Description
[0001] The present invention refers to a set of base and a stove
burner spreading cap, said base having a smooth geometry, as well
as a removable spreading cap having also a smooth geometry, which
is able to deliver increased efficiency in food heating process,
thereby reducing its preparation time and facilitating the cleaning
of said set by the user.
[0002] Additionally, the present invention refers to a stove burner
spreading cap, the same being substantially geometrically smooth
and provided with primary and secondary gantries which are radially
directed towards the base center.
[0003] Finally, the present invention refers to a stove provided
with a set of base and flame spreading cap according to teachings
of the present invention.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] In recent years too many efforts have been made to deliver
new resources and functionalities to domestic devices or
equipment.
[0005] Today, a significant number of different devices provides
increased comfort and security to final consumers, by means of
innovative and practical solutions. Sometimes daily activities are
facilitated by a wide range of instruments or devices.
[0006] For applications involving the use of stoves and/or
cooktops, new technologies are in development aiming to facilitate
users tasks, or even to increase efficiency of products and process
involved.
[0007] More particularly, for cases associated with stove burners,
solutions of the technical state are not provided with a system
combining heating efficiency and facility for the burner cleaning
process, as proposed in the present invention.
[0008] Conventional stove burners are usually implemented by at
least two removable parts, the same having a geometry which does
not benefit both food heating process and burner cleaning.
[0009] Such conventional geometry is provided with "live corners",
which allow impurities to accumulate, in addition to making its
cleaning difficult.
[0010] Moreover, flame produced by said geometry does not
contribute to an optimized food heating, since the output angle of
combustion air mixture is horizontal, resulting in higher
losses.
[0011] Some solutions of the technical state try to solve stove
burner production and/or manufacture shortcomings; however, most of
them do not yet meet the requirements of a better heating
efficiency and facility of cleaning.
[0012] Japanese patent JP 62091728 refers to a gas burning device
intended to prepare food. This device is provided with a gas burner
top structure formed by flat plates.
[0013] Said Japanese document further describes a tray located at
the center of the burner. However, the specific constructive
characteristics, mainly the central tray geometry, present
significant differences in face of the present invention, mainly by
the structure and geometry proposed.
[0014] Gas burner described in U.S. Pat. No. 5,865,615 comprises a
base and a central part (Burner Cap), said part being
removable.
[0015] Although the U.S. Pat. No. 5,865,615 patent document
describes the use of a removable central part, significant
differences of the burner described in the present invention can be
noted, mainly regarding configuration of said part and burning body
structure.
[0016] British patent GB 907619 refers to the mounting of a gas
burner for domestic use.
[0017] More particularly, the gas burner described in the British
document comprises a metallic grid which is able to support several
kinds of materials to receive the desirable heating.
[0018] According to teachings of British document GB 907619, the
gas burner described presents different and important constructive
characteristics in face of the object of the invention herein
proposed, especially in respect of a burner formed by two parts
only, one of which being removable to facilitate cleaning of the
equipment.
[0019] The Japanese document JP 2001215019 published on Aug. 10,
2001 refers to a stove provided with a burner which is able to fit
in a wide range of slots existing in the so called "flame base".
The burner presents two surfaces--top and bottom--which form the
"flame base".
[0020] The Japanese document JP 2001215019 describes different
characteristics in face of the invention herein described,
especially in respect of application of a sole removable part to
assist cleaning process thereof, as well as a configuration to
increase burning efficiency.
[0021] U.S. Pat. No. 6,170,479 refers to a cooking area provided
with a surface composed of glass or ceramic. The cooking area
comprises a gas burner whose structure is easily assembled and
disassembled through a circular fastening mean.
[0022] It treats of a non-relevant anteriority in face of the
present invention, as the existence of a burner body and a
removable central part are not defined in said document.
[0023] Therefore, the present invention offers a new solution for
gas burners, mainly by the use of a structure formed by at least
one removable part, the set being configured so as to facilitate
cleaning thereof, in addition to increase food heating efficiency.
The improved burn reduces the food preparation time, further
contributing to a combustion gas saving.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
[0024] A first purpose of the present invention is to propose a set
of base and flame-spreading cap of a gas stove burner, said base
having a smooth geometry, as well as a removable spreading cap
which also has a smooth geometry, which is able to deliver
increased efficiency in food heating process, thus reducing
preparation time thereof and facilitating the cleaning of said set
by the user.
[0025] A second purpose of the present invention is to propose a
stove burner flame-spreading cap, the same being substantially
geometrically smooth and provided with primary and secondary
gantries which are radially directed towards the base center.
[0026] It is further a purpose of the present invention to propose
a stove provided with a base set and a spreading cap, according to
teaching of the present invention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0027] A first purpose of the present invention is reached through
the provision of a base set and a spreading base of a stove burner,
the base being able to support the cap in a fitting cavity, the cap
being provided with primary and secondary gantries both flame
guiders located at the outmost periphery of the cap, the primary
and secondary gantries being radially projected from the base
center.
[0028] Additionally, a second purpose of the present invention
provides a stove burner spreading cap, the cap being substantially
circular, the outmost periphery of the cap being provided with
radially projected primary and secondary gantries.
