Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention is related to a powder puff box in
which the puff is directly formed with a central conduit through
which makeup powder can be conducted in and out without clogging
the conduit. The processing and assembling procedure of the powder
puff box is simplified so that the manufacturing cost of the powder
puff box is lowered. In addition, the puff of the powder puff box
is not likely to be humidified and contaminated. Therefore,
bacteria are not easy to be cultured on the surface of the
puff.
[0002] FIGS. 1 and 2 show a conventional powder puff box 10
disclosed in European Patent No. 1020040009670. The powder puff box
10 includes a receiving case 11 having a receptacle 111 and
coupling section 112, a partitioning cap 12 having an engaging
section 121 and a coupled section 12, a conduit 13 having a flange
section 131, a spongy body 14 having a shaft hole 141 and a bound
section 142, a puff enclosure 15 and a cover body 16 having a
mirror face 161. The spongy body 14 is I-shaped. The spongy body 14
includes a flange section 143 having a plane bottom face and a
puffing section 144 opposite to the attaching face. The engaging
section 121 is formed with a central binding hole 1212. The spongy
body 14 is plugged in the binding hole 1212 with the bound section
142 tightly held in the binding hole 1212. Under such circumstance,
the flange section 143 is fitted in the engaging section 121, while
the puffing section 144 protrudes from top face of the engaging
section 121. The puffing section 144 is enclosed by the puff
enclosure 15. The conduit 13 is upward fitted through the central
shaft hole 141 of the spongy body 14 with the flange section 131
attaching to the plane bottom face of the flange section 143 of the
spongy body 14. Several protuberances 1211 are formed on outer
circumference of the engaging section 121 of the partitioning cap
12. An annular groove 162 is formed on inner circumference of an
open end of the cover body 16. The protuberances 1211 are chucked
in the annular groove 162 to engage the cover body 16 with the
partitioning cap 12.
[0003] Some shortcomings exist in the above structure as follows:
[0004] 1. When assembled, the I-shaped spongy body 14 must be
plugged in the binding hole 1212 with the bound section 142 tightly
held in the binding hole 1212. In addition, the powder is filled
into the receiving case 11 through the conduit 13. Such procedure
is time-consuming, laborious and troublesome. Therefore, the
manufacturing cost of the powder puff box is higher. This lowers
the competitive ability of the product on the market. [0005] 2. The
conduit 13 is fitted in the central hole of the spongy body 14 for
guiding the powder out to the surface of the puffing section 144.
In use, a user puffs her face with the puff enclosure 15 through
which the powder strains out. However, in case of over-puff, the
makeup powder tends to adhere to the bottom face of the flange
section 143 or stagnate in the gap between the receiving case 11
and the partitioning cap 12. In some cases, the makeup powder will
even clog the conduit 13 without straining through the puff
enclosure 15. Under such circumstance, a user needs to repeatedly
shake the receiving case 11 to unblock the conduit 13 for further
use. Therefore, it is quite inconvenient to use such powder puff.
[0006] 3. After a period of use, the spongy body 14 is likely to be
humidified and contaminated. Under such circumstance, bacteria are
easy to be cultured on the surface of the powder puff. In addition,
the powder puff may smell bad. This will make it uncomfortable to
use the powder puff.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to
provide a powder puff box including a receiving case having a
receptacle, a partitioning cap, a puff having a puffing section, a
puff enclosure and a cover body. The receiving case has a coupling
section and the partitioning cap has a coupled section coupled with
the coupling section of the receiving case. The partitioning cap
further has a small-diameter engaging section protruding from the
coupled section. The engaging section is formed with a central
fitting hole. The puff has a puffing section and a small-diameter
held section protruding from the puffing section. The puffing
section of the puff is formed with a large-diameter central
conduit. The held section is formed with a small-diameter
perforation communicating with the conduit, whereby the conduit and
the perforation together form a passage through which makeup powder
is conducted in and out. The processing and assembling procedure of
the powder puff box is simplified so that the manufacturing cost of
the powder puff box is lowered.
[0008] It is a further object of the present invention to provide
the above powder puff box in which the makeup powder is hindered
from clogging the passage composed of the conduit and the
perforation.
