Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a spring bed foundation and more particularly to a spring bed foundation for disposing between a bed foundation and a spring mattress. The spring bed foundation can be folded away for convenient transportation and carrying.

[0003] 2. Related Art

[0004] A common spring bed comprises a bed foundation, a case disposing on the bed foundation and a spring mattress disposing on the bed case. The spring mattress is for a person to lie on. The spring bed case is a rectangular object and is strong enough to support the spring mattress on the top.

[0005] Because the spring bed case has to support the spring mattress, it has to have a certain size and weight. The disadvantages of a conventional spring bed case are: the big size makes it inconvenient for transporting and the transported quantity is limited; the heavy weight requires more effort to carry; and the big size and the heavy weight make it inconvenient for assembling by a user.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a spring bed foundation, by which the problems of inconvenient for transporting, requiring more effort to carry and inconvenient for assembling of a conventional spring bed case because of its big size and heavy weight can be solved.

[0007] In order to solve the above problems, a spring bed foundation provided by the present invention comprises:

[0008] a first frame body comprising a first frame and a first foundation, a plurality of first supporting frames being disposed pivotally and transversely in intervals between the first frame and the first foundation so that the first frame and the first foundation being moved relatively to each other, a first sliding rail being disposed at two opposite sides of the first foundation respectively, the two first sliding rails and each of the first supporting frames intersecting with each other, a first pivotal end being disposed at two sides of an end of the first foundation respectively, a first supporting portion being disposed at two sides of another end of the first foundation respectively, an end of each of the first supporting portions being glidingly disposed on the first sliding rails respectively, another end of each of the first supporting portions being fixed on the first supporting frame furthest away from the first pivotal ends;

[0009] a second frame body comprising a second frame and a second foundation, a plurality of second supporting frames being disposed pivotally and transversely in intervals between the second frame and the second foundation so that the second frame and the second foundation being moved relatively to each other, a second sliding rail being disposed at two opposite sides of the second foundation respectively, the two second sliding rails and each of the second supporting frames intersecting with each other, a second pivotal end being disposed at two sides of an end of the second foundation respectively, the second pivotal ends and the first pivotal ends being connected pivotally with each other, a second supporting portion being disposed at two sides of another end of the second foundation respectively, an end of each of the second supporting portions being glidingly disposed on the second sliding rails respectively, another end of each of the second supporting portions being fixed on the second supporting frame furthest away from the second pivotal ends; and

[0010] two lateral pivotal pieces connecting to the opposite ends of the first frame and the second frame and being pivotally connected on the first frame and the second frame by two positioning elements respectively.

[0011] According to the above structures, each of the first supporting frames is disposed in the same interval.

[0012] According to the above structures, each of the second supporting frames is disposed in the same interval.

[0013] Comparing with the effects of the conventional techniques, the spring bed foundation provided by the present invention can be folded away for convenient transporting; a plurality of the spring bed foundations can be transported in one time and it is convenient for assembling the spring bed foundation.

[0014] The present invention will become more fully understood by reference to the following detailed description thereof when read in conjunction with the attached drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0015] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a spring bed foundation of the present invention;

[0016] FIG. 2 is a perspective exploded view of the spring bed foundation of the present invention;

[0017] FIG. 3 is an illustration of the movement of a first frame body of the present invention;

[0018] FIG. 4 is a side view of the first frame body and a second frame body of the present invention being folded together; and

[0019] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the spring bed foundation of the present invention being used.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 5 for the descriptions of a spring bed foundation of the present invention.

[0021] The spring bed foundation of the present invention comprises a first frame body 10, a second frame body 20 and two lateral pivotal pieces 30. The first frame body 10 comprises a first frame 11 and a first foundation 12. A plurality of first supporting frames 13 is disposed pivotally and transversely in intervals between the first frame 11 and the first foundation 12 so that the first frame 11 and the first foundation 12 can move relatively to each other. A first sliding rail 14 is disposed at two opposite sides of the first foundation 12 respectively. The two first sliding rails 14 and each of the first supporting frames 13 intersect with each other. A first pivotal end 15 is disposed at two sides of an end of the first foundation 12 respectively. A first supporting portion 16 is disposed at two sides of another end of the first foundation 12 respectively. An end of each of the first supporting portions 16 is glidingly disposed on the first sliding rails 14 respectively, and another end of each of the first supporting portions 16 is fixed on the first supporting frame 13 furthest away from the first pivotal ends 15.

[0022] The second frame body 20 comprises a second frame 21 and a second foundation 22. A plurality of second supporting frames 23 is disposed pivotally and transversely in intervals between the second frame 21 and the second foundation 22 so that the second frame 21 and the second foundation 22 can move relatively to each other. A second sliding rail 24 is disposed at two opposite sides of the second foundation 22 respectively. The two second sliding rails 24 and each of the second supporting frames 23 intersect with each other. A second pivotal end 25 is disposed at two sides of an end of the second foundation 22 respectively. The second pivotal ends 25 and the first pivotal ends 15 are connected pivotally with each other. A second supporting portion 26 is disposed at two sides of another end of the second foundation 22 respectively. An end of each of the second supporting portions 26 is glidingly disposed on the second sliding rails 24 respectively, and another end of each of the second supporting portions 26 is fixed on the second supporting frame 23 furthest away from the second pivotal ends 25.

[0023] The two lateral pivotal pieces 30 are connected to the opposite ends of the first frame 11 and the second frame 21 and are pivotally connected on the first frame 11 and the second frame 21 by two positioning elements 31 respectively.

[0024] Foundationed on the above structures and designs, please refer to FIGS. 3 and 4 for the descriptions of folding away the spring bed foundation. Firstly, the first frame 11 and the first foundation 12 of the first frame body 10 are moved relatively to each other so that the first supporting frames 13 are disposed horizontally. At the same time, the second frame body 20 is turned over so that the first frame 11 and the first foundation 12 are folded away together. Then, the second frame body 20 is folded towards the first frame body 10 so that the second frame 21 and the second foundation 22 are moved relatively to each other. Then, the second supporting frames 23 are disposed horizontally so that the second frame 21 and the second foundation 22 are folded away on the first frame body 10.

[0025] The spring bed foundation of the present invention can be folded away for convenient transporting and carrying. A plurality of the spring bed foundations can be placed in a truck in order to enhance the economic effectiveness of transporting.

[0026] Please refer to FIG. 5. The spring bed foundation of the present invention is disposed underneath a spring mattress 40. The folding spring bed foundation can be moved in a house for assembling conveniently.

[0027] Note that the specifications relating to the above embodiments should be construed as exemplary rather than as limitative of the present invention, with many variations and modifications being readily attainable by a person of average skill in the art without departing from the spirit or scope thereof as defined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
