body can be made of ordinary plastic material
and molded by a forming mold for plastic products without being

buffer component is provided with through holes, the bottom of the
box body is provided with fixing holes, and the screws or the plug
pins are fixed in the fixing holes of the box body after
penetrating through the through holes of the buffer component.
[0016] The fixing pieces are screws or plug pins. The upper end
surface of the side wall(s) of the box body is inwards extended
with a fixing part, the fixing part is provided with through holes,
the buffer component is correspondingly provided with fixing holes,
and the screws or plug pins are fixed in the fixing holes of the
buffer component after penetrating through the through holes of the
fixing part.
[0017] Advantages of the invention are summarized below: the
packaging box for liquid crystal glass of the invention is of a
separated structure, and comprises a box body and buffer
components; the buffer components are positioned on the inner
surface of the side wall(s) of the box body, and the buffer
components are fixed at least in two different positions of the box
body; when the buffer components are fixed in different positions,

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0027] The invention provides a packaging box for liquid crystal
glass. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show a first example of the packaging box
for liquid crystal glass of the invention. The packaging box for
liquid crystal glass comprises a box body 1 and buffer components
2; the buffer components 2 are positioned on the inner surface of
side wall(s) of the box body 1, and the buffer components 2 are
fixed at least in two different positions of the box body 1; when
the buffer components 2 are fixed in different positions, the
containing sizes of the packaging box are different.
[0028] The packaging box for liquid crystal glass of the invention
is of a separated structure, and comprises box body 1 and buffer
components 2; the buffer components 2 are positioned on the inner
surface of the side wall(s) of the box body 1, and the buffer
components 2 are fixed at least in two different positions of the
box body 1; when the buffer components 2 are fixed in different
positions, the containing sizes of the packaging box are different.
When not being provided with the buffer components 2, the packaging
box for liquid crystal glass is used for containing large-size
liquid crystal glass; when being provided with the buffer
components 2, the packaging box for liquid crystal glass is used
for containing small-size LC glass. In the invention, at least two
packaging boxes of different sizes can be assembled by only one set
of buffer components 2 and the same box body 1, to meet the
packaging requirement of liquid crystal glass or liquid crystal
glass components of different sizes. The packaging box for liquid
crystal glass of the example has three different containing sizes,
so that the liquid crystal glass of various sizes can share the
packaging box and be freely packaged, thereby effectively reducing
the packaging cost.
[0029] In the example, the buffer components 2 and the box body 1
are made of the same material which has good buffer performance,
such as EPP, EPE, EPS, etc. The buffer components 2 are arranged on
the middle part inside the side wall(s) of the box body 1. The
buffer components 2 are provided with holding parts, the box body 1
is provided with two clamping parts used or fixing the buffer
components, and the holding parts of the buffer components 2 are
clamped in the clamping parts of the box body 1. More specifically,
the holding parts are clamping tenons 21, and the clamping parts
are clamping slots 11; the clamping tenons 21 are clamped in the
clamping slots 11. The matching structures of the clamping tenons
21 and the clamping slots 11 are easily assembled, and reliably
fixed, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.
[0030] Optionally, the holding parts in the example can also be
clamping slots, and the clamping parts can be clamping tenons; the
clamping slots are clamped in the clamping tenons. The aim of the
invention can also be achieved by only simply exchanging the
structure of the clamping tenon with that of the clamping slot. The
clamping tenon can further be an ordinary rectangle clamping
block.
[0031] FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 show a second example of the packaging box
for liquid crystal glass of the invention. The second example is
different from the first example in that: the buffer components 2
are arranged on the four corners inside the box body 1, and the
clamping slots 11 of the box body are also arranged in the four
corners of the box body 1. The clamping slot 11 comprises a main
clamping slot, and three wider branch clamping slots. The clamping
tenon 21 of the buffer component 2 can be clamped in any branch
clamping slot, namely the buffer component 2 has three different
positioning positions. Thus, the packaging box for liquid crystal
glass has three different containing sizes. The rest structures and
advantages are the same as the first example; thus, the second
example will not give unnecessary details.
[0032] Optionally, the buffer components of the invention can also
be arranged on the four corners inside the box body and the middle
part inside the side wall of the box body. Thus, the LC glass can
be positioned at the corners and in the middle.
[0033] FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show a third example of the packaging box
for liquid crystal glass of the invention, and the third example is
different from the first example in that: the buffer components 2
are arranged in two different positions of the box body 1 by fixing
pieces 3; when the buffer components 2 are fixed in different
positions, the containing sizes of the packaging box are different.
The packaging box for liquid crystal glass of the example has three
different containing sizes. Two packaging boxes of different sizes
are assembled by only one set of buffer components 2 and the same
box body 1, to meet the packaging requirement of liquid crystal
glass or liquid crystal glass components of different sizes,
thereby effectively reducing the packaging cost.
[0034] In the example, the fixing pieces 3 are screws or plug pins.
The buffer components 2 are provided with through holes, the bottom
of the box body 1 is provided with fixing holes, and the screws or
plug pins are fixed in the fixing holes of the box body 1 after
penetrating through the through holes of the buffer components 2.
Fixing the buffer components 2 by fixing pieces 3 such as screws,
plug pins, etc. is a conventional fixing method, which is simple
and reliable, and is easy to achieve.
[0035] FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 show a fourth example of the packaging box
for liquid crystal glass of the invention, and the fourth example
is different from the third example in that: the buffer components
are made of material different from that of the box body and have
buffer performance superior to that of the box body. The box body 1
is made of ABS or HDPE and molded by a forming mold for plastic
products, and the buffer components 2 are made of EPP, EPE, or
EPS.
[0036] In the example, the fixing pieces 3 are screws or plug pins.
The upper end surface of the side wall of the box body is inwards
extended with a fixing part 12, the fixing part 12 is provided with
through holes, a structure similar to a chute is formed by the
fixing part 12 of the box body and the bottom of the box body, and
the buffer component 2 is moved in the chute. The buffer component
2 is correspondingly provided with fixing holes 22, and the screws
or plug pins are fixed in the fixing holes 22 of the buffer
component 2 after penetrating through the through holes of the
fixing part 12.
[0037] In the packaging box for liquid crystal glass of the
example, two packaging boxes of different sizes are assembled by
only one set of buffer components 2 and the same box body 1, to
meet the packaging requirement of LC glass or LC glass components
of different sizes, thereby effectively reducing the packaging
cost.
[0038] The packaging box for liquid crystal glass is of a separated
structure; the box body 1 and the buffer components 2 are
respectively made of different materials, the buffer components 2
are made of material with high buffer performance, and the box body
1 is mainly used for fixing the buffer components 2 and
guaranteeing the strength of the whole packaging box. Thus, the box
body 1 can be made of ordinary plastic material and molded by a
forming mold for plastic products without being made of expanded
buffer material which has buffer effect and high cost, thereby
reducing the cost of the packaging box.
[0039] Optionally, in the example, the buffer components can be
arranged in the mode as that of the first example to the third
example, and the aim of the invention can also be achieved. Because
of the same principle, the example will not give unnecessary
details.
[0040] The invention is described in detail in accordance with the
above contents with the specific preferred examples. However, this
invention is not limited to the specific examples. For the ordinary
technical personnel of the technical field of the invention, on the
premise of keeping the conception of the invention, the technical
personnel can also make simple deductions or replacements, and all
of which should be considered to belong to the protection scope of
the invention.
