Description
[0001] As is stated in the description, this invention refers to a
bag for home nursing visits, and it has several characteristics and
innovative advantages over similar bags that are already known.
Specifically, the invention consists of a bag that will allow the
transport of necessary medical materials required for home visits
by nurses and similar persons. Its structural design and
configuration have been very well studied to allow the bag to have
an orderly organization and a quick, comfortable and efficient,
view, localization and access to all of its contents, allowing all
of the materials to be readily available to the professional on
just one plane, allowing expeditious use, which reflects in
improvements in aid to the patient.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Presently, and in reference to the technical specifications,
it must be mentioned that, as a reply to the petitioner, the
existence of an invention that has similar technical, structural
and design characteristics to the ones proposed here is
unknown.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] The nurse's bag for home visits that the invention proposes,
is designed as an innovation in its field, since, it is possible to
efficiently and in a practical way safely transport medical
materials, while presenting many advantages over bags that are used
for the same purpose. Specifically, the proposed bag is designed to
contain the required elements for the intended use, offering
perfect organization for each element, thanks to the distribution
of the independent compartments that it has, while keeping them
perfectly protected from blows, by the padded protective material,
and also from external agents such as moisture and dust, since it
has external zippered closures that keep its interior properly
isolated. In addition, the bag allows the quick and easy
localization and extraction so that each product and instrument may
be used, because the bag opens into two halves that will be flat on
the same plane, in a way that all of its contents are in view and
perfectly accessible. In the inside of each one of the parts, the
proposed bag has multiple compartments or receptacles, each with
different shape characteristics that are acceptable for the
different types of elements, which can be easily extracted enabling
their use, because in their interior the compartments have
removable fastening systems with Velcro.RTM. or similar. In this
way, some of the mentioned compartments have a prismatic shape
that, as if they were a case, have an upper lid with a zipper
closure, being the lid optionally transparent to allow the view of
its interior contents. The compartments can also be thermal to
insure the proper keeping of certain medications, or they can be
made as mesh bags so they can easily adapt to the irregular shapes
of certain elements, like smaller instruments. It is important to
also note, that some compartments carry their interior fastening
systems such as rubber bands, or mobile transverse or longitudinal
separators that allow for perfect organization and distribution of
the inside space of each one allowing the adjustments according to
needs. It must be noted that the distribution, size, amount and
configuration of the bag compartments may vary in function
depending on the requirements. The inside of the bag also has,
elastic bands for directly holding certain elements, with
adjustable straps as clamps allowing the incorporation of other
extractable compartments that can be interchanged, depending on the
need, meaning, that depending of the service that is going to be
given, some extractable compartments may be substituted for a spare
case with a different shape and function. Finally, it must be said
that the bag that the invention proposes, besides being of the
proper size for its use, it can be carried in several ways,
allowing it to adapt to all carrying needs. Therefore, the new
nurse's bag for home nursing visits represents an innovative
structure with structural and build characteristics unknown to this
day for the intended purpose, with details properly stated in the
final claims that accompany this descriptive report, which together
with its practicality, provide sufficient basis to the granting the
privilege of exclusivity to the invention.
DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0004] To complete this description and to better convey the
characteristics of the invention, attached to this descriptive
report, and as an integral part of it, is a set of drawings, that
illustrating but not limiting show and represent the following:
FIG. 1.--Shows in a perspective view, the front face of one example
of the bag which is the matter of this invention, and the elements
of the part can be seen. FIG. 2.--Shows in a perspective view, the
rear face of the bag, and the different modes for carrying it can
be clearly appreciated. FIG. 3.--Shows a view of the underside of
the bag, where the support pegs that are integrated can be
observed. FIG. 4.--Shows in a perspective view, the front face of
the bag, where in an adjoined representation and apart from the
exterior compartment available on that face, its shape and contents
are better shown. FIG. 5.--Shows a perspective view of the open
bag, where the internal configuration can be seen with the
different elements present. FIGS. 6 to 9.--In perspective views
different examples of the compartments are shown, cases or bags
that can be incorporated to the inside of the bag to keep in an
orderly fashion the elements for its intended use.
PREFERRED RENDITION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The previously mentioned figures can be seen, and according
to their adopted numbers, a preferred rendition of the invention
can be observed, which includes the indicated and described parts
and elements in detail, as follows. Therefore, taking into account
FIGS. 1 to 3, it can be noticed that the bag (1) is essentially
constituted by one body (2) of approximate prismatic shape,
equipped with support pegs (3) on its underside (4), and a handle
(5), one shoulder belt (6) and large shoulder straps (7) that allow
for different ways to carry the bag It should also be mentioned, as
can be observed in FIG. 2, that in its back part (8) there is a
storage space that is accessible through a zipper (9) where the
shoulder straps can be stored (7), and also has a central latch
(10) that can optionally allow connection to a wheeled structure so
that it can be taken as a cart. Observing FIG. 4, it can be noticed
that the bag (1), has on its front face an exterior compartment
(11) with a flap (12) and snap closures (13), on its anterior part,
the flap (12) has a zipper (14) that allows access to a flat
storage space, that has in the external compartment (11) flat
pouches (15) where an extra pouch is kept (16) as well as a support
with a rigid clip (17). Observing FIG. 5, one can see that the body
(2) that forms the bag (1) divides into two parts (2a) and (2b)
that are held together by a zipper (18), the parts can open
completely allowing them to be on the same plane, and in this way
all of the contents are perfectly at reach. As can be seen on FIG.
5, both in the inside of the rear part (2a) of the body (2) as in
the front part (2b) there are multiple compartments (19) of
different sizes and characteristics useful for keeping in an
orderly fashion each one of the different medical elements for
which the bag was intended, allowing the possibility of changes
depending on the required needs. The compartments (19) can be
removed, since they are held at the bottom of the bag (1) using
tapes (20) made from Velcro.RTM. or similar ones, allowing for easy
removal and replacement. The compartments (19) also have
approximate prismatic shapes, and as if they were cases have a top
lid (21) with a zipper closure (22). Optionally, the lid (21) can
be transparent so the contents of the case can be seen, as can be
observed in FIGS. 6 and 7. The case type compartments (19) can have
inside transverse or longitudinal separators (23) that will allow
adjustments that are required because they are mobile and can set
and adjusted with the use of tapes made of (24) Velcro.RTM. or
similar, as can be observed in FIG. 7, and can also be, as can be
seen in FIG. 8, insulated, and have also a central separator (25)
with rubber bands for attachment (26) for ampoules or similar
delicate elements can be stored. It should be noticed that due to
the characteristics of the described compartments (19) they can be
changed around at the time of manufacture depending of intended
use. In addition, the bag contains inside at least one small mesh
bag (27), which as can be seen in FIG. 9, when required, can also
be fixed to the inside of the body (2) with attachment straps (28)
made of Velcro.RTM. or similar. It should also be noted that the
bag (1) has in the inside, located in the frontal part (2b) of the
same example shown several elastic bands (29) that can be used for
strapping in smaller elements. Finally, it should be noted that
inside the bag (1), in addition to the elastic bands already
mentioned (29), for strapping down different elements, it also has
adjustable tapes (30) that are used for clamping down some of the
already described case compartments (19), allowing their
interchange for others of a different shape and/or function, based
on the intended use. The nature of the invention has been
sufficiently described, as well as the way it is used, any expert
in this subject will not require any further explanation as to its
reaches and advantages derived from it, and we manifest that it can
essentially be produced even if there are small variations in the
details of the example given, which will have equal protection to
the one being granted as long as the fundamental principle is not
altered, changed or modified.
