PREFABRICATED RECIPIENT BOX
Abstract
A recipient box is provided, which can be assembled by disposing
a horizontal plate, a vertical plate and a rear plate and pressing
and fixing frames from front and rear sides, so that beginners,
women or old and feeble persons can easily and safely assemble and
use the recipient box, without fitting pieces to the frames. The
prefabricated recipient box includes horizontal plates horizontally
disposed at upper and lower portions, vertical plates vertically
disposed to connect both ends of the upper and lower horizontal
plates, a rear plate supported by the rear sides of the upper and
lower horizontal plates at upper and lower corner sides thereof,
and supported by the rear sides of the right and left vertical
plates at right and left corner sides thereof, fastening means
fastened to the first fastening boss and the second fastening boss
at the front side, and the first fastening boss and the second
fastening boss at the rear side.

Claims
1. A prefabricated recipient box comprising: horizontal plates
horizontally disposed at upper and lower portions, each of the
horizontal plates having a first fastening boss protruding from
front and rear sides thereof and a support boss protruding from
left and right sides thereof; vertical plates vertically disposed
to connect both ends of the upper and lower horizontal plates, each
of the vertical plates having upper and lower corner sides
supported by the support boss, and a second fastening boss
protruding from front and rear sides thereof and connected to the
first fastening boss; a rear plate supported by the rear sides of
the upper and lower horizontal plates at upper and lower corner
sides thereof, and supported by the rear sides of the right and
left vertical plates at right and left corner sides thereof, in
which the rear plate is disposed at the rear sides of the
horizontal plates and the vertical plates; and fastening means
fastened to the first fastening boss and the second fastening boss
at the front side, and the first fastening boss and the second
fastening boss at the rear side.
2. The prefabricated recipient box of claim 1, wherein the first
fastening boss and the second fastening boss are provided with a
fixing groove extending in a longitudinal direction at both sides
thereof.
3. The prefabricated recipient box of claim 1, wherein a rear-side
lower surface of the upper horizontal plate, a rear-side upper
surface of the lower horizontal plate, and a rear-side inner
surface of the right and left vertical plates are provided with a
support groove formed in a longitudinal direction to support all
corner sides of the rear plate.
4. The prefabricated recipient box of claim 1, wherein the
fastening means comprises: a plurality of frame members each having
a c-shaped cross section and disposed at the upper and lower sides
and the right and left sides to engage the first fastening bosses
and the second fastening bosses, in which an inside of the frame
member is defined into an open space and the closed space by a
defining boss and an end of the open space is provided with a
fixing boss fitted to the fixing groove; a plurality of fixing
brackets each formed in a -shape in a plane and inserted in the
closed space of the frame members connected to each other, the
fixing bracket 44 having a through-hole penetrating the fixing
bracket; and a plurality of fastening screws 46 each threadedly
engaged to the through-hole of the fixing bracket which is
positioned in the frame member, to fix the fixing bracket to the
frame member.
Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
[0001] This application is based on and claims priority from Korean
Patent Application No. 10-2009-64777, filed on Jul. 16, 2009 in the
Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of which is
incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] 1. Field of the Invention
[0003] The present invention relates to a prefabricated recipient
box, and more particularly, to a prefabricated recipient box which
can be assembled by disposing a horizontal plate, a vertical plate
and a rear plate and pressing and fixing frames from front and rear
sides, so that beginners, women or old and feeble persons can
easily and safely assemble and use the recipient box, without
fitting pieces to the frames.
[0004] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0005] In general, case goods are provided so as to keep articles,
such as clothes, essential goods of life, or various materials, at
homes or offices.
[0006] Such a case product includes a drawer, a cabinet, and a
wardrobe, and a recipient box of a hexahedron shape is widely used,
of which one side is opened so as to easily access frequently used
articles or simple articles.
[0007] In the case of the recipient box, however, plates forming
sides of the box are fixed to each other by fitting pieces to the
plates. It is difficult for beginners, women or old and feeble
persons to assemble the recipient box by fitting pieces to the
plates, besides skilled workers. In addition, at the time of
fitting of the pieces, the plates are likely to be damaged or a
user can get injured, and a working time is prolonged.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve
the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art while
advantages achieved by the prior art are maintained intact.
[0009] One object of the present invention is to provide a
prefabricated recipient box which can be assembled by disposing a
horizontal plate, a vertical plate and a rear plate and pressing
and fixing frames from front and rear sides, so that beginners,
women or old and feeble persons can easily and safely assemble and
use the recipient box, without fitting pieces to the frames.
[0010] In order to accomplish these objects, there is provided a
prefabricated recipient box, according to an embodiment of the
present invention, which includes horizontal plates horizontally
disposed at upper and lower portions, each of the horizontal plates
having a first fastening boss protruding from front and rear sides
thereof and a support boss protruding from left and right sides
thereof; vertical plates vertically disposed to connect both ends
of the upper and lower horizontal plates, each of the vertical
plates having upper and lower corner sides supported by the support
boss, and a second fastening boss protruding from front and rear
sides thereof and connected to the first fastening boss; a rear
plate supported by the rear sides of the upper and lower horizontal
plates at upper and lower corner sides thereof, and supported by
the rear sides of the right and left vertical plates at right and
left corner sides thereof, in which the rear plate is disposed at
the rear sides of the horizontal plates and the vertical plates;
and fastening means fastened to the first fastening boss and the
second fastening boss at the front side, and the first fastening
boss and the second fastening boss at the rear side.
