Cigarette paper dispenser
Abstract
The invention relates to a cigarette paper dispenser comprising
a substantially cylindrical body (1) with a coaxial cylindrical
cavity, having a longitudinal slit (11) that extends along the
generatrix the entire length of the body (1), allowing the passage
of paper unrolled from the roll. The cylindrical body (1) is closed
at the bases thereof by means of two caps (3) and (4). The
aforementioned slit (41) is closed by a lid (2) articulated
longitudinally with the periphery of the body (1) and having a
semi-circumferential configuration with a profiled free edge (21)
forming a sharp, cutting or serrated edge that is positioned
adjacent to one end of the roll of paper, the desired length of
which is extracted axially and cut from the roll.

located adjacent to the end of the roll of paper, allowing to cut
the potion of paper taken from the spliff (1).
2. Cigarette paper dispenser according to claim 1, wherein one of
the lateral plugs (4) is associated with a stem (42) that runs

generatricial window (11).
4. Cigarette paper dispenser according to claim 1, characterized in
that the body (1) has a length that extends beyond their own paper
included in it, presenting an inner disc (6) as a stopper, which
defines a first cavity for the paper unwinds and leaves through the
window length (11) and a second cavity to the opposite side, open a
window (12) more extensive than the previous (11), in which nozzles
or items are stored smoking accessories.
Description
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a dispenser of cigarette
paper from a roll of paper. This dispenser can also be applied on
paper rolls, aluminum foil or plastic food, especially for domestic
use, although this is not the object of the present invention.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Currently various paper dispensers are known, particularly
household paper, which has rolled into a cylinder, from which
extracts the desired length by pulling the free end of the roll in
the axial direction.
[0003] The domestic paper dispensers generally have a body designed
to support the roll by means of a horizontal roller passing through
a cardboard tube, which rolls on the material forming the roll, so
as to allow the user to unroll and tear sheets of the desired
length.
[0004] The arrangement of the domestic paper dispensers is not
valid when it comes to cigarette paper, among other reasons because
it is also necessary to protect the roll to fit in any pocket
without being deformed and therefore unusable. For this reason,
increased consumption of cigarette paper is paper that is
manufactured in sheets, mounted in a case such booklet. This
involves some disadvantages when consuming paper and is only
possible to have a standard size paper and therefore smoking is
also a standard size.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The rolls of cigarette paper, with a sideband sticker to
facilitate the closure of the cigarettes allow cigarette rolling of
any length reason why they are widely accepted by smokers of
tobacco. However, in contrast to domestic paper rolls, which uses a
central tube of cardboard or a less deformable material, rolls of
cigarette paper do not have this type of support, to minimize their
size and facilitate its location in any pocket, from this cause it
is necessary to prevent deformation of the roll to be able to draw
a slip of paper and cut it accurately. Thus, the main purpose of
the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks mentioned
above, reaching the result that has the characteristics described
in the significant part of claim 1.
[0006] The dispenser comprises a substantially cylindrical body
defining a cylindrical cavity coaxial interior, fitted with a
longitudinal window that extends along the entire length of the
body to allow passage of the paper that is unwound from the roll.
The sides are closed by two lids that fit and are set without
possibility of rotation through neural pathways that are located on
the longitudinal ends of the window.
[0007] This window is closed by a lid, which articulates
longitudinally in the periphery of the body and has a
semi-circumferential configuration adopted, when closed, a position
above the mentioned window. The free edge of the lid has a profile
that defines a sharp edge, cutting or ribbed, which is located
adjacent to one end of the roll of paper, allowing to cut the
portion of paper taken from the whole roll.
[0008] This smoking paper dispenser may include replaceable rolls;
to this end it is envisaged that one of the side plugs is
associated with a straight shaft, which runs through the axial hole
of the roll of paper and attached to the other lateral pressure
cap, allowing the removal and placement of the first to change the
roll of paper and place a new one.
[0009] Fixing the lid to the holder body is performed through a
simple sticker, which holds the combination of both bodies, except
in the area corresponding to the longitudinal window. The hinge and
the fixation of the lid to the main body is allowed by this
sticker, which at the same time serves as a place to offer the data
and brands of the product.
[0010] In an alternative embodiment, the holder body has a length
that extends beyond their own paper included inside. In this case,
it has an inner disk as a cap, which delimits a first cavity for
the unwinding paper and goes through a longitudinal window as
described above and a second cavity to the opposite side, which is
opened by a wider window than the previous, having designed the
cavity to keep the cigarette nozzles or smoking accessories
items.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] To complement the description being made and in order to
facilitate understanding of the features of the invention, attached
to this specification there are a set of drawings in which, for
purposes of illustration and not limitation, is represented as
follows:
[0012] FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 show respective perspective views of a
dispenser made in accordance with the invention, respectively in
the closed position, with the lid open and their ordnance
components.
[0013] FIG. 4 shows paths plan views, elevation and profile of the
dispenser.
[0014] FIG. 5 shows a perspective view with separated parts in a
variant embodiment of the smoking paper dispenser of the
invention.
[0015] FIG. 6 shows several plan and elevation views of a dispenser
having an accessory cavity for nozzles or similar elements.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0016] As can be seen in the figures referenced, the device of the
invention comprises a cylindrical spliff (1), hollow, provided with
a generatrix window (11) and both lids (3) and/or (4) that fit on
the edges of the spliff (1). These caps have respectively small
projections (31) and (41) that fit into the slot or window (11), so
it locks in a fixed position. The ends (3) are fixed and can be
attached to the body (1), cap (4) is provided with a rod (42) that
is inserted inside the paper roll and pressure latches on the lid
(3) located on the opposite side as well, two embodiments are
possible: [0017] The one shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 in which the lid (4)
is provided by the aforementioned rod (42) and thus is removable
and therefore the paper roll can be replaced by a new one. [0018]
The solution depicted in FIG. 5 corresponds to a disposable
dispenser, because when it runs out of paper another roll cannot be
replaced because the ends (3) are fixed.
[0019] The body of the spliff (1) has a cover (2), which has a
semi-circumferential section and hinges on a lateral area with
respect to the window (11), so that when you close it stands above
it, covering it. The hinge is formed by the sticker itself (5) of
the product that sticks over the body (1) and the lid (2) partially
clothed except for the window (11). It is also envisaged that the
edge (21) of the cap (2) presents a contoured cut that allows to
cut the inside of the paper roll as extracted axially once the
stretched the desired length.
[0020] FIG. 6 shows a cigarette-paper dispenser that has a greater
length than the own paper included inside. Inside has an inner disc
(6) as a cap, which delimits a first cavity for the paper that is
to be unwounded and exits through the longitudinal window (11) and
a second cavity to the opposite side, opened by a window (12),
bigger than the previous (11), in which interior you can keep
nozzles or smoking accessories.
[0021] Having sufficiently described the nature of the invention
and a preferred embodiment, it is stated that the materials, shape,
size and arrangement of the elements described can be modified,
provided that this does not alter essential features of the
invention as claimed below.