[0029] Finally, a third purpose of the present invention provides a
stove having a set of base and flame spreading cap, according to
teachings of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0041] FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of the set of base and
stove flame spreading cap under the present invention and parts
thereof.
[0042] As mentioned before, nowadays the technical state solution
counts on a set and/or stove burner provided with at least two
removable parts, the same being constituted of varied materials and
assembled in a structure which does not allow an easy cleaning of
the burner body by the user.
[0043] The present invention, which will now be described in
details, provides a most simplified structure for the burner base,
which may be cleaned by the user in a more effective manner, as
well as a combustion gas saving, as the heating process is
benefited by a flame angle being more directed to the container to
be heated.
[0044] Thus, while in the present invention the heated combustion
products are directed regarding the pan, in the conventional burns
this directioning is performed through the air thrust.
[0045] In this last case, the flame presents a lower speed in the
route of the pan, thereby resulting in a lower Nusselt number.
[0046] Thus, losses presented by the present invention are lower
compared to the previous techniques, due to directioning of the jet
obtained by the present solution, further contributing for the
increased yield of the burner.
[0047] As it can be noted in FIG. 1, the set of base and stove
burner spreading cap 1, herein described, comprises a base 200
which is able to support the cap 4 in a fitting cavity 5, as shown
in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 in more details.
[0048] Preferably, the fitting profile herein proposed for the cap
4 is described in FIG. 4, however other fitting forms and
geometries can be used for conception of the present burner.
[0049] The cap 4 is a removable central part of the present
invention.
[0050] Fitting cavity 5 is the region where the combustion gas
flows to the subsequent ignition of the combustion air mixture.
[0051] As already mentioned, the present invention counts on a
simplified and efficient structure, when compared to previous
techniques, in order to provide a more effective cleaning and an
increased heating efficiency from the configuration proposed to the
cap 4.
[0052] According to teachings of the present invention, cap 4 is
provided with primary gantries 15 and secondary gantries 25, both
flame guiders located in the outmost periphery 300 of cap 4.
[0053] These primary gantries 15 and secondary gantries 25 are
radially projected from the base center 200, as it can be noted by
FIG. 1. As it can be further noted by FIG. 1, said base 200 is
substantially geometrically smooth.
[0054] The present invention has primary gantries 15 formed in a
smooth profile compared to conventional burners, usually
manufactured with circular and/or rectangular gantries, which make
its cleaning difficult and cause accumulation of residues.
[0055] In this case, the user, or final consumer, may easily clean
the set of base and spreading cap 1, according to the object herein
proposed, with application of a single sponge, in view of the ease
of access allowed by the developed product.
[0056] Preferably, the primary gantries 15 are configured in a
substantially concave shape and the secondary gantries 25
configured in a substantially convex shape.
[0057] However, other shapes offering the same facility of access
to the set 1 may be used in the manufacture of cap 4.
[0058] These primary gantries 15 and secondary gantries 25 are
further able to provide a continuous flame, the same being
projected to reach a substantially high angle regarding the plan of
base 200.
[0059] Due to this flame characteristic, the present invention
counts on a structure conceived for a better heat exchange with the
container, or product to be heated with the set 1, due to the shape
of said primary gantries 15, thus providing, as already mentioned,
a gas saving and an increased heating efficiency, thereby reducing
food preparation time.
[0060] Moreover, the smooth shape of primary gantries 15, without
the presence of "live corners", prevents accumulation of dirt, such
as usually is found in conventional burners.
[0061] FIGS. 1 to 3, and particularly FIG. 1, further illustrate
the association of base 200 with a side portion 100.
[0062] Said side portion 100 is associated preferably with a side
gas injection nozzle 2, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. Said nozzle 2,
located in the side portion 100, prevents impurities--or food--as
well from accumulating inside of it, which would significantly
jeopardize gas output and heating process of foods with obstruction
of said injection nozzle 2.
[0063] Alternatively, the present invention can be developed with
the gas input being directed to the bottom of the base 200, or
further for several positions.
[0064] FIG. 5 shows the union of lateral portion 100 with base 200.
This union, or coupling, can be used for a wide range of fastening
means.
[0065] This structure further allows manufacture of the base,
according to the present invention, in a simplified manner,
together with the manufacture of the stove table top, in such a way
the table and the base will constitute a single piece.
[0066] As already described and detailed in FIGS. 8-10, the present
invention provides a stove burner spreading cap provided with an
optimized and innovative configuration in face of products
commercially available nowadays.
[0067] As it can be noted in FIGS. 8-10, the cap 4 is substantially
circular, the same being provided with a more external periphery
300 configured in radially projected primary gantries 15 and
secondary gantries 25.
[0068] Once more, it should be pointed out that primary gantries 15
are configured in a substantially concave shape, in order to meet
requirements of better heating and burner cleaning, the secondary
gantries 25 being configured in a substantially convex shape. It
can be further noted that in FIG. 1 said cap 4 is constructed in a
substantially smooth shape.
[0069] Finally, it is further foreseen a stove provided with a set
of base and burner spreading cap, according to teachings of the
present invention.
[0070] While the invention has been described with reference to
exemplary embodiments, it should be understood that the scope of
the present invention covers other possible variations, it being
limited only by the contents of appended claims, including possible
equivalent embodiments.
