Description
(A) TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to an auxiliary structure for
facilitating removal of a body covering, and more particularly to
an auxiliary structure that allows a body covering to be easily and
quickly removed from a body part.
(B) DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
[0002] When conducting washing or cleaning works, persons usually
wear waterproof gloves to prevent their hands from being fouled.
Generally, they choose the glove made of impermeable high polymer,
such as a conventional latex glove.
[0003] However, the conventional glove has the following
drawbacks:
[0004] 1. The conventional glove has a smooth inner surface, which
is easily sucked to a user's hand due to vacuum suction and this
may cause a difficulty in removing the glove. Also, this type of
glove may cause discomfort to the user. Furthermore, when wearing
this type of glove, the user's hand is easy to sweat, the sweat
accumulated in the glove will make it more sticky to the skin of
the user's hand, thereby blocking the hot air in the glove from
circulation or emission, and this may bring more discomfort to the
user and may cause more difficulty in removing the glove.
[0005] 2. The conventional glove is usually manufactured in one
size. Thus, it is more difficult for a user having a large hand to
remove a glove from his or her hand. Furthermore, when this
conventional glove encounters the sweat from the user's hand,
removal of the glove will become more difficult.
[0006] Thus, there is a need to develop a glove that can be worn
and removed easily to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional
glove.

auxiliary structure may comprise a plurality of plates being
movably connected, each plate having an inner surface to serve as a
wearing portion for a body part and having an outer surface,
capable of attaching to an inner surface of a body covering, to
serve as an engaging portion; whereby, the auxiliary structure can
be fitted into the body covering to allow one portion of the body
covering not to contact with the body part, and the body covering
can be easily removed from the body part by simultaneously holding
the body covering and the auxiliary structure and applying a
removing force to them.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0029] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an auxiliary structure 1 for
facilitating removal of a body covering according to one embodiment
of the present invention is shown, which comprises two elastic
plates 10 and two connecting pieces 20, wherein two end portions of
each plate 10 are movably connected by using the connecting pieces
20 to allow the auxiliary structure of the present invention to be
fitted in a body covering. Thus, two mutually facing surfaces of
the two plates 10 can constitute wearing portions 11, which define
a through hole or opening that can be opened or closed, to provide
a wearing entrance for a body part and to allow one portion of the
body covering fitted with the auxiliary structure 1 not to be
contacted with the body part, so that the body covering can be
easily removed from the body part, as will be detailed in the
following.
[0030] The plates 10 are made of elastic material, so that they can
be operated with a predetermined elastic deformation. The plates 10
can be overlaid in upper and lower locations, so that one plate is
placed on top of the other plate. The inner surfaces (i.e., the
mutually facing surfaces) of the two plates 10 are formed into
wearing portions 11, whereas the outer surfaces of the two plates
10 are formed into engaging portions 12.
[0031] The connecting pieces 20 can be an elastic and deflectable
film piece, such as a tape.
[0032] Each plate 10 has two adhesive end portions, wherein the
outer surface and the inner surface of each end portion are
provided with adhesive. Alternatively, one surface of each
connecting piece 20 is provided with adhesive, so that the plates
10 can be movably connected by the connecting pieces 20.
[0033] Turning now to FIGS. 3 and 4, although the auxiliary
structure 1 of the present invention is applied to a glove 30 for
illustrating the present invention, the auxiliary structure 1 can
also be applied to other types of body covering, such as socks or
condoms, and those applications are also deemed within the scope of
the present invention.
[0034] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the auxiliary structure 1 of the
present invention can be fitted into the opening of the glove 30,
to facilitate a user to remove the glove 30 from the user's hand
(i.e., a body part).
[0035] In the embodiment, the glove 30 is a type of latex glove,
thus it is embodied with contracting elasticity. Also, since the
lengthwise dimension of the auxiliary structure 1 is slightly
greater than the inner diameter of the opening of the glove 30, the
auxiliary structure 1 can be easily fitted into the opening of the
glove 30 due to the function of the contracting elasticity, and
thus the engaging portions 12 of the plates 10 can be snugly
attached to an inner surface defining the opening of the glove 30.
Also, the engaging portions 12 of the plates 10 can be attached to
an inner surface defining the opening of the glove 30 by adhesive,
hot bond, or other techniques, to ensure a secure attachment
between the auxiliary structure 1 and the glove 30
[0036] Since the plates 10 are flatly overlaid in upper and lower
locations, the auxiliary structure 1 of the present invention would
occupy less space, so that the plates 10 can be stocked
conveniently.
