Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to the baby protection apparatus, and more particularly to an egg-shaped 3D portable basket for baby which has a plurality of arcuate inserting plate positioned around the circumference of basket to provide elastic protection to the baby.

[0002] Conventionally, baby portable basket provides baby laying on it. The nurse can carrying or inserting the basket on to a baby pushcart or it is used as a baby chair in a car. Its also convenient to carry the basket indoor or outerdoor. Nevertheless, this basket has a plain plate or slightly arcuate plate which only uses to support the basket, which is not beautiful. Further, they add stripes (iron wires) to the inside or outside of the plates for strengthen the plates to support and protect baby in the basket but it damages the wholly outer look of the basket and increase the weight of the basket.

[0003] Further, the oviparous creatures are principally multiplied through laying the ovoid, after the ovoid is laying out, the embryo begins to absorb the nutritious substances for the yolk after a hatch time, the new generations such as a chicken, a duck, a bird and a turtle are therefore given birth. The ovoid is commonly called an egg each of which has an eggshell. The eggshell has a thin wall but strong structure for example, an egg of the ostrich, though it eggshell has only 0.2 cm in thickness, but it can suffer a man's weight that about 80-100 kilograms.

[0004] Nevertheless, a baby has no any protection means, if the baby portable basket is made like an eggshell which not only light, formative beauty, but the structural is hard and may yield the eggshell protection result. Thus this invention is based on the eggshell conception which is applied on the baby portable basket.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

[0005] The present invention has a main object to provide an egg-shaped 3D portable basket for baby which utilizes the egg protection capabilities and beautiful out look. The front inserting plate and the rear inserting plate are all according the egg-shaped to produce a arc structure which is beauty, light weighted and hard for creating the protection functions.

[0006] Accordingly, the egg-shaped 3D portable basket for baby of the present invention comprises generally:

[0007] a main frame made of a plurality of arcuate rods to surround a ring shaped and a pair of coupling means on the top;

[0008] a packing cloth disposed on the main frame to enable the baby sitting down or laying on the bottom of the basket;

[0009] several arcuate plates which have different arc along their longitudinal and horizontal orientations belong to the inserting plate;

[0010] Thereby, the inserting plate have a special feature of light weighted, thin, elastic and bumpproof to protect the baby and to keep 3D egg-shaped outer look is a principal task.

[0011] The present invention will become more fully understood by reference to the following detailed description thereof when read in conjunction with the attached drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0012] FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention,

[0013] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the front and rear inserting plates,

[0014] FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the front and rear inserting plates, taken along line 1-1 of FIG. 1,

[0015] FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the front and rear inserting plates, taken along line 1'-1' of FIG. 1,

[0016] FIG. 5 is a perspective view to show the assembly of FIG. 1,

[0017] FIG. 6 is a plane view of FIG. 5, and

[0018] FIG. 7 is a sectional view to show a part of FIG. 5.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0019] With reference to the drawings and initiated from FIGS. 1 and 2, the egg-shaped 3D portable basket for baby of the present invention comprises a main frame 10, a packing cloth 20 and several inserting plates 30.

[0020] The main frame 10 is composed of a pair of front arcuate rod 11 and rear arcuate rod 12 connected at their ends by a pair of coupling means 13 to form an egg-shaped ring and an arcuate handle (not shown) pivoted to the pair of coupling means 13, wherein the front arcuate rod 11 has a semi-circular shaped and rear arcuate rod has a roughly U-shaped configuration. The main frame 10 has an underside enabling to disposed in a baby pushcart.

[0021] The packing cloth 20 has two layers, a plurality of clamps 21 at upper edge for clamping the main frame 10, a folding portion on the top for wrapping the front and rear arcuate rods 11 and 12, a plurality of buttons 22 for fastening the folding portion to the cloth 20, an inner space to enabling a baby to sit or lay down therein, and a pair of seams 23 respectively formed in the front and rear portions of the cloth for disposing the inserting plates 30 in the cloth 20 and fastening by a pair of zippers 24.

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the inserting plates 30 includes a front arcuate plate 31 and a rear arcuate plate 32. The front arcuate plate 31 has a large arc on the transverse orientation larger than its vertical orientation. The rear arcuate plate 32 has a roughly U-shaped horizontal tangent plate of transverse orientation and a slight arc of vertical orientation. They are made of EVA material by heat pressing method and has the thickness of about 4 to 5 mm so it is thin, light weight, elastic and bumpproof. Further, there is a bottom plate 25 in the packing cloth 20 (as shown in FIG. 7).

[0023] Referring to FIGS. 1, 5, 6 and 7, to design of the present invention is to follow 3D egg-shaped conception by removing the upper portion and lower portion of the eggshell and keeping middle portion as a model to finished the design. The front and rear arcuate plates 31 and 32, the bottom plate 25, the front arcuate rod and rear arcuate rod are all finished by following the middle portion the eggshell. This elements all can suffer outer compact force or squeezed by out tensions. The front arcuate rod 11 and rear arcuate rod 12 together with bottom plate 25 during suffer out collision, can protect the baby from injury. Further the thickness of 4-5 mm in addition to the curvature of the front and rear inserting plate 31 and 32 make the portable basket more strong, good elasticity and present the 3D beautiful configuration.

[0024] Note that the specification relating to the above embodiment should be construed as an exemplary rather than as a limitative of the present invention, with many variations and modifications being readily attainable by a person of average skill in the art without departing from the spirit or scope thereof as defined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
