DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0026] In order clearly explain the technology of the embodiment
illustrated in the present invention, a brief and concise
description will be given along with the accompanied drawings.
Apparently, the embodiments illustrated in the drawings are merely
some typical embodiments and which can be readily modified by the
skilled in the art without any additional laborious efforts so as
to transform them into other drawings.
[0027] Referring now to FIG. 1, an exploded or unassembled of parts
of a partitioning device made in accordance with the present
invention. As shown, the partitioning device generally includes a
first supporting fixture 10, a second supporting fixture 10, and a
partitioning board 30.
[0028] The first supporting fixture 10 generally includes a first
base beam 101, and a pair of first skirts 102 extending upward from
longitudinal sides of the first base beam 101. The second
supporting fixture 20 has a similar configuration as the first
supporting fixture 10, and includes a second base beam 201, and a
pair of second skits 202 extending upward from longitudinal sides.
The first skirt 102 and the second skirt 202 are spaced from each
other. The partitioning board 30 includes a main board 301, and a
pair of third and fourth skirts 302 and 303 extending downward from
longitudinal sides of the main board 301.
[0029] In the present embodiment, the first and second supporting
fixtures 10 and 20 are served as the ceiling grids as discussed
above, and the partitioning board 30 is served as the blind disk.
The first and second supporting fixtures 10 and 20 are arranged in
parallel such that the main board 301 of the partitioning board 30
can be bridged or spanned over those two first and second fixtures
10 and 20. This arrangement or combination can make the first and
second fixtures 10 and 20, along with the partitioning board 30
becomes a proper or perfect ceiling system for the cleanroom and
other buildings. Alternatively, the first and second fixtures 10
and 20, and the partitioning board 30 can be embodied or
implemented with other configuration.
[0030] In the present invention, and as shown and described above,
the first and second skirts 102, 202 of the first and second base
beams 101 and 201; and the third and fourth skirts 302 and 303 of
the main board 301 are all arranged along its longitudinal sides.
In addition, the first skirt 102 is substantially perpendicular to
the first base beam 101; while the second skirt 202 is
substantially perpendicular to the second base beam 201. The third
skirt 302 is substantially perpendicular to the main board 301,
while it is tilted outward with an angle "a1"; the fourth skirt 303
is substantially perpendicular to the main board 301, while it is
tilted outward with an angle "a2". In the present embodiment, the
internal span L1 between the third and fourth skirts 302 and 303 is
slightly smaller than an internal span L2 between the first skirt
101 and the second skirt 201. In the preferred embodiments, the
angles "a1" and "a2" of the first and second skirts 101 and 201
range between 0.5 to 1 degree. According to the preferable
embodiments, the first and second angles "a1" and "a2" equal to
each other. It is feasible that the first and second angles can be
arranged according to field requirements. In addition, the
positions of the first, second, third and fourth skirts 101, 201,
302 and 303 can be also arranged at other proper position.
[0031] Referring now to FIGS. 2 and 3, when parts of the
partitioning device are assembled together, specially, FIG. 3
illustrates an enlarged view of an encircled portion A shown in
FIG. 2. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the partitioning board 30 is
pressed downward against to the first and second fixtures 10 and 20
in a way such that the first skirt 102 and the second skirt 202
will be slightly deformed outwardly so as to interengage with the
third and fourth skirts 302 and 303. As a result, the positioning
board 30 is securely and tightly articulated between the first and
second supporting fixtures 10 and 20.
[0032] By this kind of flexible and secure interengagment between
the first skirt 102 and the third skirt 302, and the second skirt
202 and the fourth skirt 303, the positioning board 30 is properly
interengaged with the first and second fixtures 10 and 20. Since
both the first and second skirts 102 and 202, and the third and
fourth skirts 302 and 303 are slightly deformed between they are
engaged, their interengagement is much stronger than the
interengagement by means of its own weight as prior art does. Even
if the first and second fixtures 10 and 20 are slightly deformed,
the interengagement between the first and second skirts 102, 202
and the third and fourth skirts 302 and 303 are still strong and
reliable. In addition, in order to enhance the sealing effect, a
first weather strip 40 is arranged between the first and third
skirts 102 and 302, and a second weather strip 50 is arranged
between the second and fourth skirts 202 and 303. The thickness of
the first and second weather strip 40 and 50 is preferably selected
around 5 minimeters, and it can be made from rubber material, foam
material or any other suitable sealing material.
[0033] By the provision of the first and second weather strips 40
and 50, the interengagement between the first and third skirts 102
and 302, and the second and fourth skirts 202 and 303 are further
enhanced and secured as the weather strips 40 and 50 are properly
sandwiched therebetween. Since the space between first and third
skirts 102 and 302, and the second and fourth skirts 202 and 303
are completely stuffed with the weather strips 40 and 50, there is
no way that the particles and particulates may pass therethrough.
The cleaning rating of the cleanroom is therefore secured.
[0034] By the provision of the flexible first and second skirts 102
and 202 on the first and second fixtures 10 and 20, and the third
and fourth skirts 302 and 303 of the partitioning board 30, a
reliable, strong and secure interengagement is reached and
realized. In addition, since the interengagement is thorough and
complete, the overall structure is preferably enhanced. In
addition, the provision of the weather strips 40 and 50 will
further enhance the sealing arrangement to reach a substantial
air-tight effect. Accordingly, by using the partitioning device
provided by the present invention, the rating of cleanness of the
cleanroom is further guaranteed and ensured.
[0035] Embodiments of the present invention have been described,
but not intending to impose any unduly constraint to the appended
claims. Any modification of equivalent structure or equivalent
process made according to the disclosure and drawings of the
present invention, or any application thereof, directly or
indirectly, to other related fields of technique, is considered
encompassed in the scope of protection defined by the claims of the
present invention.
