structure for receiving at least one electronic device.
[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art
[0004] As the computer industry develops, more and more people use
computers. Using notebook computers, users can conveniently store
data and use it for business or teaching purposes when abroad. The
design of notebooks tends to be light and thin in order to make it
convenient for the user to carry the notebook. However, when the
operation speed of the computer is high, the operation property of
the computer is reduced due to the high heat generated by the
computer. Furthermore, because the size of the notebook is
restricted, an assistant heat-dissipating pad has been invented in
order to help dissipate the heat generated by the notebook.
[0005] FIG. 1 shows a usage, schematic view of a heat-dissipating
pad of the prior art. The heat-dissipating pad P of the prior art
only can be used to dissipate the heat generated by the notebook N.
Hence, the heat-dissipating pad P of the prior art has a single
heat-dissipating function only. Moreover, it is inconvenient for
the user to carry or store the heat-dissipating pad P of the prior
art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0031] Referring to FIG. 2A, the first embodiment of the present
invention provides a portable receiving structure for receiving at
least one electronic device N, including: a soft unit, a retaining
unit 2a and a hard unit 3a.
[0032] The soft unit has a receiving pad body la for receiving the
electronic device N such as notebook. The receiving pad body 1a is
composed of a first pad body 1a, a second pad body 12a and a third
pad body 13a connected between one side of the first pad body 1a
and one side of the second pad body 12a. The first pad body la and
the second pad body 12a are close to each other and are
respectively connected with two opposite sides of the third pad
body 13a. The length of the third pad body 13a is smaller than the
lengths of the first pad body 11a and the second pad body 12a in
order to form the receiving pad body 1a as U-shaped. The first pad
body 11a has at least three concave recesses 110a.
[0033] Moreover, the retaining unit 2a is connected with the
receiving pad body 1a in order to retain the electronic device N in
the receiving pad body 1a. In the first embodiment, the retaining
unit 2a has at least three retaining straps 20a connected with
three lateral sides of the second pad body 12a. Each retaining
strap 20a has a retaining element 201a disposed on its end side,
and the retaining elements 201a can be buckling elements.
[0034] Furthermore, the hard unit 3a can be a metal or nonmetal
such as wood, plastics or rubber etc. The hard unit 3a is an
L-shaped board body disposed on outer surfaces of the first pad
body 11a and the third pad body 13a. The L-shaped board body has a
plane portion 30a and a support portion 31a extended downwardly
from one side of the plane portion 30a. In addition, the hard unit
3a has at least three retaining holes 300a corresponding to the at
least three concave recesses 110a and at least three retaining
bodies 301a disposed on its outer surface and corresponding to the
at least three retaining holes 300a. The retaining bodies 301a are
buckling bodies mated with buckling elements. In other words, the
buckling elements (male) and the buckling bodies (female) are
joined together by buckling. Moreover, if the first embodiment
further includes many retaining holes 300a and retaining bodies
301a, the retaining straps 20a is movably mated with the hard unit
3a in order to receive the electronic device N with any size in the
receiving pad body 1a. In other words, when the receiving pad body
1a needs to receive the electronic device N with any size, the user
can adjust the retaining straps 20a to achieve the object.
[0035] Hence, referring to FIGS. 2A and 2B, each retaining strap
20a passes through the corresponding concave recess 110a and the
corresponding retaining hole 300a in order to fix each retaining
element 201a on the corresponding retaining body 301a. Therefore,
the electronic device N can be firmly fixed in the receiving pad
body 1a by matching the retaining elements 201a and the retaining
bodies 301a.
[0036] Referring to FIG. 2C, when the user wants to use the
electronic device N on a table, the electronic device N can be
placed on the plane portion 30a of the hard unit 3a. Not only it is
convenient and comfortable for the user to use the electronic
device N due to the support of the support portion 31a (L-shaped
board body) of the hard unit 3a (the support portion 31a makes the
wrist of the user comfortable), but also the heat-dissipating
effect of the electronic device N is increased due to the L-shaped
design of the hard unit 3a. In addition, the three retaining
elements 201a can be pressed under the bottom side of the hard unit
3a in order to lift one side of the electronic device N close to
the user according to different usage habits.
[0037] Referring to FIG. 2D, when the user wants to use the
electronic device N on his/her two legs, the electronic device N
can be placed on the plane portion 30a of the hard unit 3a. Not
only it is convenient and comfortable for the user to use the
electronic device N due to the support of the support portion 31a
(L-shaped board body) of the hard unit 3a (the support portion 31a
makes the wrist of the user comfortable), but also the
heat-dissipating effect of the electronic device N is increased due
to the L-shaped design of the hard unit 3a. In addition, the hard
unit 3a can prevent the heat generated from the electronic device N
from being transmitted to the two legs of the user in order to
comfortably use the electronic device N on the two legs of the
user.
[0038] Referring to FIG. 2E, another hard unit 3a' is a J-shaped
board body. The J-shaped board body has a plane portion 30a, a
support portion 31a extended downwardly from one side of the plane
portion 30a and an extending portion 32a extended forwardly from
the support portion 30a. The hard unit 3a' is disposed on outer
surfaces of the first pad body 11a and the third pad body 13a and
on one partial outer surface of the second pad body 12a.