[0011] According to one aspect of the present invention, the first
fastening boss and the second fastening boss are provided with a
fixing groove extending in a longitudinal direction at both sides
thereof.
[0012] According to another aspect of the present invention, a
rear-side lower surface of the upper horizontal plate, a rear-side
upper surface of the lower horizontal plate, and a rear-side inner
surface of the right and left vertical plates are provided with a
support groove formed in a longitudinal direction to support all
corner sides of the rear plate.
[0013] According to still another aspect of the present invention,
the fastening means includes a plurality of frame members each
having a .OR right.-shaped cross section and disposed at the upper
and lower sides and the right and left sides to engage the first
fastening bosses and the second fastening bosses, in which an
inside of the frame member is defined into an open space and the
closed space by a defining boss and an end of the open space is
provided with a fixing boss fitted to the fixing groove; a
plurality of fixing brackets each formed in a -shape in a plane and
inserted in the closed space of the frame members connected to each
other, the fixing bracket 44 having a through-hole penetrating the
fixing bracket; and a plurality of fastening screws 46 each
threadedly engaged to the through-hole of the fixing bracket which
is positioned in the frame member, to fix the fixing bracket to the
frame member.
[0014] With the prefabricated recipient box as constructed above
according to an embodiment of the present invention, the recipient
box is assembled by disposing a horizontal plate, a vertical plate
and a rear plate and pressing and fixing frames from front and rear
sides, so that beginners, women or old and feeble persons can
easily and safely assemble and use the recipient box, without
fitting pieces to the frames.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0021] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention
will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The
matters defined in the description, such as the detailed
construction and elements, are nothing but specific details
provided to assist those of ordinary skill in the art in a
comprehensive understanding of the invention, and thus the present
invention is not limited thereto.
[0022] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a prefabricated recipient
box according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is
an exploded perspective view of the prefabricated recipient box
according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a
cross-sectional view of the prefabricated recipient box according
to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a
cross-sectional view of the prefabricated recipient box according
to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a view
illustrating a use state of the prefabricated recipient box
according to the embodiment of the present invention.
[0023] A prefabricated recipient box 1 according to an embodiment
of the present invention includes horizontal plates 10 horizontally
disposed at upper and lower portions, each of the horizontal plates
having a first fastening boss 12 protruding from front and rear
sides thereof and a support boss 14 protruding from left and right
sides thereof; vertical plates 20 vertically disposed to connect
both ends of the upper and lower horizontal plates 10, each of the
vertical plates 20 having upper and lower corner sides supported by
the support boss 14, and a second fastening boss 22 protruding from
front and rear sides thereof and connected to the first fastening
boss 12; a rear plate 30 supported by the rear sides of the upper
and lower horizontal plates 10 at upper and lower corner sides
thereof, and supported by the rear sides of the right and left
vertical plates 20 at right and left corner sides thereof, in which
the rear plate is disposed at the rear sides of the horizontal
plates 10 and the vertical plates 20; and fastening means 40
fastened to the first fastening boss 12 and the second fastening
boss 22 at the front side, and the first fastening boss 12 and the
second fastening boss 22 at the rear side.
[0024] The horizontal plates 10 have a role of forming an upper
surface and a lower surface of the prefabricated recipient box 1.
The first fastening bosses 12 protrude from front and rear sides of
the horizontal plates, and the support bosses 14 protrude from the
left and right sides of the horizontal plates. The horizontal
plates 10 are disposed at the upper and lower sides in a horizontal
direction, respectively.
[0025] The first fastening bosses 12 are connected to the fastening
means 40, and protrude from the front and rear sides of the
horizontal plates in a longitudinal direction. The first fastening
boss 12 is provided with a fixing groove 50 formed on both sides in
a longitudinal direction. A fixing boss 42d of the fastening means
40 which will be described below is fixed to the fixing groove.
[0026] Further, the support bosses 14 have a role of supporting the
vertical plate 20 in a surface contact manner, and the horizontal
plates 10 are disposed at the upper and lower sides in such a way
that a side forming a stepped portion faces a side forming a
stepped portion of the horizontal plate 10.
[0027] The vertical plates 20 have a role of forming the right and
left sides of the prefabricated recipient box 1, and are vertically
disposed to connect both ends of the upper and lower horizontal
plates 10, respectively. The upper and lower corner sides are
supported by the support bosses 14 in a surface contact manner, and
the second fastening boss 22 protrudes from the front and rear
sides thereof and is connected to the first fastening boss 12.
