RESILIENT HAIR CLIP
Abstract
The present invention provides a resilient hair clip that is
basically an integral elastic hair clip body made of soft and
tenacious material with features of relatively simpler structure
and easier manipulation than that of conventional resilient hair
clip. The resilient hair clip comprises an internal margin rim and
an outer thick hoop integrally surrounds thereon. The internal
margin rim encompasses an internal disk, a central hole, plural
divergent slits formed outwardly from the central hole and plural
convergent clipping fins disposed between adjacent divergent slits.
For manipulation, the elastic hair clip body is firstly squeezed to
let divergent slits deform to open more while hold the hairs or a
bundle of hair to be clipped therein; and then release it to let
the convergent clipping fins clip the hairs or a bundle of hair by
resilience thereof.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention provides a resilient hair clip,
particularly for one that is made of soft and tenacious material
with features of relatively simpler structure and easier
manipulation than that of conventional resilient hair clip.
PRIOR ARTS OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Generally speaking, different conventional hairdressing
devices such as hairpin, hairclip, hair-hoop, hair-ring,
rubber-band, hair-roller and hair neatening tool are used by women
to do their hairdressing jobs or to shape their hairdos. For these
conventional hairdressing devices of hairpin, hairclip, hair-hoop,
hair-roller and hair neatening tool, if the material is not
suitable or structure is against the rules of the ergonomics, the
uncomfortable and painful feelings can be incurred to the users.
Besides, for these conventional hairdressing devices of hair-ring
and rubber-band, several rings are usually needed to bundle the
hairs properly and that results in troublesome job and dull
hairdo.
[0003] Accordingly, having addressed on the drawbacks in the
foregoing conventional hairdressing devices, the inventor of the
present invention is eager to work out a solution by his
professional design and fabrication experiences. After
comprehensive researching and developing consideration as well as
many testing experiments, eventually the resilient hair clip of the
present invention featuring relatively simpler structure and easier
manipulation than that of the foregoing conventional hairdressing
devices is successfully worked out.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The basic object of the present invention is to provide a
resilient hair clip, which is basically an integral elastic hair
clip body that comprises an internal margin rim and an outer thick
hoop, wherein said internal margin rim encompasses an internal
disk, a central hole, plural divergent slits formed outwardly from
the central hole and plural convergent clipping fins disposed
between adjacent divergent slits; and said outer thick hoop
integrally surrounds the internal margin rim.
[0005] The further object of the present invention is to provide a
resilient hair clip as recited above, wherein the thickness of said
outer thick hoop is slightly larger than that of said internal
margin rim.
[0006] The other object of the present invention is to provide a
resilient hair clip as recited above, wherein the cross section for
said internal disk of the internal margin rim is either in camber
manner or in planar manner.
[0007] For manipulation, the elastic hair clip body is firstly
squeezed to let divergent slits deform to open more while hold the
hairs or a bundle of hair to be clipped therein; and then release
it to let the convergent clipping fins clip the hairs or a bundle
of hair by resilience thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0018] Please refer to FIG. 1, which is a perspective view for the
resilient hair clip in the first embodiment of the present
invention.
[0019] The resilient hair clip is basically an integral elastic
hair clip body 1 that comprises an internal margin rim 11 and an
outer thick hoop 12, wherein said internal margin rim 11
encompasses an internal disk 111, a central hole 112, plural
divergent slits 113 formed outwardly from the central hole 112 and
plural convergent clipping fins 114 disposed between adjacent
divergent slits 113; and said outer thick hoop 12 integrally
surrounds the internal margin rim 11.
[0020] In the foregoing first embodiment for the resilient hair
clip of the present invention, the material of said elastic hair
clip body 1 is preferably a soft and tenacious material.
[0021] Besides, the configuration of the plural divergent slits 113
appear in convoluted manner. Whereas, the configuration of the
plural divergent slits 113 is S-shaped profile of curved structure
in FIG. 2, and radial profile of linear structure in FIG. 3
respectively. Preferably, the cross section of the internal disk
111 is in camber manner as shown in FIG. 4, but it can also be
adapted into planar manner as desired.
[0022] Please refer to FIG. 5, which is a perspective view for the
resilient hair clip in the second embodiment of the present
invention. The structure of the resilient hair clip here is almost
the same as that in the first embodiment except outer thick hoop 12
of the internal margin rim 11 is obviated.
[0023] For aesthetic purpose, tile overall pattern of the elastic
hair clip body 1 including configuration of the internal margin rim
11 and outer thick hoop 12 can be adapted to any suitable geometric
pattern as the third embodiment of the present invention shown in
FIG. 6, where it is butterfly pattern with diversified divergent
slits 113.
[0024] For manipulating the resilient hair clip of the present
invention, please refer to FIGS. 7 and 8, an additional hair
clustering tool 3 comprising a hair accoimodating cord 31 and a
handling rod 32 is preferably provided.
[0025] Firstly, put hairs or a bundle of hair into the hair
accommodating cord 31 of the hair clustering tool 3;
[0026] Secondly, align the handling rod 32 of the hair clustering
tool 3 with the central hole 112 of the elastic hair clip body 1
(as shown in FIG. 7);
[0027] Thirdly, upwardly slide the elastic hair clip body 1 along
the hair accommodating cord 31 of the hair clustering tool 3 (as
the upwards arrowhead shown in FIG. 7);
[0028] Fourthly, let the elastic hair clip body 1 slide upwardly up
to touch the hairs or a bundle of hair to be clipped while pull the
hair accommodating cord 31 of the hair clustering tool 3 downwardly
(as the downwards arrowhead shown in FIG. 7);
[0029] Fifthly, squeeze the elastic hair clip body 1 to let
divergent slits 113 deform to open more while hold the hairs or a
bundle of hair to be clipped therein (as shown in FIG. 8); and
[0030] Finally, release the elastic hair clip body 1 to let the
convergent clipping fins 114 clip the hairs or a bundle of hair by
resilience thereof; Thereby, the hairs or a bundle of hair are well
clipped by the elastic hair clip body 1 in desired firm manner.
[0031] FIG. 9 is an illustrative view for the resilient hair clip
of the present invention showing that the hairs or a bundle of hair
are well clipped by the elastic hair clip body 1 in desired
ponytail pattern of clipped status. As stated previously, the
overall pattern of the elastic hair clip body 1 can be adapted to
any suitable geometric pattern at will. FIG. 10 is another
illustrative view for the resilient hair clip of the present
invention showing that two bundles of hair are well clipped by two
elastic hair clip bodies 1 in desired dual-buns or dual-pigtails
pattern of clipped status.
[0032] In conclusion, all the exkpected effects and objects can be
successfully accomplished by the present invention. Moreover, not
only the structure of the present invention, which is riot
disclosed publicly, differs from that of the conventional hair clip
but also the practicability of the present invention is better than
that of the conventional hair clip. Apparently, the present
invention indeed has novelty beyond obviousness of the prior arts,
which meets the essential criterion of the patentability.
Accordingly, we submit the patent application in accordance with
related laws.
