can be discharged through a simple pressing operation.
[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art
[0004] In general, container caps are attached to containers to
protect contents stored in the containers and prevent leakage of
the contents.
[0005] In recent years, container caps opened and closed by pulling
a knob in a one-touch fashion are being widely used. However, such
a container cap is accompanied by many troubles when opened so that
various kinds of contents such as flavors, toothpaste, or
shampoo.
[0006] In order to solve the above-described problem, Korean
Utility Model Registration No. 20-0235855 discloses a button type

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0027] Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention
will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying
drawings.
[0028] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a button type container cap 100
according to the present invention includes a body 110 having a
discharge hole 111 at an upper portion thereof, and a cover 120
provided in the body 110 to open and close the discharge hole 111
in a foldable fashion, and further includes a pressing part 140
integrally extending from the body 110 such that if the pressing
part 140 is pressed toward a spaced part 130 formed in the body
110, the cover 120 is unlocked from the body 110, and a resilient
button member 210 one side of which surrounds the pressing part 140
and the spaced part 130 and an opposite side of which is connected
to the cover 120 to resiliently pull the cover 120 at the opposite
side of the resilient button member 210 so that the cover 120 is
rotatably open when the cover 120 is unlocked from the body
110.
[0029] Accordingly, the button type container cap 100 can be
prevented from being damaged due to an external physical force, by
the resilient button member 210 surrounding the pressing part 140
and the spaced part 130, and can be prevented from being deformed
or damaged even if a pressing operation is repeatedly
performed.
[0030] According to the embodiment of the present invention, as
shown in FIG. 3, a sealing boss 121 is preferably formed on an
inner bottom surface of the cover 120 at a location corresponding
to the discharge hole 111 to seal the discharge hole 111 from the
outside when the cover 120 covers an upper side of the body 110. As
shown in FIG. 1, the sealing boss 121 protrudes from the inner
bottom surface of the cover 120 toward the discharge hole 111 in an
annular ring shape.
[0031] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 1, a catching step 141 is formed
at an upper end of the pressing part 140, and an engaging step 123
engaged with the catching step 141 is formed at a portion of an
inner surface of the cover 120 with which the catching step 141
makes contact when the cover 120 is closed.
[0032] The body 110 includes a cover connecting part 150 integrally
connecting the cover 120 to the body 110 such that the cover 120 is
rotatable with respect to the body 110.
[0033] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the resilient button member 210
includes a body upper surface cover 220 surrounding at least a
portion of an upper surface of the body 110, a spaced part cover
230 extending from one side of the body upper surface cover 220 to
surround the spaced part 130, a pressing part cover 240 extending
from the spaced part cover 230 to surround the pressing part 140,
and a cover pulling part 250 extending from an opposite side of the
body upper surface cover 220 and connected to the cover 120.
[0034] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 2, since the resilient button
member 210 including the cover pulling part 250, the pressing part
cover 240, and the body upper surface cover 220 can be easily
integrally formed with the cap body 110, the button type container
cap 100 can be easily manufactured.
[0035] According to the embodiment of the present invention, the
resilient button member 210 is preferably formed of a rubber or
silicon material in the form of a plate.
[0036] Accordingly, the button type container cap 100 can be
prevented from being damaged due to an external physical force, by
the pressing part cover 240 of the resilient button member 210
surrounding the pressing part 140 and the spaced part 130, and can
be prevented from being deformed or damaged even if a pressing
operation is repeatedly performed.
[0037] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the body upper surface cover 220
is formed lengthwise to cross the discharge hole 111 and surround
the upper surface of the body 110 and a cover discharge hole 221 is
formed at a location corresponding to the discharge hole 111, such
that the sealing boss 121 of the cover 120 makes contact with and
is attached to a circumferential area of the cover discharge hole
221 of a surface of the body upper surface cover 220 when the cover
120 is rotated and closed to cover the upper side of the body
110.
[0038] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 3, since a portion of a
surface of the body upper surface cover 220 formed of a resilient
material such as a rubber which makes contact with and is attached
to the sealing boss 121 of the cover 120 is pressed to be hollow, a
sealing performance of the sealing boss 121 is further
improved.
[0039] As shown in FIG. 1, the cover pulling part 250 has a
plurality of bead protrusions 251 formed lengthwise on a plate
surface of the cover pulling part 250.
[0040] Accordingly, since a pulling force (resiliently restoring
force) of the cover pulling part 250 by which the cover 120 is
pulled can be further reinforced by the bead protrusions 251, the
cover 120 can be more promptly and flexibly rotatably open from the
body 110 when the cover 120 is unlocked from the body 110.
[0041] Due to the configuration of the button type container cap
100 according to the present invention, the catching step 141 of
the pressing part 140 and the engaging step 123 of the cover 120
are engaged with each other as shown in FIG. 3. Then, as shown in
FIG. 4A, if a user presses the pressing part cover 240 of the
resilient button member 210, the catching step 141 and the engaging
step 123 are disengaged from each other as the pressing part 140
located on a rear surface of the pressing part cover 240 is moved
toward an inner side of the body 110 through the spaced part 130.
Then, as shown in FIG. 4B, as the cover pulling part 250 of the
resilient button member 210 pulls the opposite side of the cover
120 with a resilient restoring force thereof, the cover 120 is
promptly rotatably open.
[0042] Meanwhile, according to another embodiment of the present
invention, as shown in FIG. 5, the body 110 includes a stopper 160
provided on an inner surface of the body 110 to face the catching
step 141 with the spaced part being interposed therebetween, a
stopper support boss 170 disposed at a rear side of the stopper
160, and an opening support part 180 extending upward from a
location of an outer periphery of the body 110 corresponding to the
cover pulling part 250 to further extend the cover pulling part 250
compulsorily when the cover 120 covers the upper side of the body
110.
[0043] Although the body 110 includes all of the stopper 160, the
stopper support boss 170, and the opening support part 180 in the
embodiment of the present invention, it is apparent that the body
110 may selectively include one or two of the stopper 160, the
stopper support boss 170, and the opening support part 180.
[0044] Accordingly, if a user presses the pressing part cover 240
of the resilient button member 210 to rotate and open the cover
part 120 so that contents in the container are discharged, the
pressing part 140 of the body 110 is pressed toward the spaced part
130. Then, as an additional pressing movement is limited by the
stopper 160, the pressing part 140 can be prevented from being
plastically deformed or damaged by a repeated pressing operation.
Further, as the stopper support boss 170 supports the stopper 160,
the stopper can be prevented from being deformed or damaged.
Further, as the cover pulling part 250 is further extended
compulsorily by the opening support part 180, the cover 120 can be
rotatably open from the body 110 more promptly and flexibly by the
reinforced resilient restoring force when the cover 120 is unlocked
from the body 110 due to a pressing operation of the resilient
button member 210.
[0045] Accordingly, the button type container cap 100 can be
prevented from being damaged due to an external physical force, by
the pressing part cover 240 of the resilient button member 210
surrounding the pressing part 140 and the spaced part 130, and can
be prevented from being deformed or damaged even if a pressing
operation is repeatedly performed.
[0046] In addition, since the resilient button member 210 including
the cover pulling part 250, the pressing part cover 240, and the
body upper surface cover 220 can be easily integrally formed with
the cap body 110 including the pressing part 140 and the spaced
part 130, the button type container cap can be easily
manufactured.
