Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a levitatable adornment
assembly, and more particularly to a levitatable adornment assembly
with a gas filled balloon for showing more attractive simulation
and adornment on the garden.
[0003] 2. Description of Related Art
[0004] The lawn and garden industry is further and further
developed. Now people purchase gardening products and services, and
consumers place the greatest value on their gardens for a range of
activities and functions. For example, people buy a solid resin or
metal figurine in order to decorate their garden. Especially,
people assemble some dolls in the garden to celebrate the
holiday.
[0005] However, the dolls or the adornments are solid bodies and
they are usually in too great size to be transported easily. Some
dolls are assembled with a long wood or steal stick which is
inserted into the ground. Similarly, length and weight of the stick
can not be reduced, therefore, the cost of manufacturing and
transportation are high. Further, it's not convenient for a user to
preserve the adornments. On the other hand, a kind of inflatable is
used for decorating garden. The inflatable has an opening and a
blast blower continuously supplies air into the Body through the
opening. Thus the garden product in inflatable type requires
continue air supply to maintain the shape of the body so that
energy consuming is high. Both the fixed doll and the inflatable
type have disadvantage in use. Further, some ornaments are hanged
on the wall to show the decoration effect. However, the hanged
ornaments simply represent still decoration but not simulate the
movement of the object. Thus, the traditional adornments fail to
show the attractive effect of moving and lighting.
[0006] In view of the shortcomings of the lawn and garden product,
the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience
in the related field to conduct extensive researches and
experiments, and finally developed a levitatable adornment assembly
for garden application in accordance with the present invention to
overcome the foregoing shortcomings-of the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] With reference to FIG. 1, FIG. 1 sets forth a perspective
view of the levitatable adornment assembly constructed in
accordance with the present invention and generally designated by
reference numeral 1. The levitatable adornment assembly 1 performs
as the garden and lawn product to provide an improved decoration
effects. The levitatable adornment assembly 1 comprises a
shape-convertible object 10, a levitation member 11, a lighting
unit 12, a conducting wire 13, and an electrical power supply unit
14. For the purpose of illustration, the levitation member 11 and
other members that are inside the shape-convertible object 10 shown
in dashed-line representation. It is recognized that the
shape-convertible object 10 is formed of a light-weight textile or
the like and are formed to a variety of shapes. FIG. 1 shows the
first embodiment of the present invention and the shape-convertible
object 10 is formed as a ghost torso. The shape-convertible object
10 defines an interior cavity 100 within which the levitation
member 11, the lighting unit 12, and a portion of the conducting
wire 13 are disposed. The levitation member 11 disposed within the
interior cavity 100 is provided for levitating the
shape-convertible object 10. In this embodiment, the
shape-convertible object 10 has a head portion 101, a body portion
103 and two arm portions 102. The levitation member 11 is disposed
within the interior cavity 100 defined by the head portion 101 for
levitating the shape-convertible object 10 in an upright
position.
[0018] Moreover, the lighting unit 12, the conducting wire 13, and
the electrical power supply unit 14 provide the lighting effect of
the levitatable adornment assembly 1. The lighting unit 12 is
attached to the levitation member 11 and the electrical power
supply unit 14 is positioned at a predetermined place. The
conducting wire 13 is connected electrically between the lighting
unit 12 and the electrical power supply unit 14 so that the
electrical power supply unit 14 can output electrical power to the
lighting unit 12. In the embodiment, the electrical power supply
unit 14 is positioned on the ground and the levitation member 11
can be held not to float away by the conducting wire 13. In other
words, the conducting wire 13 provides not only electrical
connection but also holding force to keep the levitation member 11
from floating away. Concerning the stress concentration, two ends
of the conducting wire 13 preferably have a bend, i.e., have the
shape of an L to prevent the conducting wire 13 from breaking at
the connection between the levitation member 11 and the conducting
wire 13, and between conducting wire 13 and the electrical power
supply unit 14.
[0019] Besides the above-mentioned L-shape of the ends of the
conducting wire 13, a supporting member 15 further contributes to
securing the conducting wire 13. The supporting member is located
at a predetermined position of the conducting wire 13 and is held
by at least two wires 16 that extend obliquely upwards to connect
to the shape-convertible object 10. Please refer to FIG. 1B, the
supporting member 15 comprises a base 151, a hole 152 on the base
151 and at least two first arch-shaped ring member 153 integrally

connected to the first arch-shaped ring member 153 and the other
end of the wire 16 is connected to a position of the
shape-convertible object 10 (for example a shoulder portion). Each
wire 16 is longer than a section of the conducting wire 13 between
the lighting unit 12 and the supporting member 15. The longer wire
16 and the supporting member 15 are constructed as supporting means
in order to provide greater force against the stress when the
shape-convertible object 10 swings so that the conducting wire 13
is protected.