[0028] The second fastening bosses 22 are connected to the first
fastening boss 12 protruding from the upper and lower sides of the
horizontal plate to form a protruding .quadrature.-shape. In
similar to the first fastening boss 12, the second fastening boss
22 is provided with a fixing groove 50 formed on both sides in a
longitudinal direction. A fixing boss 42d of the fastening means 40
which will be described below is fixed to the fixing groove.
[0029] Further, the upper and lower corner sides of the vertical
plate 20 are supported by the support bosses 14 protruding from the
horizontal plate which form the stepped portion, in a surface
contact relation, so that the horizontal plates 10 and the vertical
plates 20 form a hexahedral shape with opened front and rear
sides.
[0030] The rear plate 30 has a role of forming the rear side of the
prefabricated recipient box 1. the upper and lower corner sides of
the rear plate are supported by the rear sides of the upper and
lower horizontal plates 10, and the right and left corner sides
thereof are supported by the rear sides of the right and left
vertical plates 20, so that the rear plate is disposed at the rear
sides of the horizontal plates 10 and the vertical plates 20.
[0031] In order to support the rear plate 30, the rear-side lower
surface of the upper horizontal plate 10, the rear-side upper
surface of the lower horizontal plate 10, and the rear-side inner
surface of the right and left vertical plates 20 are provided with
a support groove 60 formed in a longitudinal direction to support
all corner sides of the rear plate 30.
[0032] In this instance, the support groove 60 is positioned
farther at the inside than the fixing groove 50 so as to enable the
fastening means 40 to connect the first fastening boss 12 and the
second fastening boss 22.
[0033] The fastening means 40 is engaged to the first fastening
bosses 12 and the second fastening bosses 22 which form a
protruding .quadrature.-shape at the front side, and is engaged to
the first fastening bosses 12 and the second fastening bosses 22
which form a protruding .quadrature.-shape at the rear side. The
fastening means 40 has a role of fixing the horizontal plates 10,
the vertical plates 20 and the rear plate 30 which are connected to
each other.
[0034] The fastening means 40 includes a plurality of frame members
42a each having a .OR right.-shaped cross section and disposed at
the upper and lower sides and the right and left sides to engage
the first fastening bosses 12 and the second fastening bosses 22,
in which an inside of the frame member is defined into an open
space 42a and the closed space 42b by a defining boss 42c and an
end of the open space 42a is provided with a fixing boss 42d fitted
to the fixing groove 50; a plurality of fixing brackets 44 each
formed in a -shape in a plane and inserted in the closed space of
the frame members 42 connected to each other, the fixing bracket 44
having a through-hole 44a penetrating the fixing bracket; and a
plurality of fastening screws 46 each threadedly engaged to the
through-hole 44a of the fixing bracket 44 which is positioned in
the frame member 42, to fix the fixing bracket 44 to the frame
member 42.
[0035] The upper, lower, right and left frame members 42 are
engaged to each other to form the fastening means 40 having the .OR
right.-shaped cross section and the .quadrature.-shaped plane. The
fastening means 40 is engaged to the plates in such a way that the
open space 42a faces the first fastening bosses 12 and the second
fastening bosses 22. In this instance, both fixing bosses 42d are
forcibly fitted to the fixing grooves 50, thereby firmly fixing the
fastening means 40.
[0036] The horizontal plates 10, the vertical plates 20 and the
rear plate 30 may be made of various kinds of materials, such as
synthetic resin, wood or metal. It is preferable that the fastening
means 40 is made of a synthetic resin or metal so as to be forcibly
fixed to the first fastening boss 12 and the second fastening boss
22.
[0037] The method for assembling the prefabricated recipient box 1
according to the embodiment of the present invention will now be
described.
[0038] First, the horizontal plates 10 are placed at the upper and
lower sides in such a way that the support bosses 14 face the
stepped portions of the horizontal plates 10.
[0039] Next, the vertical plates 20 are connected to the horizontal
plates 10 in such a way that the upper and lower corner sides are
supported by the support bosses 14, thereby forming the hexahedral
shape with opened front and rear sides.
[0040] The rear plate 30 is placed at the rear side. In this
instance, four corners of the rear plate 30 are supported by the
support grooves 60 of the right and left vertical plates 20 and the
upper and lower horizontal plates 10 in a surface contact
manner.
[0041] Next, after the frame members 42 are placed at upper, lower,
right and left sides, the both ends of the fixing brackets 44 are
inserted into the closed spaces 42b at the corner side to be
connected, and the fastening means 40 of a .quadrature.-shape are
assembled by fastening the engaging screws 46 to the through-holes
44a.
[0042] Finally, the fastening means 40 is engaged to the first
fastening bosses 12 and the second fastening bosses 22 which form a
protruding .quadrature.-shape at the front side, and is engaged to
the first fastening bosses 12 and the second fastening bosses 22
which form a protruding .quadrature.-shape at the rear side, while
the open space 42a faces the fastening bosses. In this instance,
the fixing bosses 42d of the fastening means 40 are firmly fixed to
the fixing grooves 50.

been described for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art
will appreciate that various modifications, additions and
substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and
spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying
claims.
