Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates generally to a mesh filter
compact, and more particularly, to a mesh filter compact adapted
for saving the consumption of face powders stored in the mesh
filter compact.
[0003] 2. The Prior Arts
[0004] As the society is developing, more and more ladies prefer to
put on makeup before going out. The age that the ladies start to
use cosmetics becomes much earlier than before. In further
consideration of the variation of environment and climate, modern
people usually prefer to apply some measurement for sunscreen or UV
protection. A most normal measurement is to apply some sunscreen
cream onto the face.
[0005] FIG. 1 illustrates a conventional mesh filter compact for
containing face powders. Referring to FIG. 1, the conventional mesh
filter compact includes a body 20, a powder container 21, a
positioning member 22, and an upper cover 14. The body 20 is
configured with a receiving recess (not shown in the drawing), for
embeddedly securing the powder container 21 therein. The powder
container 21 contains face powders 211. The positioning member 22
is disposed over the power container 21, and is engaged to the body
20 for securing the powder container 21 inside the receiving recess
of the body 20. The upper cover 14 includes a hinge configured at
one side thereof. The hinge of the upper cover 14 is adapted for
pivotally coupling the upper cover 14 with the body 20. When the
face powders 211 are not being used, the upper cover 14 is laid
over the body 20 for protecting the face powders 211 contained
inside the powder container 21.
[0006] FIG. 2 illustrates the operation of using the conventional
mesh filter compact as shown in FIG. 1. Referring to FIG. 2, a user
uses a powder puff 30 to take the face powders 211 for subsequently
applying the face powders 211 to her face. During the entire makeup
process, the user may have to apply the face powders 211 for
multiple times. However, the force that the user used in each time
of taking the face powder 211 with the powder puff 30 may vary. As
such, the powder puff 30 may be stuck with excessive face powders
211. Such excessive face powders 211 are often wasted. When the
powder container 21 is used for a certain period, a dead area often
occurs as shown in FIG. 2. The face powders 211 positioned at edges
or corners of the powder container 21 are usually inconvenient for
the user to take with the powder puff 30. As such, the face powders
211 remaining at the edges or corners of the powder container 21
are not easy to be effectively used, and may cause undesirable
waste.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a
mesh filter compact adapted for saving face powders contained
therein and reducing the amount of the unused residue of the face
powders.
[0008] Accordingly, for achieving the foregoing objective of the
present invention and providing a solution to the disadvantage of
the conventional mesh filter compact as discussed above, the
present invention provides a mesh filter compact including a body,
a first positioning member, a filter member, a second positioning
member, and an upper cover.
[0009] The body is configured with a primary receiving recess. The
body includes a plurality of fixing plates disposed in the primary
receiving recess and a plurality of engaging grooves configured at
sidewalls of the primary receiving recess. The first positioning
member contains face powders therein, and is positioned inside the
primary receiving recess and is engaged by the fixing plates for
being secured thereto. The first positioning member is such
positioned for restraining the filter member in position from the
front, rear, left and right sides. The filter member includes a
filter having a plurality of meshes. The filter member is disposed
over the first positioning member and is flatly laid on the face
powders contained in the first positioning member. When the powder
puff is used to take the face powders positioned under the filter,
the filter is positioned between the powder puff and the face
powders, such that the powder puff is allowed to take the face
powders via the meshes, and the filter prevents the powder puff
from taking excessive face powders.
[0010] When the mesh filter compact is used for a certain period, a
part of the face powders contained therein are consumed.
Accordingly, the upper level of the face powders correspondingly
lowers, and the filter member also lowers together with the upper
level of the face powders. The second positioning member is a frame
disposed over the filter member for restricting upward or downward
displacement of the filter member. The second positioning member
includes a plurality of engaging plates configured positionally
corresponding to the engaging grooves of the primary receiving
recess. When the second positioning member is assembled to the
primary receiving recess, the engaging plates are correspondingly
engaged with the engaging grooves, so as to secure the second
positioning member to the primary receiving recess while
restricting the upward or downward displacement of the filter
member. The upper cover is a cover member having a hinge configured
at one side thereof. The hinge of the upper cover is adapted for
pivotally coupling the upper cover with the body for protecting the
face powders.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0020] The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further
understanding of the invention, and are incorporated in and
constitute a part of this specification. The drawing illustrates
embodiments of the invention and, together with the description,
serves to explain the principles of the invention.
[0021] FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating a mesh filter
compact according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5
is an exploded view of the mesh filter compact according to an
embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5,
the present invention provides a mesh filter compact including a
body 10, a first positioning member 11, a filter member 12, a
second positioning member 13, and an upper cover 14.
[0022] The body 10 is configured with a primary receiving recess
101. The body 10 includes a plurality of fixing plates 103 disposed
in the primary receiving recess and a plurality of engaging grooves
102 configured at sidewalls of the primary receiving recess 101.
Preferably, the fixing plates 103 are mainly distributed on
periphery of a bottom of the primary receiving recess 101, and more
preferably, the fixing plates 103 are distributed at four corners
of the primary receiving recess 101. The engaging grooves 102 are
preferred to be configured on inner side walls of the primary
receiving recess 101. The first positioning member 11 contains face
powders therein, and is positioned inside the primary receiving
recess 101 and is engaged by the fixing plates 103 for being
secured thereto. The first positioning member 11 is such positioned
for restraining the filter member 12 in position from the front,
rear, left and right sides. The filter member 12 includes a filter
121 having a plurality of meshes. The filter member 12 is disposed
between the first positioning member 11 and the second positioning
member 13. The filter member 12 is positioned over the first
positioning member 11 and is flatly laid on the face powders 111
contained in the first positioning member 11. In such a way, the
filter 121 is substantially floating on an upper level of the face
powders 111.
[0023] The second positioning member 13 is a frame disposed above
the filter member 12 for restricting upward or downward
displacement of the filter member 12. The second positioning member
13 includes a plurality of engaging plates 131 configured
positionally corresponding to the engaging grooves 102 of the body
10. When the second positioning member 13 is assembled to the
primary receiving recess 11, the engaging plates 131 are
correspondingly engaged with the engaging grooves 102, so as to
secure the second positioning member 13 to the body 10 while
restricting the upward or downward displacement of the filter
member 12.
[0024] The upper cover 14 is a cover member having a hinge
configured at one side thereof. The hinge of the upper cover 14 is
adapted for pivotally coupling the upper cover 14 with the body 10
for protecting the face powders 111.
[0025] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional side view of the mesh filter
compact according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7
illustrates the operation of the mesh filter compact of the present
invention. FIG. 8 further illustrates the operation of the mesh
filter compact of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 6, 7
and 8, when a powder puff 30 is used to take the face powders 111
positioned under the filter 121, the filter 121 is positioned
between the powder puff and the face powders 111, such that the
powder puff 30 is allowed to take the face powders 111 via the
meshes, and the filter 121 prevents the powder puff from taking
excessive face powders 111. When a certain amount of the face
powders 111 is used out so that the upper level of the face powders
111 lowers, the filter 121 lowers together with the upper level of
the face powders 111. Further, when the powder puff 30 is used to
take the face powders 111, the filter 121 is adapted for uniformly
applying a pressure on all of the face powders 111 contained in the
first positioning member 11, so that face powders 111 distributed
in corners or edges of the first positioning member 11 can be
driven to move inwardly. In such a way, the waste of face powders
distributed in the corners or edges of conventional the mesh filter
compact can be eliminated.
[0026] Although the present invention has been described with
reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it is apparent to
those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and
changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present
