Description

BACKGROUND

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to pants having a hip-up function, and more particularly, to pants having a hip-up function for compressing buttocks when worn to give a shapely appearance.

[0003] 2. Discussion of Related Art

[0004] As physical appearance becomes important in society and interpersonal relations, people want to have an attractive and well-proportioned body. To meet such a demand, clothes for body-shaping have been released in various shapes.

[0005] These clothes include underwear that compresses an underbelly to prevent protrusion thereof, underwear that compresses buttocks to prevent them from sagging, and underwear capable of preventing both the underbelly from protruding and the buttocks from sagging.

[0006] However, since the underwear for body-shaping must be put on separately from an outer garment, wearing and use of it is inconvenient. While pants with a lining for body-shaping have been provided to overcome such a drawback, the lining in the pants is simply formed to compress the buttocks and underbelly, so that effects for body-shaping attributable to the lining are not satisfactory. That is, it has been difficult to shape sagging or laterally protruding buttocks.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention is directed to pants having a hip-up function to shape buttocks.

[0008] One aspect of the present invention provides pants having a hip-up function, including: an elastic lining for shaping a body; and an elastic wrinkle portion provided in a cleavage portion between buttocks in the lining.

[0009] The wrinkle portion may be formed to be elastically wrinkled along the cleavage portion between the buttocks.

[0010] The wrinkle portion may be elastically sewn by thread to maintain the wrinkle.

[0011] The wrinkle portion may include an elastic band attached along the cleavage portion between the buttocks to maintain the wrinkle.

[0012] The lining may have an upper end that is fixed to a belt portion of the pants, and both lateral ends that are fixed to both seamed sides of the pants.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0013] The above and other features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art by describing in detail exemplary embodiments thereof with reference to the attached drawings in which:

[0014] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating an appearance of pants having a hip-up function according to the present invention;

[0015] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of buttocks of the pants having a hip-up function according to the present invention;

[0016] FIG. 3 is a rear view illustrating a case in which a wearer puts on the pants having a hip-up function according to the present invention; and

[0017] FIG. 4 is a rear view illustrating a case in which a wearer puts on the pants having a hip-up function according to the present invention, in which a wrinkle portion according to another exemplary embodiment is illustrated.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0018] The present invention will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. In the drawings, portions irrelevant to a description of the present invention are omitted for clarity, and like reference numerals denote like elements.

[0019] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating an appearance of pants according to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of buttocks of the pants illustrated in FIG. 1. As illustrated, pants 10 having a hip-up function according to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention include a lining 20 provided in the buttocks of the pants so as to shape a body (in particular, buttocks) of a wearer.

[0020] The pants 10 include a front portion 11 and a rear portion 12 that are coupled to each other by sewing after cutting, and a belt portion 13. The front portion 11 and the rear portion 12 are coupled to each other by sewing portions 14 of both lateral sides (outer sides) of legs, and sewing portions 15 of internal sides of the legs. Further, the belt portion 13 is coupled to upper ends of the front portion 11 and the rear portion 12 that are coupled to each other by sewing. In addition, a cleavage portion 12a of the buttocks of the rear portion 12 is coupled by sewing. While the pants 10 having lower ends capable of covering ankles are illustrated, pants may be manufactured as shorts.

[0021] The lining 20 is formed of highly flexible and elastic fabric capable of compressing the buttocks and surrounding region when the pants 10 are worn. It is obvious that other materials having elasticity and compressing the body to shape it may be used for the lining 20.

[0022] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the lining 20 is provided in the buttocks to compress the buttocks and surrounding region of the pants 10, the upper end is fixed to the belt portion 13 of the pants 10, and lateral ends of both sides are fixed to the sewing portions 14 of both sides. Further, a cleavage portion 20a is provided between the buttocks in the lining 20 to correspond to the cleavage portion 12a between the buttocks of the pants 10.

[0023] Since the lining 20 is formed of an elastic material and its upper end and both lateral ends are fixed to the pants 10, when a wearer wears the pants 10, the pants 10 compress the body such that the buttocks are pushed upward to be shaped. In particular, the lining 20 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention has a wrinkle portion 30 in the cleavage portion 20a between the buttocks to more attractively shape the buttocks.

[0024] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the wrinkle portion 30 is formed to be elastically wrinkled along the cleavage portion 20a between the buttocks. In the wrinkle portion 30, wrinkles of the cleavage portion 20a are formed bigger than those of both sides such that the cleavage portion 20a is more elasticized than both sides of the lining 20. The wrinkle is formed in a longitudinal direction from the cleavage portion between the buttocks to be elasticized in up and down directions when a wearer wears the pants 10. That is, the wrinkle is formed in a repeated overlapping manner in up and down directions along the cleavage portion 20a. Also, as illustrated in FIG. 3, in order to maintain such a shape of the wrinkle portion 30, the cleavage portion 20a may be sewn by thread 31 in an elastic manner (e.g., zigzag) or may be bonded by an elastic bonding means. Moreover, as illustrated in FIG. 4, an elastic band 32 such as a rubber band may be bonded along the cleavage portion 20a.

[0025] Elastic resilience enables such a wrinkle portion 30 to have big wrinkles when the pants 10 are not worn, and when the pants 10 are worn, the wrinkle portion 30 stretches to fit an appearance of the body. Since the stretched wrinkle portion 30 has elasticity that returns to the original shape, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the elasticity of the cleavage portion between the buttocks may be greater than that of the surrounding region. That is, a force to tighten the buttocks is intensively applied to the cleavage portion where the wrinkle portion 30 is formed. This is because the flexibility formed by the wrinkle portion 30 together with the elasticity of the lining 20 are intensively applied to the cleavage portion. Further, this is because the upper end of the lining 20 is fixed to the belt portion 13 of the pants to upwardly stretch the cleavage portion 20a of the lining 20 in which the wrinkle portion 30 is provided.

[0026] The tightening force of the lining 20 enables lower portions (sagging portions) of the buttocks to be lifted and laterally protruding portions of the buttocks to be gathered towards the cleavage portion, so that the buttocks are shaped. That is, the sagging buttocks are lifted, and the laterally protruding portions of the buttocks are tightened towards the cleavage portion between the buttocks to shape the body.

[0027] Pants having a hip-up function according to the present invention have a wrinkle portion in a cleavage portion between buttocks in a lining, so that a tightening force of the lining functions to lift the buttocks upward, and at the same time, to gather them towards the cleavage portion between the buttocks. As a result, the buttocks are shaped. That is, lower portions (sagging portions) of the buttocks are lifted and laterally protruding portions of the buttocks are gathered towards the cleavage portion to shape the buttocks.

[0028] In the drawings and specification, there have been disclosed typical exemplary embodiments of the invention and, although specific terms are employed, they are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation. As for the scope of the invention, it is to be set forth in the following claims. Therefore, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the following claims.