[0009] It is still a further object of the present invention to
provide the above powder puff box in which the puff is
substantially T-shaped and is integrally molded from an elastic
soft rubber material. The puffing section of the puff has a form of
a beveled tray. The held section is integrally connected with the
puffing section. The puff is not likely to be humidified and
contaminated. Therefore, bacteria are not easy to be cultured on
the surface of the puff. In addition, the makeup powder is hindered
from adhering to the surface of the puffing section or stagnating
in the gap between the receiving case and the partitioning cap.
[0010] The present invention can be best understood through the
following description and accompanying drawings wherein:

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] Please refer to FIGS. 3 and 4. The powder puff box 20 of the
present invention includes a receiving case 21 having a receptacle
21, a partitioning cap 22, a puff 23 having a puffing section 231,
a puff enclosure 24 and a cover body 25 having a mirror face 251.
The receiving case 21 has a coupling section 212. An outer
circumference of the coupling section 212 is formed with an outer
thread. The partitioning cap 22 has a coupled section 221. An inner
circumference of the coupled section 221 is formed with an inner
thread. The outer thread is screwed in the inner thread to couple
the receiving case 21 with the partitioning cap 22. The
partitioning cap 22 further has a small-diameter engaging section
222 protruding from the coupled section 221. Several protuberances
2221 are formed on an outer circumference of the engaging section
222. The engaging section 222 is formed with a central fitting hole
2222. The puff 23 has a small-diameter held section 232 protruding
from the puffing section 231. The puffing section 231 of the puff
23 is formed with a large-diameter central conduit 2311. The held
section 232 is formed with a small-diameter perforation 2321
communicating with the conduit 2311. The held section 232 is held
in the fitting hole 2222, whereby the conduit 2311 and the
perforation 2321 together form a passage for makeup powder A. The
puff 23 is substantially T-shaped and is integrally molded from an
elastic soft rubber material. The puffing section 231 of the puff
23 has a form of a beveled tray. The held section 232 is integrally
connected with the puffing section 231. An annular groove 2322 is
formed on outer circumference of the held section 232 and adapted
to a rim of the fitting hole 2222. A bottom end of the held section
232 has an attaching face 2323. An annular groove 252 is formed on
inner circumference of an open end of the cover body 25. The
protuberances 2221 of the engaging section 222 are chucked in the
annular groove 2221 to engage the cover body 25 with the
partitioning cap 22. The present invention further includes a basin
member 26 fitted with an open end of the receiving case 21. The
basin member 26 has a holding swelling 261 and serves to hinder the
makeup powder from leaking out of the receptacle 211 of the
receiving case 21.
[0018] When assembled, as shown in FIG. 5, the held section 232 of
the puff 23 is directly pressed into the fitting hole 2222 of the
engaging section 222 to make the rim of the fitting hole 2222
chucked in the annular groove 2322. Then the puffing section 231 is
enclosed by the puff enclosure 24. Then the partitioning cap 22 is
coupled with the receiving case 21 with the coupled section 221
fixedly screwed on the coupling section 212. The conduit 2311 of
the puff 23 communicates with the perforation 2321 of the held
section 232 to together form a passage for the makeup powder. The
protuberances 2221 of the partitioning cap 22 are chucked in the
annular groove 252 of the cover body 25 to engage with cover body
25 with the partitioning cap 22. In use, the makeup powder A in the
receptacle 211 is directly conducted through the perforation 2321
into the conduit 2311 to strain out through the puff enclosure 24
as shown in FIG. 6. The mirror face 251 of the cover body 25
enables a user to conveniently puff her face with the powder
puff.
[0019] According to the above arrangement, the puff 23 is not
likely to be humidified and contaminated. Therefore, bacteria are
not easy to be cultured on the surface of the puff 23. In addition,
the makeup powder A is hindered from adhering to the surface of the
puffing section 231 or stagnating in the gap between the receiving
case and the partitioning cap. The puff 23 is directly formed with
a central conduit 2311 through which the makeup powder A is
conducted in and out. Therefore, the processing procedure is
simplified and the cost for the material is lowered. Also, the
components of the powder puff box are easier to assemble.
[0020] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the
present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many
modifications of the above embodiments can be made without
departing from the spirit of the present invention.
