Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a rail-type support device
mainly mounted at a rear surface of a display to regularly arrange
wires and electronic devices connected at the rear surface of the
display, and more particularly to a rail-type support device for
mounting with rails.
[0003] 2. Related Art
[0004] Display is an electronic device on which dynamic and static
images can be displayed. Now, the display is quite widely used,
such as, a liquid crystal display (LCD) used with a computer host,
an LCD for a TV set, and an LCD for a plasma television, which
mainly serves functions effectively displaying the dynamic and
static images, and providing most vividly and comfortable visual
experience for the viewers. At present, the installation of the
display in the market can be substantially divided into desktop,
wall mounted, and suspended displays, among them, the desktop
display is provided with a seat for supporting the display to be
placed on a desk or a plane. Furthermore, the wall mounted and
suspended displays have a support bracket mounted at the rear
surface of them, and is correspondingly mounted depending on the
intended suspension position. For example, the wall mounted display
is mounted on a relative support bracket previously mounted on a
wall by the support bracket arranged at the rear surface of the
display beforehand. For the suspended display, the support bracket
is provided with a long support bar having one end secured to a
ceiling or a wall of a cantilever. Though the mounting means above
can efficiently secure the display as required, after the
installation of the whole display, the wires behind the display
droop arbitrarily, that is, the conventional support bracket cannot
further provide the accommodation of the wires. Furthermore, the
digital television has gradually spread in the consumption market
recently, and the mated devices, such as computer host and digital
TV box, can only be positioned at another position after being
connected with the connection wire during installation. As such,
too much and long connection wire will lead to the mess in the
mounting space due to the prolonged connection wire required in
connection, and the mated device such as computer host and digital
TV box will also require another space to be placed. Therefore,
inconvenience exists in practical installation and use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The present invention is directed to a rail-type support
device which has wiring function and also can carrier an electronic
device to ensure the regularity of a rear surface of the
display.
[0006] As embodied and broadly described herein, the present
invention improves a main support seat mounted at the rear surface
of a display by further integrating rails for mounting a carrier
seat therein. Furthermore, the rails can be selectively arranged at
the upper edge, the lower edge, and the inner plane of the main
support seat as required, so as to effectively improve the wiring
effect, and efficiently secure the related electronic device
used.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] Referring to FIG. 1, a three-dimensional view of an
appearance of the present invention is shown. As shown, a rail-type
support device 10 of the present invention mainly includes a main
support seat 101, a rail 102, and a carrier seat 103. The main
support seat 101 is formed with a main plane portion 1011, and two
edges of the main plane portion 1011 are respectively bent to form
a first baffle 1012 and a second baffle 1013. Furthermore, the
first baffle 1012 and the second baffle 1013 have more than one
bolt hole (10121, 10131) formed on the planes thereof. Referring
back to FIG. 1 for the main support seat 101, the edges of the
first baffle 1012 and the second baffle 1013 are further bent to
form a first rim 10122 and a second rim 10132 respectively. The
body of the rail 102 is substantially L-shaped or U-shaped, and
provided with a first rail part 1021. The first rail part 1021 has
a second rail part 1022 and a third rail part 1023 respectively
formed at two edges. Moreover, more than one through hole (not
shown), preferably long through hole, is formed on the plane of the
first rail part 1021. Referring back to FIG. 1, the substantially
L-shaped carrier seat 103 is formed with a relative rail part 1031,
and has its edge bent to form a carrier portion 1032. A plurality
of through holes (1033, 1034) and wiring portions 1035 are formed
on the plane of the carrier portion 1032 as required.
[0017] Referring to FIG. 2, a first schematic view of an embodiment
according to the present invention is shown. As shown, a display 20
can be a computer display, a liquid crystal television, or a plasma
television. A set of hook members 30 can be mounted in advance by
means of locking at the rear surface of the display 20, and the
hook member 30 is provided with two sets of hooks 301. As shown, in
an embodiment of the present invention, the rail 102 can be mounted
beforehand at the first baffle 1012 on the main support seat 101 as
required. By passing more than one screw 104 through the through
hole 10211 (the through hole is most preferably a long through
hole) of the rail 102, and screwing the screws in the bolt holes
10121 on the plane of the first baffle 1012, the rail 102 is
secured to the plane of the first baffle 1012. As described above,
the main support seat 101 having the rail 102 can be provided with
a relative support bracket (not shown) to secure the main support
seat 101 to a wall or a plane of a ceiling. Referring back to FIG.
