CORDLESS ROMAN SHADE

Abstract

A cordless roman shade has a rail, a shade, at least one dividing assembly and at least one panel. The shade has a top edge and a bottom. The top edge of the shade is connected to the rail. Each one of the at least one diving assembly has multiple dividing bars. The dividing bars are mounted on the shade separately and are parallel to each other. Each dividing bar has a slot and the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly align with each other. The at least one panel is mounted on the rail, is extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly and is connected to the shade near the bottom of the shade. Therefore, the roman shade without any cords prevents children from choking hazards and is safely provided for application.

Claims



1. A cordless roman shade comprising: a rail having a track connected to a tube; a shade having a top edge connected to the track of the rail; and a bottom; at least one dividing assembly, each one of the at least one dividing assembly having multiple dividing bars and the dividing bars mounted on the shade separately, being parallel to each other, each dividing bar having a slot and the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly aligning with each other; and at least one panel mounted on the tube of the rail, extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly and connected to the shade near the bottom of the shade.

The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 1, wherein each dividing bar comprises a rod, two connectors and a stick and the slot is formed between the rod and the stick; the rod is mounted on the shade horizontally and has two ends; the two connectors are attached to the ends of the rod respectively; and the stick is connected to the connectors.

3. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 2, wherein each connector has a hook; and the stick has two mounting ends clamped in the hooks of the connectors respectively.

4. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 2, wherein the stick of the dividing bar comprise two parts connected to the connectors respectively.

5. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 3, wherein the stick of the dividing bar comprise two parts connected to the connectors respectively.

6. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 1 comprising multiple dividing assemblies arranged horizontally each other; and multiple panels, one panel corresponding to one dividing assembly and extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the corresponding dividing assembly.

7. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 2 comprising multiple dividing assemblies arranged horizontally each other; and multiple panels, one panel corresponding to one dividing assembly and extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the corresponding dividing assembly.

8. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 3 comprising multiple dividing assemblies arranged horizontally each other; and multiple panels, one panel corresponding to one dividing assembly and extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the corresponding dividing assembly.

9. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 4 comprising multiple dividing assemblies arranged horizontally each other; and multiple panels, one panel corresponding to one dividing assembly and extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the corresponding dividing assembly.

10. The cordless roman shade as claimed in claim 5 comprising multiple dividing assemblies arranged horizontally each other; and multiple panels, one panel corresponding to one dividing assembly and extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the corresponding dividing assembly.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a roman shade, and more particularly to a cordless roman shade to protect children against choking hazards.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Arts

[0004] With reference to FIG. 5, a conventional roman shade is used to adjust or block the rays of light and comprises a rail 50, a shade 60, multiple dividing bars 70 and multiple cords 80.

[0005] The shade 60 is connected to the rail 50 at a top edge. The dividing bars 70 are mounted on the shade 60 separately and are parallel to each other. Each dividing bar 70 has a rod 71 and multiple rings 72. The rod 71 is mounted on the shade 60 horizontally. The rings 72 are attached to the rod 71 at intervals. The cords 80 are mounted on the rail 50, each cord 80 is extended through corresponding rings 72 and is connected to bottom-most rings 72. The cords 80 can be operated to release or pulled to make the shade 60 be closed or opened.

[0006] However, children can pull the exposed cords 80 easily when they are at play and the cords 80 may accidentally wrap around their necks causing a choking hazard. Therefore, the conventional roman shade is unsafe and is dangerous for children.

[0007] To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a cordless roman shade to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The main object of the present invention is to provide a cordless roman shade for security.

[0009] A cordless roman shade in accordance with the present invention comprises a rail, a shade, at least one dividing assembly and at least one panel. The shade has a top edge and a bottom. The top edge of the shade is connected to the rail. Each one of the at least one dividing assembly has multiple dividing bars. The dividing bars are mounted on the shade separately and are parallel to each other. Each dividing bar has a slot and the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly align with each other. The at least one panel is mounted on the rail, is extended through the slots of the dividing bars of the dividing assembly and is connected to the shade near the bottom of the shade. Therefore, the roman shade without any cords prevents children from choking hazards and is safely provided for application.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] With reference to FIG. 1, a cordless roman shade in accordance with the present invention comprises a rail 10, a shade 20, at least one dividing assembly and at least one panel 40.

[0017] The rail 10 has a track 11 connected to a tube 12.

[0018] The shade 20 has a top edge and a bottom. The top edge of the shade 20 is connected to the track 11 of the rail 10.

[0019] Each one of the at least one dividing assembly has multiple dividing bars 30. The dividing bars 30 are mounted on the shade 20 separately, may be connected to the shade 20 by sewing and are parallel to each other. Each dividing bar 30 has a slot and the slots of the dividing bars 30 of the dividing assembly align with each other. With further reference to FIG. 2, in a preferred embodiment, each dividing bar 30 comprises a rod 31, two connectors 32 and a stick 33 and the slot is formed between the rod 31 and the stick 33. The rod 31 is mounted or sewn on the shade 20 horizontally and has two ends. The two connectors 32 are attached to the ends of the rod 31 respectively and each connector 32 has a hook 321. The stick 33 is connected to the connectors 32 and has two mounting ends clamped in the hooks 321 of the connectors 32 respectively. With further reference to FIG. 4, in another embodiment, the stick 33A of the dividing bar 30A comprise two parts connected to the connectors 32A respectively to make the slot be a open space.

[0020] The at least one panel 40 is mounted on the tube 12 of the rail 10, is extended through the slots of the dividing bars 30 of the dividing assembly and is connected to the shade 20 near the bottom of the shade 20.

[0021] The cordless roman shade in accordance with the present invention may comprise multiple dividing assemblies and multiple panels 40. The dividing assemblies are arranged horizontally each other. One panel 40 corresponds to one dividing assembly and is extended through the slots of the dividing bars 30 of the corresponding dividing assembly. Thus, wider roman shades can be operated stably.

[0022] With reference to FIG. 1, the tube 12 of the rail 10 is rotated by manual operation, chainless spring lift system or a motor and drives the panel 40 to release to make the shade 20 be expanded. With reference to FIG. 3, the tube 12 of the rail 10 rotates reversely and drives the panel 40 to pull to make the shade 20 be folded. The cordless roman shade in accordance with the present invention can keep children from being wrapped in cords, and therefore is safely provided for application.
