Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to tool cover, and
particularly to a tool cover having the function of rust proof and
dreg removing.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] With the improvement of human life, tools are used in
decoration and many different kinds of works, however in using,
dregs generate in cutting woods. For example saws are frequently
used in cut. The saw is formed by a handle and a knife. A saw has
sawteeth which is harmful so that in storage, it is necessary to be
well protected. Furthermore, the sawteeth easily adhere with dust
and dregs so as to affect the quality in working.
[0003] In one improvement structure, the saw is combined with a
cover. The cover has a casing with a receiving space. The receiving
space has an opening and a penetrating portion which is spaced with
the opening. A button is swingably pivoted to the casing at the
side having the through portion. The cover further includes a press
portion and a stop opposite to the press portion and corresponding
to the through portion. The button can be controlled to swing
between an inward protruding position and an outward curl position.
When the button is at the inward protruding position, the stop will
enter into the though portion, and when the button is at the
outward curl position, the stop will curl upwards to be out of the
through portion. The cover further has an elastic body which is
installed between the button and the casing and provides an elastic
force to cause the stop to move inwards. A saw has a saw sheet
which can enter into the receiving space from the opening. A saw
handle is installed at one end of the saw sheet and is separable to
be positioned by the button. The saw handle has a flange which
protrudes outwards and can be stopped by the stop. In use, the user
holds the handle, and presses the press portion so that the button
moves to the outward curl position from the inward protruding
position and the flange of the saw handle releases from the
buckling of the stop so that the saw can be pulled out of the
casing.
[0004] However although the prior art saw cover can receive and
protect the saw therein, since the gaps between the sawteeth is
very small so that the wood dregs easily accumulates thereon. If
oil or other adhesive is adhered thereon, the wood dregs will
accumulate in the gaps and are very difficult to be removed so that
the saw can not be used well, even it can not be used. Moreover,
since the sawteeth are the main portion contacting the wood dregs
and thus are wear seriously. Generally, the saw is viewed as a
consumable object so that they have no the function of wear proof
and the rust proof. Thus if the saw is worn or rusted seriously,
the user will not improve it. Finally, if the saw can not be well
functioned, it is deserted. This is not economic. Furthermore, the
saw cover has no function of rustproof. A rusted saw in the saw
cover possibly causes the dregs to leave in the cover. The oxidized
dregs will adhere at the interior of the saw. Not only it is
difficult to pull out the saw, but also the cover can not be used.
Thus the prior art is not practical and is necessary to be
improved.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The main object of the present invention is to provide a
transition area which has the function of rust proof and dreg
removing.
[0006] To achieve above object, the present invention provides a
tool cover having a receiving body.
[0007] The receiving body has an approximate rectangular shape. An
interior of the receiving body is formed with a receiving space.
One end of the receiving space has an opening for receiving
objects.
[0008] The opening is installed with a dreg removing portion which
is formed by a brush body. The dreg removing portion is installed
at two sides of a lower side of the opening of the receiving body
and extends inwards to a predetermined distance. Thereby when
objects enter into the receiving body, the dregs can be removed
without accumulating in the receiving body.
[0009] A rust proof portion is installed at a rear side of the dreg
removing portion of the receiving body. The rust proof portion is
made of a sponge which has an approximate U shape to encircle in
the interior of the receiving body. The rust proof portion has the
effect of absorbing oil or fat so as to be coated thereon. When
objects move into the receiving body, the rust proof portion will
adhere the oil or fat thereon so that the object easily oxidization
can be coated with oil or fat for isolating exterior air without
rusting or delaying the time period of rusting.
[0010] Besides, a transition area is installed between the dreg
removing portion and the rust proof portion. The transition area
serves for isolating the dreg removing portion and the rust proof
portion. Thereby when objects enter into the receiving body, the
transition area will contain the dregs removed from the dreg
removing portion without dregs will enter into the rust proof
portion to affect the function of coating of the oil or fat by the
rust proof portion. When objects move out of the receiving body,
the opening of the receiving body will face to the ground so that
the dregs in the transition area can fall out to retain the
cleanness of the receiving body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0018] In order that those skilled in the art can further
understand the present invention, a description will be provided in
the following in details. However, these descriptions and the
appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art
to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the
present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and
spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
[0019] The present invention relates to a tool cover, as referring
to FIGS. 1 to 3, the tool cover 1 has a receiving body 2. For
simplifying, in this embodiment, a saw is used as an example, but
it is not used to confine the scope of the present invention. Other
tools are suitable for the present invention.
[0020] The receiving body 2 has an approximate rectangular shape.
An interior of the receiving body 2 is formed with a receiving
space 21. One end of the receiving space 21 has an opening 22 for
receiving objects.
[0021] The opening 22 is installed with a dreg removing portion 3
which is formed by a brush body 31. The dreg removing portion 3 is
installed at two sides of a lower side of the opening 22 of the
receiving body 2 and extends inwards to a predetermined distance.
Thereby when objects enter into the receiving body 2, the dregs can
be removed without accumulating in the receiving body 2.
[0022] A rust proof portion 4 is installed at a rear side of the
dreg removing portion 3 of the receiving body 2. The rust proof
portion 4 is made of a sponge 41 which has an approximate U shape
to encircle in the interior of the receiving body 2. The rust proof
portion 4 has the effect of absorbing oil or fat so as to be coated
thereon. When objects move into the receiving body 2, the rust
proof portion 4 will adhere the oil or fat thereon so that the
object easily oxidization can be coated with oil or fat for
isolating exterior air without rusting or delaying the time period
of rusting.
[0023] Besides, a transition area 5 is installed between the dreg
removing portion 3 and the rust proof portion 4. The transition
area 5 serves for isolating the dreg removing portion 3 and the
rust proof portion 4. Thereby when objects enter into the receiving
body 2, the transition area 5 will contain the dregs removed from
the dreg removing portion 3 without dregs will enter into the rust
proof portion 4 to affect the function of coating of the oil or fat
by the rust proof portion 4. When objects move out of the receiving
body 2, the opening of the receiving body 2 will face to the ground
so that the dregs in the transition area 5 can fall out to retain
the cleanness of the receiving body 2.