2, the display 20 previously mounted with the hook members 30 is
hooked onto the first rim 10122 and the second rim 10132 of the
main support seat 101 from top to bottom by the plurality of hooks
301 of the hook members 30 respectively.
[0018] Referring to FIG. 3, a second schematic view of an
embodiment according to the present invention is shown. As shown,
the suspended display 20 is as shown in this figure, at this time,
if an electronic device 40 needs to be connected to the display 20,
for example, a host of a micro-computer, and a digital TV box, the
electronic device 40 can be fixed to the carrier seat 103 in
advance, and then the relative rail part 1031 of the carrier seat
103 is made to match the second rail part 1022 of the rail 102, and
the carrier seat 103 slides in along the second rail part 1022, so
as to mount the carrier seat 103 into the rail. Furthermore, in
order to locate the carrier seat 103 at a specific position after
sliding in, more than one positioning point 1024 can be formed at
the end of the second rail part 1022, so as to block the carrier
seat 103 before reaching to the positioning points 1024 after
sliding in, so as to produce positioning effect. Moreover, the
positioning points 1024 can be formed on the plane of each rail
part after being directly processed, or by locking with a screw
(the same with other rail parts). Referring to FIG. 4, a third
schematic view of an embodiment according to the present invention
is shown. The integrated carrier seat 103 and rail 102 are as shown
in this figure after being mounted. As shown, the electronic device
40 (see FIG. 3) is accommodated in the space at the rear of the
display 20 and formed between the carrier seat 103 and the display
20, and the connection wires at the rear of the display 20 are
efficiently and regularly accommodated by the wiring portions 1035
of the carrier seat 103 (see FIG. 1).
[0019] As described above, referring to FIG. 5, a fourth schematic
view of an embodiment according to the present invention is shown.
As shown, the integration of the main support seat 101 and the rail
102 can be finished beforehand, with the rail 102 being mounted
above the main support seat 101. Next, the main support seat 101 is
further mounted to a relative support bracket 105, and the relative
support bracket 105 is secured to a wall 50. During installation,
the display 20 is hooked to the first rim 10122 and the second rim
10132 of the main support seat 101 with the plurality of hooks 301
of the hook members 30 at the rear surface of the display 20, such
that the display 20 can be secured to the main support seat 101 by
the hook members 30.
[0020] Referring to FIG. 6, another preferable embodiment of the
present invention is shown. Because the displays provided by
various manufacturers have different specifications and structures,
suitable applications also can be achieved by the present invention
depending on the structures of the displays. As shown, the rail 102
of the present invention also can be mounted below the main support
seat 101 according to requirements of practical mounting space.
That is, the rail 102 is arranged at the lower plane of the second
baffle 1013 of the main support seat 101, and the integration of
the rail 102 and the second baffle 1013 is achieved by locking with
more than one screw 104. In this way, the carrier seat 103 can be
mounted below the main support seat 101 depending on the position
of the rail 102.
[0021] Referring to FIG. 7, a still another preferable embodiment
of the present invention is shown. As shown, the carrier seat 103
can be mounted inside the main support seat 101. In the embodiment
as shown in the figure, the rail 102 can be secured to the lower
plane of the first baffle 1012 of the main support seat 101 by more
than one screw 104. That is, the rail 102 is located in the
accommodation space 60 formed between the main support seat 101 and
the rear surface of the display 20. Then, the carrier seat 103
slides in along the rail 102 to finish the installation. As such,
the electronic device 40 carried by the carrier seat 103 can be
efficiently accommodated. Again, as described above, the rail 102
also can be mounted at the upper plane of the second baffle 1013,
and the effect produced is the same as above, and will not be
repeated here.
[0022] As described above, the rail-type support device of the
present invention mainly includes improving the conventional main
support seat, and increasing the practicability thereof by
providing a rail, such that the connection wires and electronic
devices connected peripherally to the display may be integrated
into a designated accommodation space. Furthermore, the
installation position of the rail can be adjusted depending on
various structures at the rear surface of different displays and
requirements of practical mounting space, so as to further improve
the whole practicability. In view of the above, the present
invention can certainly provide a rail-type support device which
has wiring effect and also can carrier an electronic device, thus
ensuring the regularity at the rear of the display.
[0023] However, it is understood that the descriptions above are
only the preferable embodiments of the present invention, and not
intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All
equivalent modifications and changes made by those skilled in the
art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present
invention shall fall into the claims of the present invention.
