Pull-tab for pull-top can

Abstract

This invention is an improvement of pull-tab for pull-top cans used for beverages, beer and food for a long period of storage. The pull-tab's terminal area will let the finger enter the tab to open the can. The tab will be improved from planed shape touch on lid to an inclined angle facing upward. The up angle area may be planed or bending curved up allowing finger to enter the space supplied. Then the operator can quickly lift the pull-tab to open the can.

Claims

1. This invention is an improvement of pull-tab of the pull-top mechanism to open the pull-top can, which consists of a metallic can body and a pull-top mechanism at the caulked lid with the cut-open portion on the top of the can body. The pull-tab which is the main part of the pull-top mechanism connected to the cut-open portion with the pin. The terminal angle may be planed and the terminal area will be big enough to allow finger to enter the space supplied to facilitate the opening of the can by pulling the tab.

2. As stated in claim 1, the pull-tab's terminal angle may also be bending curved up and the terminal area will be big enough to allow finger to enter the space supplied. The shape of the tab also helps enhancing the strength of the tab and improves the overall appearance of the can.
Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] A pull-top can is broadly used for beverages, beer and food cans, but currently marketing products showing the pull-tab of pull-top can are planed horizontal touch on the can body. The space between pull-tab and can body is too tie to let the finger enter operation. Assistance from something such as knife is needed to help lift the tab up to allow finger to enter and pull up the tab to open the can. Sometimes it might hurt the finger, if there is no pre-lift mechanism on the pull-tab to apply direct operation. Hence, it is necessary to make an improvement to the pull-tab of pull-top can for our better life.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0002] An improvement of pull-tab for pull-top can is at tab's terminal for the finger to enter the area to make an inclined angle up where above the area of the tab may be planed or bending curved up for the finger to easily enter the space supplied. Then, there will be a fast and easy lift at the pull-tab to open the pull-top can.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ANNEXED DRAWING

[0003] 1.) Drawing for this claim: FIG. 1 of 1 (Total 1)

[0004] 2.) Description of the drawing [0005] 1. Body of pull-top can [0006] 2. Pull-tab [0007] 3. The terminal tab area is planed or curved up inclined as an angle for the finger to easily enter operation per patent claim. [0008] 4. Cut-open portion [0009] 5. Pin

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] An improvement of pull-tab for pull-top can modifies the terminal area of the pull-tap from planed and horizontal to touch on the lid of the can to an inclined up on an angle where the angle area may be planed or bending curved up to allow the finger to enter operation easily. Then quickly and easily lift open the pull-top can.
