as to be pivotably connected with first and second pedals. Two
first protrusions extend from the first and second pedals
respectively. Two side extensions respectively extend from two ends
of the frame. A rod is connected to the mediate portion of the
frame by an angle adjusting member. Two second protrusions extend
from two sides of the rod respectively. Two resilient bands are
respectively connected to the two first protrusions and the two
second protrusions. The angle adjusting member adjusts the tensions
of the two resilient bands. Two extension portions are respectively
connected to the two side extensions and each extension portion has
a support rod. The first and second pedals each have multiple
positioning holes facing the support rod so as to adjust the angle
of stretching.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a leg stretching device,
and more particularly, to a leg stretching device which is able to
adjust the tension of the resilient bands and the angle for
stretching.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] There are many exercisers providing different functions for
training different parts of the users' body, such as treadmills,
sit-ups exercisers, weight-lifting exercisers, and pull-up
exercisers. However, there is no such a device for stretching
user's legs. A conventional leg stretching device cannot adjust the
tension of the resilient bands and the angle of how the users can
stretch their legs, and this makes the exercising to be boring and
the users tend to give up the use of the conventional leg
stretching device.
[0003] The present invention intends to provide a device that
provides at least two resilient bands for stretching the user's
legs and the tension of the resilient bands can be adjusted
according needs. The user can also adjust the angle of stretching
so as to stretch different part of muscles of legs.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention relates to a leg stretching device and
comprises a frame having multiple lugs on two sides thereof and
first and second pedals are pivotably connected to the lugs
respectively. Two first protrusions extend from the first and
second pedals respectively and two side extensions respectively
extend from two ends of the frame. A rod is connected to the
mediate portion of the frame by an angle adjusting member. Two
second protrusions extend from two sides of the rod respectively.
Two resilient bands are respectively connected to the two first
protrusions and the two second protrusions. The angle adjusting
member adjusts tensions of the two resilient bands. Two extension
portions are respectively connected to the two side extensions and
each extension portion has a support rod connected thereto. The
first and second pedals each have multiple positioning holes facing
the support rod so as to adjust the angle for stretching.
[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a
leg stretching device wherein the tension of the resilient bands of
the device and the angle for stretching can be adjusted.
[0006] The present invention will become more obvious from the
following description when taken in connection with the
accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration
only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present
invention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0007] FIG. 1 is an exploded view to show the leg stretching device
of the present invention;
[0008] FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show the leg stretching
device of the present invention;
[0009] FIG. 3 is a perspective view to show that the rod is
adjusted relative to the frame so as to adjust the tension of the
resilient bands of the present invention;
[0010] FIG. 4 shows that the angles of the pedals relative to the
frame are adjusted;
[0011] FIG. 5 shows a user treads the pedals of the device of the
present invention, and
[0012] FIG. 6 shows the user's legs are stretched by using the leg
stretching device of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, the leg stretching device of the
present invention comprises a frame 10 having multiple lugs 11 on
two sides thereof First and second pedals 20, 30 each have a free
end pivotably connected to the lugs 11. Two first protrusions 21,
31 extend from the first and second pedals 20, 30 respectively so
as to stably put the frame 10 on a floor. Two side extensions 12,
13 respectively extend from two ends of the frame 10.
[0014] A rod 40 is connected to the mediate portion of the frame 10
by an angle adjusting member 60 and two second protrusions 41, 42
extend from two sides of the rod 40 respectively. Two resilient
bands 50, 51 are respectively connected to the two first
protrusions 21, 31 and the two second protrusions 41, 42. The angle
adjusting member 60 is able to adjust tensions of the two resilient
bands 50, 51.
[0015] Two extension portions 71, 72 are respectively connected to
the two side extensions 12, 13 and each extension portion 71/72 has
a support rod 73/74 connected thereto. The first and second pedals
20, 30 each have multiple positioning holes 22/32 facing the
support rod 74/73 so as to adjust the stretching angles.
[0016] A through hole 61 is defined in the rod 40 and two
fan-shaped plates 62, 63 are respectively located on two sides of
the rod 40 and located corresponding to the through hole 61. Each
fan-shaped plate 62/63 has multiple curved notches 64. A pin 65
extends through the through hole 61 and engaged with one of the
curved notches 64 of each of the fan-shaped plates 62, 63 to set up
an angle of the rod 40 relative to the frame 10 so as to adjust the
tension of the resilient bands 50, 51.
[0017] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the angle adjusting member 60
adjusts the rod 40 relative to the frame 10 so as to adjust the
tension of the resilient bands 50, 51 such that the users obtain
different resistance when treading the first and second pedals 20,
30. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, by engaging the support rods 73, 74
with the positioning holes 22, 32 located at the underside of the
first and second pedals 20, 30, the stretching angle can be
adjusted.
[0018] While we have shown and described the embodiment in
accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those
skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without
departing from the scope of the present invention.
