[0071] FIGS. 3 and 8 are views schematically illustrating the operation of the press die for bending-curling simultaneous combination forming in accordance with the embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0072] Referring to FIGS. 3 to 8, the operation of the press die for bending-curling simultaneous forming is as follows.

[0073] The stripper 11, the third die 40 and the cam driver 31 are installed at the lower surface of the first die 10 that is provided so as to move vertically.

[0074] The second die 20 is provided at the lower side of the first die 10.

[0075] The cam support portion 32, the guide block 39 and the bending punch 34 are provided on the second die 20. The cam support portion 32 corresponds to the cam driver 31 of the first die 10. The guide block 39 may be configured to guide the vertical movement of the cam driver 31 and the third die 40 while being located at a position spaced apart from the cam support portion 32 by a predetermined interval. The bending punch 34 may be configured to support the workpiece 60 such that the workpiece 60 is mounted on the bending punch 34.

[0076] As the first die 10 moves downward, the workpiece 60 is held by the lower surface 11a of the stripper 11 of the first die 10.

[0077] Referring to FIG. 5, in the state as above, as the first die 10 moves downward further, the first inclination portion 31a of the cam driver 31 makes contact with the second inclination portion 32a of the cam support portion 32.

[0078] As the first inclination portion 31 of the cam driver 31 moves downward further, the second inclination portion 32a making contact with the first inclination portion 31a is pushed, and thus the cam support portion 32 is slid forward.

[0079] As the cam support portion 32 is moved forward, the cam slider 33 connected to the cam support portion 32 through the moving plate 30a is moved forward, and the bending punch 34 fixed to the cam slider 33 is moved forward.

[0080] The bending punch 34 moves the workpiece to the processing position, and the workpiece 60 is mounted on the bending punching upper surface 34a and fixed between the bending punch upper surface 34a and the stripper lower surface 11a.

[0081] If the workpiece 60 is disposed at the processing position, the cam driver 31 and the third die 40 move downward by being guided by the guide block 39, and the bending portion 41 of the third die 40 bends the workpiece 60 being fixed between the stripper 11 and the bending punch 34.

[0082] At the same time of the bending process, the gas spring 38 of the second die 20 operates so that the punch holder 37 moves upward and thus the fourth die 50 moves upward.

[0083] Accordingly, a lower portion of the workpiece 60 is curled by the curling portion 51 of the fourth die 50.

[0084] If the bending process and the curling process are performed on the workpiece 60, the first die 10 is moved upward.

[0085] As the pressing force by the cam driver 31 is removed from the cam support portion 32, the cam slider 33 returns to the original state by the restoring force of the returning member 36.

[0086] At this time, the movement of the cam slider 33 is stopped by the stopper 35.

[0087] As the cam slider 33 returns to the original position, the bending punch 34 fixed to the cam slider 33 returns to the original position.

[0088] As the stripper 11 fixed to the first die 10 and the third die 40 move upward, the fixing of the workpiece 60 is released, thereby enabling a product finished with the bending and the curling to be ejected.

[0089] In this manner, the bending and the curling are simultaneously performed on the workpiece 60, so that the number of forming steps is reduced, thereby improving the productivity.

[0090] In addition, when an undercut shape is formed at the workpiece 60 by the curling process, an additional eject apparatus is not required, so that the number of forming steps is reduced.

[0091] FIG. 9 is a plan view schematically illustrating the press die for bending-curling simultaneous combination forming in accordance with the embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0092] Referring to FIG. 9, the press die 1 for bending-curling simultaneous forming is provided in a rectangular shape.

[0093] The press die 1 for bending-curling simultaneous forming includes four plane forming units 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d, and four edge forming units 22a, 22b, 22c and 22d.

[0094] The press die 1 for bending-curling simultaneous forming enables the finished product to be ejected in a single cycle. To this end, the ejection of the product is performed at the four plane forming units 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d, and then performed at the four edge forming units 22a, 22b, 22c and 22d.

[0095] That is because the moving apparatus 30 with respect to the four edge forming units 22a, 22b, 22c and 22d may be able to move after the movement of the moving apparatus 30 with respect to the four plane forming units 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d.

[0096] Although a few embodiments of the present disclosure have been shown and described, it would be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the disclosure, the scope of which is defined in the claims and their equivalents.
