The bottom plate has a rear end pivotally connected with the rear frame and has a front end abutting the front panel. The rear frame has two opposite ends each provided with at least one mounting bracket pivotally connected with the rear end of a respective one of the two side plates. The front panel has two opposite ends each provided with at least one mounting seat pivotally connected with the front end of a respective one of the two side plates. The front panel has a lower end provided with at least one stop piece abutting a bottom of the front end of the bottom plate. The rear frame has a side provided with at least one hanging hook. The rear frame has a lower end provided with at least one pivot sleeve pivotally connected with the rear end of the bottom plate. Each of the two side plates has a middle portion provided with at least one movable snaps

[0006] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a placement rack that can be folded when not in use.

[0007] According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the placement rack can be folded to have a smaller volume to decrease the cost in packaging, storage and transportation of the placement rack.

[0008] According to another advantage of the present invention, the rear frame has a side provided with at least one hanging hook so that a plurality of placement racks are connected by the hanging hooks.

[0009] Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)

[0010] FIG 1 is a perspective view of a placement rack in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0011] FIG 2 is an exploded perspective view of the placement rack as shown in FIG 1.

[0012] FIG 3 is a locally perspective enlarged view of a front panel of the placement rack as shown in FIG 2.

[0013] FIG 4 is a perspective folded view of the placement rack as shown in FIG 1.

[0014] FIG 5 is a schematic operational view of the placement rack as shown in FIG 1 in use.

[0015] FIG 6 is a perspective view of a placement rack in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0016] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS 1-3, a placement rack 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a rear frame 11, two side plates 14 pivotally connected with the rear frame 11, a front panel 13 pivotally connected with the two side plates 14, and a bottom plate 12 pivotally connected with the rear frame 11 and abutting the front panel 13.

[0017] The two side plates 14 are pivotally connected between the rear frame 11 and the front panel 13. Each of the two side plates 14 has a rear end 140 pivotally connected with the rear frame 11 and has a front end 142 pivotally connected with the front panel 13.

[0018] The bottom plate 12 has a rear end 120 pivotally connected with the rear frame 11 and has a front end 121 abutting the front panel 13.

[0019] The rear frame 11 has two opposite ends 110 each provided with at least one mounting bracket 111 pivotally connected with the rear end 140 of a respective one of the two side plates 14. Thus, the rear end 140 of each of the two side plates 14 is pivotable about the respective mounting bracket 111 of the rear frame 11 so that each of the two side plates 14 is pivotable relative to the rear frame 11. The rear frame 11 has a side provided with at least one hanging hook 112. The rear frame 11 has a lower end 113 provided with at least one pivot sleeve 114 pivotally connected with the rear end 120 of the bottom plate 12. Thus, the rear end 120 of the bottom plate 12 is pivotable about the pivot sleeve 114 of the rear frame 11 so that each of the bottom plate 12 is pivotable relative to the rear frame 11.

[0020] The front panel 13 has two opposite ends 130 each provided with at least one mounting seat 131 pivotally connected with the front end 142 of a respective one of the two side plates 14. Thus, the front end 142 of each of the two side plates 14 is pivotable about the respective mounting seat 131 of the front panel 13 so that each of the two side plates 14 is pivotable relative to the front panel 13. The front panel 13 has a lower end 133 provided with at least one stop piece 132 (FIG 3) abutting a bottom of the front end 121 of the bottom plate 12. The stop piece 132 of the front panel 13 has a curved shape. The front end 121 of the bottom plate 12 is detachably placed on and supported by the stop piece 132 of the front panel 13.

[0021] When a user wishes to fold the placement rack 1, the rear end 120 of the bottom plate 12 is pivoted about the pivot sleeve 114 of the rear frame 11 so that the bottom plate 12 is pivoted upward to abut the rear frame 11. Then, the two side plates 14 are pivoted sideward relative to the rear frame 11 to move the front panel 13 toward the rear frame 11 as shown in FIG 4 so that the front panel 13 is moved to abut the rear frame 11 so as to fold the placement rack 1.

[0022] When the user wishes to expand the placement rack 1, the two side plates 14 are pivoted outward relative to the rear frame 11 from the position as shown in FIG 4 to the position as shown in FIG 1 so as to move the front panel 13 outward relative to the rear frame 11 so that the front panel 13 is moved to space from the rear frame 11. Then, the rear end 120 of the bottom plate 12 is pivoted about the pivot sleeve 114 of the rear frame 11 so that the bottom plate 12 is pivoted downward relative to the rear frame 11, and the front end 121 of the bottom plate 12 is moved downward to abut the stop piece 132 of the front panel 13 so as to expand the placement rack 1 as shown in FIG 1.

[0023] As shown in FIG 5, a plurality of placement racks 1 are connected by the hanging hooks 112.

[0024] As shown in FIG 6, each of the two side plates 14 has a middle portion provided with at least one movable snaps 141 so that each of the two side plates 14 is folded easily and quickly.

[0025] Accordingly, the placement rack 1 can be folded to have a smaller volume to decrease the cost in packaging, storage and transportation of the placement rack 1. In addition, the rear frame 11 has a side provided with at least one hanging hook 112 so that a plurality of placement racks 1 are connected by the hanging hooks 112.

[0026] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