[0020] With reference to FIG. 1A, the lighting unit 12 comprises a
holder 121 and at least one first lighting element 122 disposed
inside the holder 121. The lighting unit 12 is attached on the
levitation member 11 in order to project light onto the levitation
member 11. The levitation member 11 is preferably made of a
transparent material so that the light can be seen. The lighting
unit 12 further comprises an extending socket 123 which is
electrically connected to the electrical power supply unit 14 for
another electrical element. For example, the shape-convertible
object 10 has two second lighting elements 122' at the eye
positions. The second lighting elements 122' are electrically
connected with the extending socket 123 so that the second lighting
elements 122' can illuminate as the sparkle of eye. The first and
the second lighting elements 122, 122' are light emitting diodes
(LEDs) or electro luminescent (EL) elements with a variety of
colors. For example, the first lighting elements 122 shown in FIG.
1A are red, blue and green LEDs, and the two second lighting
elements 122' are red LEDs. In another embodiment, if the
shape-convertible object 10 is a pumpkin-shaped (not shown), the
first lighting elements 122 can project orange color.
[0021] FIG. 1C shows the perspective view of the electrical power
supply unit 14 and the electrical power supply unit 14 can be
inserted and positioned on the ground. In the embodiment, the
electrical power supply unit 14 is a rectangular box which
preserves a battery and a controlling circuit. The battery and the
controlling circuit respectively supply power and control the first
and the second lighting elements 122, 122'. For example, the
battery can be at least one rechargeable battery or a solar-powered
battery. Alternatively, the electrical power supply unit 14 can be
a solar-power power supply unit. The solar-power power supply unit
has a chip on the top thereof and rechargeable batteries
thereinside for supplying the power of the above-mentioned
electronic devices. The controlling circuit includes a motion
sensor, illumination sensor or a time controller and another
electrical circuit so that the lighting element can project light
depending on movement of human (i.e. motion detection) or project
light in a time period (i.e. timing control). Furthermore, the
electrical power supply unit 14 has an insertion structure 141
extending downwardly from the bottom of the rectangular box. The
insertion structure 141 with a tip is used to insert into ground
for fixing the electrical power supply unit 14 on the ground. There
are two second arch-shaped ring members 142 on the opposite side of
the rectangular box and two auxiliary insertion members 143 are
inserted into the ground. A hook portion of each auxiliary
insertion members 143 hooks the corresponding second arch-shaped
ring member 142 for fixing the electrical power supply unit 14 to
the ground more steadily. In other words, the arch-shaped ring
members 142 and the auxiliary insertion members 143 are used as
auxiliary insertion means to fix the electrical power supply unit
14 on the ground.
[0022] Please refer back to FIG. 1, there are auxiliary levitation
members 11' disposed within the cavity defined by arm portions 102
of the shape-convertible object 10 so that the levitatable
adornment assembly 1 can perform some particular effects.
[0023] In accordance with the above-mentioned structure, the
levitatable adornment assembly 1 can be set forth on the lawn or
garden. The shape-convertible object 10 is levitated by the
floatation of the levitation member 11 in order to perform a
Halloween adornment. In other words, the light-weight
shape-convertible object 10 can be floated by the buoyancy of the
levitation member 11. The electrical power supply unit 14 is
steadily fixed on the ground and the shape-convertible object 10
and the levitation member 11 is essentially held by the conducting
wire 13 which connects to the un-levitatable electrical power
supply unit 14. Furthermore, the wire 16 and the supporting member
15 provide the supporting function and protection for the
conducting wire 13. When wine blows, the soft and fabric
shape-convertible object 10 swings smoothly for performing some
special ornamental and floating effects. On the other hand, the
electrical power supply unit 14 outputs electrical power to the
first lighting element 122 of the lighting unit 12 to project
illumination in order to show the face of the shape-convertible
object 10. The electrical power can controlled by the time
controller of the controlling circuit so that the lighting element
122 project light in the dark environment for example 6:00 PM to
12:00 AM. Alternatively, The electrical power can controlled by the
motion sensor of the controlling circuit so that the lighting
element 122 project light as a person goes pass the
shape-convertible object 10. Simultaneously, the second lighting
elements 122' project light as the eyesight of the ghost-shaped
doll.
[0024] During an application, the lighting unit 12 further has
fiber optics (not shown) to improve the lighting effect and the
electrical power supply unit 14 can be a rechargeable battery or a
solar-power battery to provide the power for the fiber optics and
lighting elements.

shape or animal shape. In the first and second embodiments, the
levitation member 11 and the auxiliary levitation members 11' can
be helium (He) gas filled balloons and the balloons can be any
suitable shape, for example, the balloons inside the head portion
101 is circular and the balloons in the arm portion 102 is
bar-shaped. However, the levitation member 11 and the auxiliary
levitation members 11' can be any levitatable means for providing
the buoyancy to levitate the levitatable adornment assembly 1. On
the other hand, the shape-convertible object 10 can be used for
various purposes, such as ornamental dressing, some advertising or
special messages.
[0026] In summation of the description above, the present invention