[0037] Turning now to FIG. 5, in use, a user may hold and compress
two opposing sides of the glove 30 at the portion fitted with the
auxiliary structure 1 (i.e., the movably connecting portions of the
plates 10) to allow the two plates 10 to be outwardly deformed,
based on the connecting portions at two ends thereof, so as to form
a substantially circular opening, which has a dimension greater
than that of a clenched hand of a user, so that the user's hand can
pass the wearing portions 11 of the plates 10 to enter the gloves
30. Thus, the glove 30 can be easily worn on one hand of the
user.
[0038] Turning now to FIG. 6, when the user is not compressing two
opposing sides of the glove 30 at the portion fitted with the
auxiliary structure 1, the plates 10 can restore to its original
shape, by its elasticity, and can again contact the user's wrist,
so that the auxiliary structure 1 of the present invention can
engage with the user's wrist, so that the auxiliary structure 1 can
be firmly positioned on the user's wrist, and would not slip to the
user's hand, to avoid interfering with an operation of the
user.
[0039] Turning now to FIGS. 7 and 8, when the glove 30 is not
needed, the user may compress two opposing sides of the glove 30 at
the portion fitted with the auxiliary structure 1, to allow the
wearing portions 11 to form a substantially circular opening again.
Thus, one portion of the glove 30 can be spaced from the user's
hand. At the same time, the user may hold the glove 30 by his or
her other hand and apply a removing force to the glove 30 together
with the auxiliary structure 1, so that the glove 30 can be easily
and quickly removed from the user's hand.
[0040] As shown in FIG. 7A, a user may clench his or her hand to
allow the hand to pass through the wearing portions 11 of the
auxiliary structure 1.
[0041] Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, in the process of removing the
glove 30, although some portion of the glove 30 may be entangled in
the auxiliary structure 1 due to the contracting elasticity of the
material of the glove 30 involved in the removing process, the user
can directly pull the glove 30 out of the hand inserted therein, or
the user can hold two opposing sides of the glove 30 at the portion
fitted with the auxiliary structure 1 by the other hand and then
quickly throw the hand, inserted in the glove 20, out of the glove
30.
[0042] Referring next to FIG. 11, a second embodiment of the
auxiliary structure 1 of the present invention is shown, wherein
each plate 10 defines two triangular notches 13 respectively at two
end portions thereof, whereas each connecting piece 20 defines an
opening 21 corresponding the notches 13 at the corresponding end
portions of the plates 10, so that the notches 13 can be exposed
outside of the connecting pieces 20. Referring next to FIG. 12,
when the second embodiment of the auxiliary structure is fitted
into the opening of a glove 30, the plates 10 would not be totally
fitted into the glove 30. Due to the contracting elasticity of the
glove 30, the edge around the opening of the glove 30 can be fitted
in the notches 13 of the plates 10, to provide the auxiliary
structure 1 with anti-slip capability, so that the second
embodiment of the auxiliary structure can be fitted into the glove
30 more securely.
[0043] Turning now to FIGS. 13 and 14, a third embodiment of the
auxiliary structure of the present invention is shown, which
comprises four elastic plates 10 being movably connected by four
connecting pieces 20. When vertically compressing force is applied
to the third embodiment of the auxiliary structure, since the
number of the plates 10 is four and they are divided into two
groups, wherein each group includes two plates, and one group is
capable of being flatly overlaid on the other group, so that the
third embodiment of the present invention would occupy less space
to facilitate a storage. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 15, in use,
the third embodiment of the present invention can be firstly
compressed to form a flatly overlaid structure including two groups
of plates 10. Then, with the contacting elasticity of the glove 30,
the third embodiment of the auxiliary structure can be easily
fitted into the opening of a glove 30, and the engaging portions 12
of the plates 10 can be snugly engaged with an inner surface of the
glove 30.
[0044] As shown in FIG. 16, after the third embodiment of the
auxiliary structure is fitted into the glove 30, the user may
compress two opposing plates 10 of the third embodiment to allow
them to form a pair of vertical plates facing each other. In this
situation, the other two opposing plates 10 of the third embodiment
can form into a pair of outwardly curved plates facing each other
based on the connecting portions at the end portions of the plates
10, so that a passage of a predetermined size can be defined
between the plates to facilitate the user's hand to be inserted
into or removed from the glove 30, so that the third embodiment of
the auxiliary structure can be easily worn on or removed from the
user's hand.
[0045] Although the present invention has been described with a
certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present
disclosure is made by way of example only and the combination and
arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the
spirit and scope of the invention hereinafter claimed.
