Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a cup sleeve, especially to
a cup sleeve with a container capable of storing things.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Arts
[0004] More and more shops sell beverages like coffee. Besides
traditional coffee shops or cafes, fast food restaurants and
convenience stores now sell coffee as well. The most common
container for those shops to sell take-out coffee is a cup. When
the customers buy hot beverage, a cup sleeve is usually provided.
When the cup sleeve is mounted around the cup with hot beverage,
the user holds the cup sleeve rather than directly holding the cup
itself so that the cup sleeve keeps the user from being burned by
the beverage.
[0005] Nowadays, to increase the efficiency of making coffee,
packed seasonings like sugar or dairy products like coffee cream
are available in many shops, so that the customers can add them in
coffee by themselves. If the customers are not to enjoy the coffee
right upon purchase, the customers do not immediately add the
packed seasonings into coffee. Therefore, the customers have to
find some place to store those packed seasonings, such as in
pockets or bags.
[0006] However, the customer may have no pockets or bags, or may
have a full pocket or a full bag. Thus, finding a place to store
those packed seasonings becomes inconvenient to the customers.
[0007] To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides
a cup sleeve with a container to mitigate or obviate the
aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The main objective of the present invention is to provide a
cup sleeve with a container that is convenient to carry small
things.
[0009] The cup sleeve with a container in accordance with the
present invention has a sleeve body and a container. The container
is attached securely to an outside wall of the sleeve body, and the
container has an inner cavity and a top opening. With the container
attached to the sleeve body, the customers can put the packed
seasonings like sugar, coffee cream or even cookies in the
container.
[0010] Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the
invention will become more apparent from the following detailed
description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of a cup
sleeve with a container in accordance with the present invention;
and
[0012] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of a cup
sleeve with a container in accordance with the present
invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] With reference to FIG. 1, a cup sleeve with a container in
accordance with the present invention comprises a sleeve body 10
and a container 20.
[0014] The container 20 is attached securely to an outside wall of
the sleeve body 10 and has an inner cavity and a top opening 21. A
top edge beside the opening 21 of the container 20 aligns with an
upper periphery of the sleeve body 10. A bottom of the container 20
extends below a lower periphery of the sleeve body 10. In a
preferred embodiment, the container 20 is glued securely to the
sleeve body 10.
[0015] When the cup sleeve with a container as described is in use,
the sleeve body 10 is mounted around a suitable cup 30. With the
container 20 attached to the sleeve body 10, the users put the
packed seasonings like sugar, coffee cream or even cookies in the
container 20. Besides, the sleeve body 10 also keeps the user from
being burned.
[0016] In another preferred embodiment as shown in FIG. 2, the
container 20A has a first sidewall 22A, two second sidewalls 23A, a
third sidewall 24A and a closed bottom. The first sidewall 22A is
attached to the sleeve body 10A. The second sidewalls 23A are
attached oppositely to the first sidewall 22A. Each second sidewall
23A has at least one crease 25A formed on the second sidewall 23A.
The third sidewall 24A is formed between the second sidewalls 23A.
The closed bottom has at least one crease 25A formed on the closed
bottom. Thus, the container 20A can be pressed to become flat when
not used and further saves space.
[0017] In another preferred embodiment, the top edge beside the
opening of the container extends above the upper periphery of the
sleeve body. The bottom of the container aligns with the lower
periphery of the sleeve body.
[0018] In another preferred embodiment, the container and the
sleeve body are formed integratedly and formed by plastic injection
molding.
[0019] Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the
present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description,
together with details of the structure and features of the
invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made
in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and
arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the
full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in
which the appended claims are expressed.
