CHILDRENS ACCESSIBLE SWIMSUIT
Abstract
The present invention is an easily accessible swimsuit that
includes a one-piece swimsuit that includes a u-shaped neck, a pair
of lower openings to accommodate a child's or baby's legs and a
genitalia cover portion disposed between the pair of lower openings
and a fastener that is disposed on the genitalia cover portion of
the one-piece swimsuit and are one or more releasable snaps and
that allow a parent relatively quick and easy access to a child's
or a baby's undergarment or diaper and one or more decorative
features disposed on the u-shaped neck of the one-piece swimsuit
and that include one or more a plurality of decorative ruffles, a
plurality of flowers or bows or other suitable decorative features.
The fasteners can be one or more snaps, buttons, hook and loop
fasteners or zippers.

Claims
1. An easily accessible swimsuit, comprising: a one-piece swimsuit
that includes a u-shaped neck, a pair of lower openings to
accommodate a child's or baby's legs and a genitalia cover portion
disposed between said pair of lower openings; one or more fasteners
that are disposed on said genitalia cover portion of said one-piece
swimsuit and are one or more releasable snaps and that allow a
parent relatively quick and easy access to a child's or a baby's
undergarment or diaper; and one or more decorative features
disposed on said u-shaped neck of said one-piece swimsuit and that
include one or more decorative ruffles, one or more flowers or one
or more bows.
2. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 1, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight material.
3. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 2, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight nylon and spandex
material.
4. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 1, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is designed to fit children in the range of
3 months to 3 years-old.
5. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 1, wherein
said fasteners are one or more snaps that are made of a rust-free
and a waterproof material.
6. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 5, wherein
said snaps are made of stainless steel.
7. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 1, wherein
said fasteners are one or more hook and loop fasteners.
8. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 1, wherein
said fasteners allow said parent to change or adjust said child's
or said baby's undergarment or diaper.
9. An easily accessible swimsuit, comprising: a one-piece swimsuit
that includes a u-shaped neck, a pair of lower openings to
accommodate a child's or baby's legs and a genitalia cover portion
disposed between said pair of lower openings; one or more
waterproof buttons that are disposed on said genitalia cover
portion of said one-piece swimsuit and are one or more releasable
snaps and that allow a parent relatively quick and easy access to a
child's or a baby's undergarment or diaper; and one or more
decorative features disposed on said u-shaped neck of said
one-piece swimsuit and that include one or more one or more
decorative ruffles, one or more flowers or one or more bows.
10. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 9, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight material.
11. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 10, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight nylon and spandex
material.
12. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 9, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is designed to fit children in the range of
3 months to 3 years-old.
13. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 9, wherein
said buttons allow said parent to change or adjust said child's or
said baby's undergarment or diaper.
14. An easily accessible swimsuit, comprising: a one-piece swimsuit
that includes a u-shaped neck, a pair of lower openings to
accommodate a child's or baby's legs and a genitalia cover portion
disposed between said pair of lower openings; a zipper that is
disposed on said genitalia cover portion of said one-piece swimsuit
that allow a parent relatively quick and easy access to a child's
or a baby's undergarment or diaper; and one or more decorative
features disposed on said u-shaped neck of said one-piece swimsuit
and that include one or more decorative ruffles, one or more
flowers or one or more bows.
15. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 14, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight material.
16. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 15, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is made of lightweight nylon and spandex
material.
17. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 14, wherein
said one-piece swimsuit is designed to fit said child or baby in
the range of 3 months to 3 years-old.
18. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 14, wherein
said zipper is waterproof.
19. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 18, wherein
said zipper is made of stainless steel.
20. The easily accessible swimsuit, according to claim 14, wherein
said zipper allow said parent to change or adjust said child's or
said baby's undergarment or diaper.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD & BACKGROUND
[0001] Traditionally, clothing worn in water that is designed for
infants has to be removed completely for bathroom breaks. It can be
difficult and time consuming for a parent to successfully remove a
wet bathing suit to change a child's diaper.
[0002] The present invention generally relates to a children's
swimsuit. More specifically, the invention is a children's
accessible swimsuit.
[0003] It is an object of the invention to provide a children's
accessible swimsuit that can be easily and quickly accessed from a
child.
[0004] It is an object of the invention to provide an easily
accessible swimsuit that utilizes strategically placed fasteners
that an adult can access to accommodate a child during bathroom
breaks.
[0005] It is an object of the invention to provide an easily
accessible swimsuit that protects a child from ultraviolet rays
from the sun.
[0006] What is really needed is a children's accessible swimsuit
that can be easily and quickly removed from a child that utilizes
strategically placed fasteners that an adult can access to
accommodate a child during bathroom breaks and that protects a
child from ultraviolet rays from the sun.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

present invention may be practiced with only some of the described

understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be
apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may
be practiced without the specific details. In other instances,
well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to
obscure the illustrative embodiments.

swimsuit 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present
invention.
[0013] The easily accessible swimsuit 100 includes a one-piece
swimsuit 110, one or more fasteners 120 and one or more decorative
features 130. The one-piece swimsuit 110 has a u-shaped neck 112, a
pair of lower openings 114 to accommodate a child's or a baby's
legs and a genitalia cover portion 116 disposed between the pair of
lower openings 114. The one-piece swimsuit 110 is typically worn
and designed for children and babies in the range of 3 months old
to 3 years old, although the easily accessible swimsuit 100 can be
worn by other suitable children and babies as well. The one-piece
swimsuit 110 is made of lightweight nylon and LYCRA.TM. spandex or
other suitable stretchable synthetic material and also protects the
baby or child wearing the easily accessible swimsuit 100 from
excessive sunlight exposure and ultra-violet rays. The one or more
fasteners 120 are disposed on the genitalia cover portion 116 of
the one-piece swimsuit 110, although the one or more fasteners 120
can be disposed anywhere on the one-piece swimsuit 110 and are
typically one or more releasable snaps 122 that allow a parent
relatively quick and easy access to a child's or baby's diaper,
toddler undergarment or other suitable undergarment to change or
adjust the child's or baby's diaper or perform any other suitable
activity. The one or more fasteners 120 are also made of rust-free
and waterproof material such as stainless steel or other suitable
material. The one or more fasteners 120 can also be a VELCRO.TM.
type hook and loop fastener 122, a zipper 124, a plurality of
buttons 126 or other suitable fasteners (all not shown). The one or
more decorative features 130 are typically disposed on the u-shaped
neck 112 of the one-piece swimsuit 110 and can include one or more
decorative ruffles, one or more flowers and /or one or more bows or
other suitable decorative features. The one or more decorative
features 130 however can be disposed anywhere on the one-piece
swimsuit 110.
[0014] The easily accessible swimsuit is a one piece swimsuit for
toddlers, small children and babies. Comprised of nylon and
LYCRA.TM. spandex, the easily accessible swimsuit affords the
ability to protect a baby's or child's skin from ultra violet rays.
A rust-free, waterproof snap-front closure at the bottom of the
easily accessible swimsuit provides for easy opening and closing so
that parents may quickly and easily change their child's or baby's
diaper or undergarment. The easily accessible swimsuit may be
adorned with ruffles, flowers and bows for added style. The easily
accessible swimsuit may be readily available at retail stores that
sell children's apparel. The easily accessible swimsuit features
three or any suitable number of snap closures at the genitalia
cover portion of a one piece suit for swift and simple removal. The
easily accessible swimsuit is designed in sizes to typically fit
children in the range of 3 months to 3 years-old.

foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that
the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The
present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration
within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the
description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of
restrictive on the present invention.