[0039] Referring to FIGS. 3A and 3B, the difference between the
second embodiment and the first embodiment is that: in the second
embodiment, a retaining unit 2b has at least three retaining straps
20b connected with a second pad body 12b of a receiving pad body
1b. Each retaining strap 20b has a retaining element 201b disposed
on its end side. A hard unit 3b is a plane-shaped board body
disposed on an outer surface of a first pad body 11b. The hard unit
3b has a plane portion 30b. The hard unit 3b has at least three
retaining bodies 301b disposed on its outer surface and
corresponding to the at least three retaining elements 201b. Hence,
the retaining elements 201b are directly and respectively fixed on
the retaining bodies 301b in order to retain electronic device N in
the receiving pad body 1b. The retaining bodies 301b are adhesive
bodies, and the retaining elements 201b are adhesive elements mated
with the adhesive bodies. In other words, the adhesive elements
(male) and the adhesive bodies (female) are joined together by
adhering (such as using Velcro). Moreover, the retaining straps 20b
is movably mated with the hard unit 3b by using Velcro in order to
receive the electronic device N with any size in the receiving pad
body 1b. In other words, when the receiving pad body 1b needs to
receive the electronic device N with any size, the user can adjust
the retaining straps 20b to achieve the object.
[0040] Referring to FIG. 3C, when the user wants to use the
electronic device N on a table, the second pad body 12b can be
rolled to one side of a third pad body 13b and the electronic
device N is placed on the plane portion 30b of the hard unit 3b.
Not only it is convenient and comfortable for the user to use the
electronic device N due to the support of the rolled second pad
body 12b' and the deformed third pad body 13b' (the mate of the
rolled second pad body 12b' and the deformed third pad body 13b'
makes the wrist of the user comfortable), but also the
heat-dissipating effect of the electronic device N is increased due
to the support of the rolled second pad body 12b' and the deformed
third pad body 13b'. In addition, the three retaining elements 201b
can be pressed under the bottom side of the hard unit 3b in order
to lift one side of the electronic device N close to the user
according to different usage habits.
[0041] Referring to FIG. 3D, when the user wants to use the
electronic device N on his/her two legs, the second pad body 12b
can be rolled to one side of the third pad body 13b and the
electronic device N is placed on the plane portion 30b of the hard
unit 3b. Not only it is convenient and comfortable for the user to
use the electronic device N due to the support of the rolled second
pad body 12b' and the deformed third pad body 13b' (the mate of the
rolled second pad body 12b' and the deformed third pad body 13b'
makes the wrist of the user comfortable), but also the
heat-dissipating effect of the electronic device N is increased due
to the support of the rolled second pad body 12b' and the deformed
third pad body 13b'. In addition, the hard unit 3b can prevent the
heat generated from the electronic device N from being transmitted
to the two legs of the user in order to comfortably use the
electronic device N on the two legs of the user.
[0042] However, the method for rolling the second pad body 12b' to
one side of the third pad body 13b' does not use to limit the
present invention. Any methods for deforming the second pad body
12b in order to support the second pad body 12b (for example,
folding the second pad body) are protected in the present
invention.
[0043] Referring to FIGS. 4A and 4B, the difference between the
third embodiment and the first and the second embodiment is that:
in the third embodiment, a first pad body 11c of a receiving pad
body 1c has at least two concave recesses 110c formed on its two
opposite sides; A hard unit 3c is composed of an L-shaped board
body Lc and a plane-shaped board body Pc, the L-shaped board body
Lc is disposed on outer surfaces of the first pad body 11c and a

[0044] Moreover, a retaining unit 2c has at least two retaining
straps 20c corresponding to the at least two concave recesses 110c
and connected with the plane-shaped board body Pc. Each retaining
strap 20c has a retaining element 201c disposed on its end side,
and each retaining strap 20c passes through the corresponding
concave recess 110c and the corresponding retaining hole 300c in
order to fix each retaining element 201c on the corresponding
retaining body 301c. The retaining bodies 301c are buttons, and the
retaining elements 201c are buttonholes mated with the buttons. In
other words, the buttonholes (male) and the buttons (female) are
joined together by buckling.
[0045] The third embodiment of the present invention further
includes: two handles 4c far away the third pad body 13c in order
to respectively connect with one end side of the L-shaped board
body Lc and one end side of the plane-shaped board body Pc of the
hard unit 3c. The two handles 4c are joined together by buckling or
adhering. In the third embodiment, the two handles 4c are joined

[0049] 1. The electronic device such as notebook can be firmly
received in the receiving pad body by using the retaining unit.
[0050] 2. Not only it is convenient and comfortable for the user to
use the electronic device due to an inclined design (the support of
the hard unit or the receiving pad body makes the wrist of the user
comfortable), but also the heat-dissipating effect of the
electronic device is increased due to the inclined design.
[0051] 3. The hard unit can prevent the heat generated from the
electronic device from being transmitted to the two legs of the
user in order to comfortably use the electronic device on the two
legs of the user.
[0052] 4. The present invention is portable by matching the
receiving pad body and the hard unit.
[0053] 5. The retaining unit has a plurality of retaining straps
movably mated with a hard unit in order to receive the electronic
device with any size in a receiving pad body. In other words, when
the receiving pad body needs to receive the electronic device with
any size, the user can adjust the retaining straps to achieve the
object.
